4. When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.

18. Yochanan's talmidim and the Perushim were fasting, and they came and asked him, 'Why do Yochanan's talmidim and the talmidim of the Perushim fast, but your talmidim don't fast?'

19. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുമണവാളന് കൂടെ ഉള്ളപ്പോള് തോഴ്മക്കാര്ക്കും ഉപവസിപ്പാന് കഴിയുമോ? മണവാളന് കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുംകാലത്തോളം അവര്ക്കും ഉപവസിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല.

19. Yeshua said to them, 'Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can't fast.

21. No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.

22. ആരും പുതിയ വീഞ്ഞു പഴയ തുരുത്തിയില് പകര്ന്നു വെക്കുമാറില്ല; വെച്ചാല് പുതുവീഞ്ഞു തുരുത്തിയെ പൊളിക്കും; വീഞ്ഞു ഒഴുകിപ്പോകും; തുരുത്തി നശിച്ചുപോകും; പുതിയ വീഞ്ഞു പുതിയ തുരുത്തിയിലത്രേ പകര്ന്നു വെക്കേണ്ടതു.

22. No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.'

25. He said to them, 'Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry�he, and they who were with him?
