1. പിന്നെ ദണ്ഡുപോലെയുള്ള ഒരു കോല് എന്റെ കയ്യില് കിട്ടി കല്പന ലഭിച്ചതുനീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തെയും യാഗപീഠത്തെയും അതില് നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെയും അളക്കുക.

1. And then was given me a reed, like unto a rod, and it was said unto me: Rise and meet the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein,

2. ആലയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുള്ള പ്രാകാരം അളക്കാതെ വിട്ടേക്ക; അതു ജാതികള്ക്കു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് വിശുദ്ധനഗരത്തെ നാല്പത്തുരണ്ടു മാസം ചവിട്ടും.

2. and the choir(quire) which is within the temple cast out, and meet it not: for it is given unto the gentiles, and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty two months.

3. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

4. These are two olive trees, and two candlesticks, standing before the God of the earth.

5. ആരെങ്കിലും അവര്ക്കും ദോഷം ചെയ്വാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചാല് അവരുടെ വായില് നിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; അവര്ക്കും ദോഷം വരുത്തുവാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവന് ഇങ്ങനെ മരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

5. And if any man will hurt them, fire shall proceed out of their mouths, and consume their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, this wise must he be killed.

6. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophesying: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all manner plagues, as often as they will.

7. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം തികെച്ചശേഷം ആഴത്തില് നിന്നു കയറി വരുന്ന മൃഗം അവരോടു പടവെട്ടി അവരെ ജയിച്ചു കൊന്നുകളയും.

7. And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that came out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them: and shall overcome, (them) and kill them.

8. അവരുടെ കര്ത്താവു ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും ആത്മികമായി സൊദോം എന്നും മിസ്രയീം എന്നും പേരുള്ളതുമായ മഹാനഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥിയില് അവരുടെ ശവം കിടക്കും.

8. And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which spiritually is called Zodom and Eygpt, where our Lord was crucified.

9. സകലവംശക്കാരും ഗോത്രക്കാരും ഭാഷക്കാരും ജാതിക്കാരും അവരുടെ ശവം മൂന്നരദിവസം കാണും; അവരുടെ ശവം കല്ലറയില് വെപ്പാന് സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല.

9. And they(some) of the people and kindreds, and tongues, and they of the nations, shall see their bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their bodies to be put in graves.

10. ഈ പ്രവാചകന്മാര് ഇരുവരും ഭൂമിയില് വസിക്കുന്നവരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂവാസികള് അവര് നിമിത്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു ആനന്ദിക്കയും അന്യോന്യം സമ്മാനം കൊടുത്തയക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

10. And they that dwell upon the earth, shall rejoice over them and be glad, and shall send gifts one to another: for these two prophets vexed them that dwelt on the earth.

11. And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood up upon their feet: and great fear came upon them which saw them.

12. And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying unto them. Come up hither. And they ascended up into heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.

13. ആ നാഴികയില് വലിയോരു ഭൂകമ്പം ഉണ്ടായി; നഗരത്തില് പത്തിലൊന്നു ഇടിഞ്ഞുവീണു; ഭൂകമ്പത്തില് ഏഴായിരം പേര് മരിച്ചുപോയി; ശേഷിച്ചവര് ഭയപരവശരായി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുത്തു.

13. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain names of men seven thousand and the remnant were feared, and gave glory to God of heaven.

14. രണ്ടാമത്തെ കഷ്ടം കഴിഞ്ഞു; മൂന്നാമത്തെ കഷ്ടം വേഗം വരുന്നു.

14. The second woe is past, and behold the third woe will come anon.

15. ഏഴാമത്തെ ദൂതന് ഊതിയപ്പോള്ലോകരാജത്വം നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവിന്നും അവന്റെ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നും ആയിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴും എന്നു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് ഒരു മഹാഘോഷം ഉണ്ടായി.

15. And the seventh angel blew, and there were made great voices in heaven, saying: the kingdoms of this world are our Lord's and his Christ's,(christes) and he shall reign for evermore.

16. ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് സിംഹാസനങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇരുപത്തുനാലു മൂപ്പന്മാരും കവിണ്ണുവീണു ദൈവത്തെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു.

16. And the twenty four seniors,(elders) which sit before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God

17. സര്വ്വശക്തിയുള്ള കര്ത്താവായ ദൈവമേ, ഇരിക്കുന്നവനും ഇരുന്നവനുമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ മഹാശക്തി ധരിച്ചു വാഴുകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

17. saying: we give thee thanks Lord God omnipotent:(allmighty:) which art and wast, and art to come, for thou hast received thy great might, and hast reigned.

18. ജാതികള് കോപിച്ചുനിന്റെ കോപവും വന്നുമരിച്ചവരെ ന്യായം വിധിപ്പാനും നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും വിശുദ്ധന്മാര്ക്കും ചെറിയവരും വലിയവരുമായി നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും പ്രതിഫലം കൊടുപ്പാനും ഭൂമിയെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും ഉള്ള കാലവും വന്നു.

And the nations(Heythen) were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that thou shouldest judge them: and(that they should be judged and that thou) shouldest give reward unto thy servants (the) prophets and saints, and to them that fear thy name small and great and shouldest destroy them, which destroy the earth.

19. അപ്പോള് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൈവാലയം തുറന്നു, അവന്റെ നിയമപ്പെട്ടകം അവന്റെ ആലയത്തില് പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി; മിന്നലും നാദവും ഇടിമുഴക്കവും ഭൂകമ്പവും വലിയ കന്മഴയും ഉണ്ടായി.

19. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple, the ark of his testament: and there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunderings and earthquake, and much hail.(a great hail)
