1. അനന്തരം അവന് തന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചു, അശുദ്ധാത്മാക്കളെ പുറത്താക്കുവാനും സകലവിധ ദീനവും വ്യാധിയും പൊറുപ്പിപ്പാനും അവര്ക്കും അധികാരം കൊടുത്തു.

1. And Jesus called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

2. പന്ത്രണ്ടു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ പേരാവിതുഒന്നാമന് പത്രൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ശിമോന് , അവന്റെ സഹോദരന് അന്ത്രെയാസ്, സെബെദിയുടെ മകന് യാക്കോബ്,

2. And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

3. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന് യോഹന്നാന് , ഫിലിപ്പൊസ്, ബര്ത്തൊലൊമായി, തോമസ്, ചുങ്കക്കാരന് മത്തായി, അല്ഫായുടെ മകന് യാക്കോബ്,
മീഖാ 7:6

3. And he said to them, Take nothing for your+ journey, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; neither have two coats each.

4. തദ്ദായി, ശിമോന് , യേശുവിനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ഈസ്കര്യോത്താ യൂദാ.

4. And into whatever house you+ enter, there stay, and from there depart.

5. ഈ പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേരെയും യേശു അയക്കുമ്പോള് അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്“ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കല് പോകാതെയും ശമര്യരുടെ പട്ടണത്തില് കടക്കാതെയും

5. And as many as do not receive you+, when you+ depart from that city, shake off the dust from your+ feet for a testimony against them.

6. യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തിലെ കാണാതെ പോയ ആടുകളുടെ അടുക്കല് തന്നേ ചെല്ലുവിന് .

6. And they departed, and went throughout the villages, preaching the good news, and healing everywhere.

7. നിങ്ങള് പോകുമ്പോള്സ്വര്ഗ്ഗരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് .

7. At that season Herod the tetrarch heard the report concerning Jesus,

8. രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുവിന് ; മരിച്ചവരെ ഉയിര്പ്പിപ്പിന് ; കുഷ്ഠരോഗികളെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവിന് ; ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുവിന് ; സൌജന്യമായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ചു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുപ്പിന് .

8. and said to his [household] slaves, This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead; and therefore these powers work in him.

9. മടിശ്ശീലയില് പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ചെമ്പും

9. And the apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus; and they told him all things that they had done, and that they had taught.

10. വഴിക്കു പൊക്കണവും രണ്ടു ഉടുപ്പും ചെരിപ്പും വടിയും കരുതരുതു; വേലക്കാരന് തന്റെ ആഹാരത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യനല്ലോ

10. And he says to them, You+ come yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest awhile. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

11. ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലോ ഗ്രാമത്തിലോ കടക്കുമ്പോള് അവിടെ യോഗ്യന് ആര് എന്നു അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് ; പുറപ്പെടുവോളം അവിടത്തന്നേ പാര്പ്പിന് .

11. And they went away in the boat to a desert place apart.

12. ആ വീട്ടില് ചെല്ലുമ്പോള് അതിന്നു വന്ദനം പറവിന് .

12. And [the people] saw them going, and many knew [them], and they ran together there on foot from all the cities, and outwent them.

13. വീട്ടിന്നു യോഗ്യതയുണ്ടെങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ സമാധാനം അതിന്മേല് വരട്ടെ; യോഗ്യതയില്ല എന്നു വരികില് സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരട്ടെ.

13. And he came forth and saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

14. ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാതെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേള്ക്കാതെയുമിരുന്നാല് ആ വീടോ പട്ടണമോ വിട്ടു പോകുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലിലെ പൊടി തട്ടിക്കളവിന് .

14. And when evening came, the disciples came to him, saying, The place is desert, and the time is already past; send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food.

15. ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തില് ആ പട്ടണത്തെക്കാള് സൊദോമ്യരുടേയും ഗമോര്യരുടെയും ദേശത്തിന്നു സഹിക്കാവതാകും എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

15. But Jesus said to them, They have no need to go away; you+ give them to eat.

16. ചെന്നായ്ക്കളുടെ നടുവില് ആടിനെപ്പോലെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല് പാമ്പിനെപ്പോലെ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരും പ്രാവിനെപ്പോലെ കളങ്കമില്ലാത്തവരും ആയിരിപ്പിന് .

16. And they say to him, We have here but five loaves, and two fish.

17. മനുഷ്യരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; അവര് നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായാധിപസഭകളില് ഏല്പിക്കയും തങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളികളില്വെച്ചു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിക്കയും

17. And he said, Bring them here to me.

18. എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാടുവാഴികള്ക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും മുമ്പില് കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; അതു അവര്ക്കും ജാതികള്ക്കും ഒരു സാക്ഷ്യം ആയിരിക്കും.

18. And having commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass, having taken the five loaves and the two fish, [and] having looked up to heaven, he blessed. And having broken the loaves, he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples [gave] to the multitudes.

19. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിക്കുമ്പോള് എങ്ങനെയോ എന്തോ പറയേണ്ടു എന്നു വിചാരപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; പറവാനുള്ളതു ആ നാഴികയില് തന്നേ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

19. And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.

20. പറയുന്നതു നിങ്ങള് അല്ല, നിങ്ങളില് പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആത്മാവത്രേ.

20. And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

21. സഹോദരന് സഹോദരനെയും അപ്പന് മകനെയും മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കും; അമ്മയപ്പന്മാര്ക്കും എതിരായി മക്കള് എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരെ കൊല്ലിക്കും.

21. And right away he constrained the disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him to the other side, until he should send the multitudes away.

22. എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും; അവസാനത്തോളം സഹിച്ചുനിലക്കുന്നവനോ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.

22. And after he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain apart to pray: and when evening came, he was there alone.

23. എന്നാല് ഒരു പട്ടണത്തില് നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചാല് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന് . മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് വരുവോളം നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല് പട്ടണങ്ങളെ സഞചരിച്ചു തീരുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

23. But the boat was now a long distance away from the land, distressed by the waves; for the wind was contrary.

24. ശിഷ്യന് ഗുരുവിന്മീതെയല്ല; ദാസന് യജമാനന്നു മീതെയുമല്ല;

24. And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.

25. ഗുരുവിനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ശിഷ്യന്നു മതി; യജമാനനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ദാസന്നും മതി. അവര് വീട്ടുടയവനെ ബെയെത്സെബൂല് എന്നു വിളിച്ചു എങ്കില് വീട്ടുകാരെ എത്ര അധികം?

25. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear.

26. അതു കൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; മറെച്ചുവെച്ചതു ഒന്നും വെളിപ്പെടാതെയും ഗൂഢമായതു ഒന്നും അറിയാതെയും ഇരിക്കുകയില്ല.

26. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; don't be afraid.

27. ഞാന് ഇരുട്ടത്തു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതു വെളിച്ചത്തു പറവിന് ; ചെവിയില് പറഞ്ഞുകേള്ക്കുന്നതു പുരമുകളില്നിന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് .

27. And when he got up into the boat, the wind ceased.

28. ദേഹിയെ കൊല്ലുവാന് കഴിയാതെ ദേഹത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ദേഹിയെയും ദേഹത്തെയും നരകത്തില് നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് കഴിയുന്നവനെ തന്നേ ഭയപ്പെടുവിന് .

28. And when they had crossed over, they came to the land, to Gennesaret.

29. കാശിന്നു രണ്ടു കുരികില് വില്ക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അവയില് ഒന്നുപോലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു സമ്മതിക്കാതെ നിലത്തു വീഴുകയില്ല.

29. And when the men of that place knew him, they sent into all around that region, and brought to him all who were sick;

30. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ തലയിലെ രോമവും എല്ലാം എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

30. and they implored him that they might only touch the border of his garment: and as many as touched were made whole.
