1. മോശെ യിസ്രായേല് മൂപ്പന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന സകല കല്പനകളും പ്രമാണിപ്പിന് .

1. And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

2. നിങ്ങള് യോര്ദ്ദാന് കടന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു എത്തുന്ന ദിവസം നീ വലിയ കല്ലുകള് നാട്ടി അവേക്കു കുമ്മായം തേക്കേണം

2. And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass the Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God gives thee that thou shalt set thee up great stones and plaster them with plaster;

3. നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശമായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തു ചെല്ലുവാന് കടന്നശേഷം നീ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെല്ലാം അവയില് എഴുതേണം.

3. And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law when thou has passed to enter in unto the land which the LORD thy God gives thee, a land that flows with milk and honey, as the LORD God of thy fathers has said unto thee.

4. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് യോര്ദ്ദാന് കടന്നിട്ടു ഞാന് ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന ഈ കല്ലുകള് ഏബാല് പര്വ്വത്തില് നാട്ടുകയും അവേക്കു കുമ്മായം തേക്കുകയും വേണം.

4. Therefore, it shall be when ye have passed the Jordan, [that] ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in Mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.

5. അവിടെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു യാഗപീഠം പണിയേണം; അതിന്മേല് ഇരിമ്പു തൊടുവിക്കരുതു.

5. And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones; thou shalt not lift up [any] iron [tool] upon them.

6. ചെത്താത്ത കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം പണിയേണം; അതിന്മേല് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള് അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

6. Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones, and thou shalt offer burnt offerings upon it unto the LORD thy God;

7. സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അര്പ്പിച്ചു അവിടെവെച്ചു തിന്നുകയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് സന്തോഷിക്കയും വേണം;

7. and thou shalt offer peace offerings and shalt eat there and rejoice before the LORD thy God.

8. ആ കല്ലുകളില് ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നല്ല തെളിവായി എഴുതേണം.

8. And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

9. മോശെയും ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനോടും യിസ്രായേലേ, മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു കേള്ക്ക; ഇന്നു നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ജനമായി തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. And Moses with the priests the Levites spoke unto all Israel, saying, Take heed and hearken, O Israel; today thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.

10. ആകയാല് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു അനുസരിച്ചു, ഞാന് ഇന്നു നിന്നോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ കല്പനകളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആചരിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10. Thou shalt, therefore, hear the voice of the LORD thy God and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

11. അന്നു മേശെ ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്

11. And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,

12. നിങ്ങള് യോര്ദ്ദാന് കടന്ന ശേഷം ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാന് ഗെരിസീംപര്വ്വതത്തില് നില്ക്കേണ്ടുന്നവര്ശിമെയോന് , ലേവി, യെഹൂദാ, യിസ്സാഖാര്, യോസേഫ്, ബേന്യാമീന് .

12. These shall stand upon Mount Gerizim to bless the people when ye have passed the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

13. ശപിപ്പാന് ഏബാല് പര്വ്വതത്തില് നില്ക്കേണ്ടന്നവരോരൂബേന് , ഗാദ്, ആശേര്, സെബൂലൂന് , ദാന് , നഫ്താലി.

13. And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to pronounce the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

14. അപ്പോള് ലേവ്യര് എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്യരോടും ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്

14. And the Levites shall speak and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice:

15. ശില്പിയുടെ കൈപ്പണിയായി യഹോവേക്കു അറെപ്പായ വല്ല വിഗ്രഹത്തെയും കൊത്തിയോ വാര്ത്തോ ഉണ്ടാക്കി രഹസ്യത്തില് പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയേണം.

15. Cursed [is] the man that makes [any] graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and puts [it] in a secret [place]. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

16. അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

16. Cursed [is] he that dishonours his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

17. കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ അതിര് നീക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

17. Cursed [is] he that reduces his neighbour's border. And all the people shall say, Amen.

18. കുരുടനെ വഴി തെറ്റിക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

18. Cursed [is] he that makes the blind to err in the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19. പരദേശിയുടെയും അനാഥന്റെയും വിധവയുടെയും ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

19. Cursed [is] he that twists the rights of the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

20. അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവന് അപ്പന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നീക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.
1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 5:1

20. Cursed [is] he that lies with his father's wife because he uncovers his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

21. വല്ല മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

21. Cursed [is] he that lies with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

22. അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ സഹോദരിയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

22. Cursed [is] he that lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

23. അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

23. Cursed [is] he that lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

24. കൂട്ടുകാരനെ രഹസ്യമായി കൊല്ലുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

24. Cursed [is] he that smites his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

25. കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

25. Cursed [is] he that takes a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

26. ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങള് പ്രമാണമാക്കി അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാത്തവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ജനമെല്ലാംആമേന് എന്നു പറയേണം.

26. Cursed [is] he that does not confirm [all] the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.:
