1. അനന്തരം അവന് തന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചു, അശുദ്ധാത്മാക്കളെ പുറത്താക്കുവാനും സകലവിധ ദീനവും വ്യാധിയും പൊറുപ്പിപ്പാനും അവര്ക്കും അധികാരം കൊടുത്തു.

1. And he called his .xii. disciples vnto hym and gave them power over vnclene sprites to cast them oute and to heale all maner of sicknesses and all maner of deseases.

2. പന്ത്രണ്ടു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ പേരാവിതുഒന്നാമന് പത്രൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ശിമോന് , അവന്റെ സഹോദരന് അന്ത്രെയാസ്, സെബെദിയുടെ മകന് യാക്കോബ്,

2. The names of the .xii. Apostles are these. The fyrst Simon called also Peter: and Andrew his brother. Iames the sonne of zebede aud Ihon his brother.

5. ഈ പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേരെയും യേശു അയക്കുമ്പോള് അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്“ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കല് പോകാതെയും ശമര്യരുടെ പട്ടണത്തില് കടക്കാതെയും

5. These .xii. sent Iesus and comaunded them sayinge: Go not in to ye wayes yt leade to the gentyls and in to ye cities of ye Samaritans enter ye not.

6. യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തിലെ കാണാതെ പോയ ആടുകളുടെ അടുക്കല് തന്നേ ചെല്ലുവിന് .

6. But go rather to ye lost shepe of the housse of Israel.

7. നിങ്ങള് പോകുമ്പോള്സ്വര്ഗ്ഗരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് .

7. Go and preach sayinge: yt the kyngdome of heve is at hande.

8. രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുവിന് ; മരിച്ചവരെ ഉയിര്പ്പിപ്പിന് ; കുഷ്ഠരോഗികളെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവിന് ; ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുവിന് ; സൌജന്യമായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ചു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുപ്പിന് .

8. Heale the sicke clense the lepers rayse the deed caste oute the devils. Frely ye have receved frely geve agayne.

9. മടിശ്ശീലയില് പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ചെമ്പും

9. Posses not golde nor silver nor brassse yn youre gerdels

10. വഴിക്കു പൊക്കണവും രണ്ടു ഉടുപ്പും ചെരിപ്പും വടിയും കരുതരുതു; വേലക്കാരന് തന്റെ ആഹാരത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യനല്ലോ

10. nor yet scrip towardes your iorney: nether two cotes nether shues nor yet a staffe. For the workma is worthy to have his meate.

11. ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലോ ഗ്രാമത്തിലോ കടക്കുമ്പോള് അവിടെ യോഗ്യന് ആര് എന്നു അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് ; പുറപ്പെടുവോളം അവിടത്തന്നേ പാര്പ്പിന് .

11. In to whatsoever cite or toune ye shall come enquyre who ys worthy yn it and there abyde till ye goo thence.

12. ആ വീട്ടില് ചെല്ലുമ്പോള് അതിന്നു വന്ദനം പറവിന് .

12. And whe ye come in to an housse salute ye same.

13. വീട്ടിന്നു യോഗ്യതയുണ്ടെങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ സമാധാനം അതിന്മേല് വരട്ടെ; യോഗ്യതയില്ല എന്നു വരികില് സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരട്ടെ.

13. And yf the housse be worthy youre peace shall come apon it. But yf it be not worthy youre peace shall retourne to you agayne.

14. ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാതെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേള്ക്കാതെയുമിരുന്നാല് ആ വീടോ പട്ടണമോ വിട്ടു പോകുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലിലെ പൊടി തട്ടിക്കളവിന് .

14. And whosoever shall not receave you nor will heare youre preachynge: when ye departe oute of yt housse or that cite shake of the duste of youre fete.

15. ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തില് ആ പട്ടണത്തെക്കാള് സൊദോമ്യരുടേയും ഗമോര്യരുടെയും ദേശത്തിന്നു സഹിക്കാവതാകും എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

15. Truly I say vnto you: it shalbe easier for the londe of zodoma and Gomorra in the daye of iudgement then for that cite.

16. ചെന്നായ്ക്കളുടെ നടുവില് ആടിനെപ്പോലെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല് പാമ്പിനെപ്പോലെ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരും പ്രാവിനെപ്പോലെ കളങ്കമില്ലാത്തവരും ആയിരിപ്പിന് .

16. Beholde I sende you forthe as shepe amoge wolves. Be ye therfore wyse as serpetes and innocent as doves.

17. മനുഷ്യരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; അവര് നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായാധിപസഭകളില് ഏല്പിക്കയും തങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളികളില്വെച്ചു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിക്കയും

17. Beware of men for they shall deliver you vp to ye cousels and shall scourge you in their synagoges.

18. എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാടുവാഴികള്ക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും മുമ്പില് കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; അതു അവര്ക്കും ജാതികള്ക്കും ഒരു സാക്ഷ്യം ആയിരിക്കും.

18. And ye shall be brought to the heed rulers and kynges for my sake in witnes to them and to the gentyls.

19. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിക്കുമ്പോള് എങ്ങനെയോ എന്തോ പറയേണ്ടു എന്നു വിചാരപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; പറവാനുള്ളതു ആ നാഴികയില് തന്നേ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

19. But when they delyver you vp take no thought how or what ye shall speake for yt shalbe geve you eve in that same houre what ye shall saye.

20. പറയുന്നതു നിങ്ങള് അല്ല, നിങ്ങളില് പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആത്മാവത്രേ.

20. For it is not ye that speke but ye sprite of your father which speaketh in you.

21. സഹോദരന് സഹോദരനെയും അപ്പന് മകനെയും മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കും; അമ്മയപ്പന്മാര്ക്കും എതിരായി മക്കള് എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരെ കൊല്ലിക്കും.

21. The brother shall betraye the brother to deeth and the father the sonne. And the chyldre shall aryse agaynste their fathers and mothers and shall put them to deethe:

22. എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും; അവസാനത്തോളം സഹിച്ചുനിലക്കുന്നവനോ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.

22. and ye shall be hated of all me for my name. But he that endureth to the ende shalbe saved.

23. എന്നാല് ഒരു പട്ടണത്തില് നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചാല് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന് . മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് വരുവോളം നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല് പട്ടണങ്ങളെ സഞചരിച്ചു തീരുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

23. When they persecute you in one cite flye in to another. I tell you for a treuth ye shall not fynysshe all yt cities of Israel tyll ye sonne of man be come.

24. ശിഷ്യന് ഗുരുവിന്മീതെയല്ല; ദാസന് യജമാനന്നു മീതെയുമല്ല;

24. The disciple ys not above hys master: nor yet ye servaut above his lorde.

25. ഗുരുവിനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ശിഷ്യന്നു മതി; യജമാനനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ദാസന്നും മതി. അവര് വീട്ടുടയവനെ ബെയെത്സെബൂല് എന്നു വിളിച്ചു എങ്കില് വീട്ടുകാരെ എത്ര അധികം?

25. It is ynough for the disciple to be as hys master ys and that the servaunt be as his lorde ys. yf they have called the lorde of the housse beelzebub: how moche more shall they call them of his housholde so?

26. അതു കൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; മറെച്ചുവെച്ചതു ഒന്നും വെളിപ്പെടാതെയും ഗൂഢമായതു ഒന്നും അറിയാതെയും ഇരിക്കുകയില്ല.

26. Feare the not therfore. There is no thinge so close that shall not be openned and no thinge so hyd that shall not be knowen.

27. ഞാന് ഇരുട്ടത്തു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതു വെളിച്ചത്തു പറവിന് ; ചെവിയില് പറഞ്ഞുകേള്ക്കുന്നതു പുരമുകളില്നിന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് .

27. What I tell you in dercknes that speake ye in lyght. And what ye heare in the eare that preache ye on the housse toppes.

28. ദേഹിയെ കൊല്ലുവാന് കഴിയാതെ ദേഹത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ദേഹിയെയും ദേഹത്തെയും നരകത്തില് നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് കഴിയുന്നവനെ തന്നേ ഭയപ്പെടുവിന് .

28. And feare ye not them which kyll the body and be not able to kyll the soule. But rather feare hym which is able to destroye bothe soule and body into hell.

29. കാശിന്നു രണ്ടു കുരികില് വില്ക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അവയില് ഒന്നുപോലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു സമ്മതിക്കാതെ നിലത്തു വീഴുകയില്ല.

29. Are not two sparowes solde for a farthinge? And none of them dothe lyght on the grounde with out youre father.

30. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ തലയിലെ രോമവും എല്ലാം എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

30. And now are all the heeris of youre heedis numbred.

31. ആകയാല് ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഏറിയ കുരികിലുകളെക്കാളും നിങ്ങള് വിശേഷതയുള്ളവരല്ലോ.

31. Feare ye not therfore: ye are of more value then many sparowes.

32. മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പില് എന്നെ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്ന ഏവനെയും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവിന് മുമ്പില് ഞാനും ഏറ്റുപറയും.

32. Who soever therfore shall knowledge me before men hym will I knowledge also before my father which is in heuen.

33. മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പില് എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയുന്നവനെയോ എന്റെ പിതാവിന് മുമ്പില് ഞാനും തള്ളിപ്പറയും.

33. But whoso ever shall denye me before men hym will I also denye before my father which is in heven.

34. ഞാന് ഭൂമിയില് സമാധാനം വരുത്തുവാന് വന്നു എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കരുതു; സമാധാനം അല്ല വാള് അത്രേ വരുത്തുവാന് ഞാന് വന്നതു.

34. Thynke not that I am come to sende peace into the erth. I came not to send peace but a swearde.

35. മനുഷ്യനെ തന്റെ അപ്പനോടും മകളെ അമ്മയോടും മരുമകളെ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടും ഭേദിപ്പിപ്പാനത്രേ ഞാന് വന്നതു.

35. For I am come to set a man at varyaunce ageynst hys father and the doughter ageynst hyr mother and the doughterlawe ageynst her motherlawe:

36. മനുഷ്യന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര് തന്നേ അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ആകും.

36. And a mannes fooes shalbe they of hys owne housholde.

37. എന്നെക്കാള് അധികം അപ്പനേയോ അമ്മയേയോ പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവന് എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല; എന്നെക്കാള് അധികം മകനെയോ മകളെയോ പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവന് എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല.

37. He that lovith hys father or mother more then me is not mete for me. And he that loveth his sonne or doughter more then me is not mete for me.

38. തന്റെ ക്രൂശു എടുത്തു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാത്തവനും എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല.

38. And he yt taketh not his crosse and foloweth me ys not mete for me.

39. തന്റെ ജീവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയവന് അതിനെ കളയും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം തന്റെ ജീവനെ കളഞ്ഞവന് അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

39. He that fyndeth hys lyfe shall lose it: and he that losith hys lyfe for my sake shall fynde it.

40. നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന് എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന് എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

40. He that receavith you receavith me: and he that receavith me receavith him that sent me.

41. പ്രവാചകന് എന്നുവെച്ചു പ്രവാചകനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നു പ്രവാചകന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കും. നീതിമാന് എന്നുവെച്ചു നീതിമാനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നു നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കും.

41. He that receavith a prophet in ye name of a prophet shall receave a prophetes rewarde. And he that receavith a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receave the rewarde of a righteous man.

42. ശിഷ്യന് എന്നു വെച്ചു ഈ ചെറിയവരില് ഒരുത്തന്നു ഒരു പാനപാത്രം തണ്ണീര് മാത്രം കുടിപ്പാന് കൊടുക്കുന്നവന്നു പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടാതെ പോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.”

42. And whosoever shall geve vnto one of these lytle ones to drincke a cuppe of colde water only in the name of a disciple: I tel you of a trueth he shall not lose his rewarde.
