1. നിങ്ങള് ഇടറിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

1. These thynges haue I sayde vnto you, because ye shoulde not be offended.

2. അവര് നിങ്ങളെ പള്ളിഭ്രഷ്ടര് ആക്കും; അത്രയുമല്ല നിങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് എല്ലാം ദൈവത്തിന്നു വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിചാരിക്കുന്ന നാഴിക വരുന്നു.

2. They shall excomunitate you: yea the time shall come, that who so euer kylleth you, wyll thynke that he doth God seruice.

3. അവര് പിതാവിനെയും എന്നെയും അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യും.

3. And such thynges wyll they do vnto you, because they haue not knowen the father, neither yet me.

4. അതിന്റെ നാഴിക വരുമ്പോള് ഞാന് അതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഔര്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആദിയില് ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാഞ്ഞതു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ.

4. But these thynges haue I tolde you, that when the tyme is come, ye may remeber then that I tolde you. These thynges sayde I not vnto you at the begynnyng, because I was present with you.

5. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നുനീ എവിടെ പോകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് ആരും എന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ല.

5. But nowe I go my waye, to hym that sent me, & none of you asketh me, whyther goest thou.

6. എങ്കിലും ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദുഃഖം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. But because I haue saide such thinges vnto you, your heartes are ful of sorow.

7. എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു സത്യം പറയുന്നു; ഞാന് പോകുന്നതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രയോജനം; ഞാന് പോകാഞ്ഞാല് കാര്യസ്ഥന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരികയില്ല; ഞാന് പോയാല് അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് അയക്കും.

7. Neuerthelesse, I tell you the trueth, it is expedient for you that I go away. For yf I go not away, that comforter wyll not come vnto you: But yf I depart, I wyll sende hym vnto you.

8. അവന് വന്നു പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചും ന്യായവിധിയെക്കുറിച്ചും ലോകത്തിന്നു ബോധം വരുത്തും.
യെശയ്യാ 2:4

8. And whe he is come, he wyll rebuke the world of sinne, and of righteousnes, and of iudgement.

9. അവര് എന്നില് വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും

9. Of sinne, because they beleue not on me.

10. ഞാന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകയും നിങ്ങള് ഇനി എന്നെ കാണാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

10. Of righteousnes, because I go to my father, and ye shall see me no more.

11. നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചും ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ന്യായ വിധിയെക്കുറിച്ചും തന്നേ.

11. Of iudgement, because the prince of this worlde is iudged [alredy.]

12. ഇനിയും വളരെ നിങ്ങളോടു പറവാന് ഉണ്ടു; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇപ്പോള് വഹിപ്പാന് കഴിവില്ല.

12. I haue yet many thynges to say vnto you, but ye can not beare them away nowe.

13. സത്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു വരുമ്പോഴോ അവന് നിങ്ങളെ സകല സത്യത്തിലും വഴിനടത്തും; അവന് സ്വയമായി സംസാരിക്കാതെ താന് കേള്ക്കുന്നതു സംസാരിക്കയും വരുവാനുള്ളതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അറിയിച്ചുതരികയും ചെയ്യും.

13. Howebeit, when he is come, whiche is the spirite of trueth, he wyl leade you into all trueth. He shall not speake of himselfe: but whatsoeuer he shal heare, that shall he speake, and he wyll shewe you thynges to come.

14. അവന് എനിക്കുള്ളതില്നിന്നു എടുത്തു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അറിയിച്ചുതരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

14. He shall glorifie me: For he shall receaue of mine, and shal shewe vnto you.

15. പിതാവിന്നുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു; അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന് എനിക്കുള്ളതില് നിന്നു എടുത്തു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അറിയിച്ചുതരും എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞതു.

15. All thynges that the father hath, are mine: Therfore sayde I [vnto you] that he shall take of mine, & shew vnto you.

16. കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കാണും.

16. After a whyle, and ye shall not see me, and agayne after a whyle ye shall see me: for I go to the father.

17. അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് ചിലര്കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്നെ കാണും എന്നും പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നു എന്നും അവന് നമ്മോടു ഈ പറയുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു തമ്മില് ചോദിച്ചു.

17. Then sayde some of his disciples betwene them selues: What is this that he saith vnto vs, after a whyle, & ye shal not see me, and againe, after a whyle ye shal see me: and, that I go to the father?

18. കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു എന്നു ഈ പറയുന്നതു എന്താകുന്നു? അവന് എന്തു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നും അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

18. They sayde therefore: What is this that he saith, after a whyle? we can not tell what he saith.

19. അവര് തന്നോടു ചോദിപ്പാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുകുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്നെ കാണും എന്നു ഞാന് പറകയാല് നിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് തമ്മില് ചോദിക്കുന്നുവോ?

19. Iesus perceaued that they would aske hym, and sayde vnto them: Do ye enquire among your selues of that I said after a whyle, and, ye shall not see me, & againe, after a while & ye shall see me?

20. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് കരഞ്ഞു വിലപിക്കും; ലോകമോ സന്തോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങള് ദുഃഖിക്കും; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുഃഖം സന്തോഷമായിത്തീരും.

20. Ueryly veryly I say vnto you, ye shall wepe and lament, the worlde shall reioyce: ye shall sorowe, but your sorowe shalbe turned to ioy.

21. സ്ത്രീ പ്രസവിക്കുമ്പോള് തന്റെ നാഴിക വന്നതു കൊണ്ടു അവള്ക്കു ദുഃഖം ഉണ്ടു; കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചശേഷമോ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് ലോകത്തിലേക്കു പിറന്നിരിക്കുന്ന സന്തോഷം നിമിത്തം അവള് തന്റെ കഷ്ടം പിന്നെ ഔര്ക്കുംന്നില്ല.

21. A woman, when she trauayleth, hath sorowe, because her houre is come: but assoone as she is deliuered of the childe, she remembreth no more the anguishe, for ioy that a man is borne into ye world.

22. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കും ഇപ്പോള് ദുഃഖം ഉണ്ടു എങ്കിലും ഞാന് പിന്നെയും നിങ്ങളെ കാണും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം ആരും നിങ്ങളില് നിന്നു എടുത്തുകളകയില്ല.
യെശയ്യാ 66:14

22. And ye nowe therefore haue sorowe: but I wyll see you agayne, and your heartes shall reioyce, and your ioy shall no man take from you.

23. അന്നു നിങ്ങള് എന്നോടു ഒന്നും ചോദിക്കയില്ല. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് പിതാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും അവന് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും.

23. And in that day shall ye aske me no question. Ueryly veryly I say vnto you, whatsoeuer ye shal aske the father in my name, he wyll geue it you.

24. ഇന്നുവരെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഒന്നും അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; അപേക്ഷിപ്പിന് ; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം പൂര്ണ്ണമാകുംവണ്ണം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

24. Hytherto haue ye asked nothyng in my name: Aske, & ye shall receaue, that your ioy may be full.

25. ഇതു ഞാന് സദൃശമായി നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ഞാന് ഇനി സദൃശമായി നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കാതെ പിതാവിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു സ്പഷ്ടമായി നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്ന നാഴിക വരുന്നു.

25. These thynges haue I spoken vnto you by prouerbes. The tyme wyl come, when I shall no more speake vnto you by prouerbes: but I shall shewe you playnely of my father.

26. അന്നു നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അപേക്ഷിക്കും; ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി പിതാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു ഞാന് പറയുന്നില്ല.

26. At that day shall ye aske in my name: And I say not vnto you, that I wyll pray vnto my father for you.

27. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു, ഞാന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല്നിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു പിതാവു താനും നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

27. For the father hym selfe loueth you, because ye haue loued me, and haue beleued that I came out from God.

28. ഞാന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ലോകത്തില് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെയും ലോകത്തെ വിട്ടു പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നു.

28. I went out from the father, and came into the worlde: Agayne, I leaue the worlde, and go to the father.

29. അതിന്നു അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര്ഇപ്പോള് നീ സദൃശം ഒന്നും പറയാതെ സ്പഷ്ടമായി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

29. His disciples sayde vnto hym: Lo, nowe talkest thou plainely, and speakest no prouerbe.

30. നീ സകലവും അറിയുന്നു എന്നും ആരും നിന്നോടു ചോദിപ്പാന് നിനക്കു ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല എന്നും ഞങ്ങള് ഇപ്പോള് അറിയുന്നു; ഇതിനാല് നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല്നിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30. Nowe are we sure that thou knowest all thynges, & nedest not, that any man shoulde aske thee [any question:] Therfore beleue we, that thou camest from God.

31. യേശു അവരോടുഇപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ?

31. Iesus aunswered them: Do ye nowe beleue?

32. നിങ്ങള് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ സ്വന്തത്തിലേക്കു ചിതറിപ്പോകയും എന്നെ ഏകനായി വിടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നാഴിക വരുന്നു; വന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു; പിതാവു എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉള്ളതു കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ഏകനല്ല താനും.

32. Beholde, the houre draweth nye, and is alredy come, that ye shalbe scattered euery man to his owne, and shall leaue me alone. And yet am I not alone: For the father is with me.

33. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നില് സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ലോകത്തില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കഷ്ടം ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുവിന് ; ഞാന് ലോകത്തെ ജയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

33. These wordes haue I spoken vnto you, that in me ye myght haue peace. For in the worlde shall ye haue tribulation: but be of good cheare, I haue ouercome the worlde.
