1. അപ്പോള് ചുറ്റും നിലക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പില് തന്നെത്താന് അടക്കുവാന് വഹിയാതെഎല്ലാവരെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കുവിന് എന്നു യോസേഫ് വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ യോസേഫ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോള് ആരും അടുക്കല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

1. Ioseph coulde no longer refrayne before all the that stoode by hym, wherefore he cryed: cause euery man to auoyde. And there remayned no man with him, whyle Ioseph vttered hym selfe vnto his brethren.

2. അവന് ഉച്ചത്തില് കരഞ്ഞു; മിസ്രയീമ്യരും ഫറവോന്റെ ഗൃഹവും അതു കേട്ടു.

2. And he wept aloude, and the Egyptians, and the house of Pharao heard.

3. യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടുഞാന് യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അപ്പന് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയതുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറവാന് അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

3. And Ioseph sayde vnto his brethren: I am Ioseph, doth my father yet lyue? And his brethren could not aunswere him, they were so abashed at his presence.

4. യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടുഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുത്തുവരുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവര് അടുത്തുചെന്നപ്പോള് അവന് പറഞ്ഞതു; നിങ്ങള് മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന് യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു ഞാന് .

4. And Ioseph sayde vnto his brethren, come neare to me I pray you. And they came neare. And he said, I am Ioseph your brother who ye solde into Egypt.

5. എന്നെ ഇവിടെ വിറ്റതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ടാ, വിഷാദിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ; ജീവരക്ഷക്കായി ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.

5. Nowe therefore be not greeued herewith, neither let it seeme a cruel thing in your eyes, that ye solde me hyther: for God did sende me before you to preserue lyfe.

6. ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു ഇപ്പോള് രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായി; ഉഴവും കൊയ്ത്തും ഇല്ലാത്ത അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ഇനിയും ഉണ്ടു.

6. For this is the seconde yere of dearth in the lande, and fiue more are behinde, in the whiche there shall neyther be earyng nor haruest.

7. ഭൂമിയില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സന്തതി ശേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും വലിയോരു രക്ഷയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Wherfore God sent me before you, to preserue you a posteritie in the earth, and to saue your liues by a great deliueraunce.

8. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് അല്ല, ദൈവം അത്രേ എന്നെ ഇവിടെ അയച്ചതു; അവന് എന്നെ ഫറവോന്നു പിതാവും അവന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒക്കെയും യജമാനനും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. So nowe, it was not ye that sent me hyther, but God whiche hath made me a father to Pharao, and lorde of all his house, and ruler throughout all the lande of Egypt.

9. നിങ്ങള് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിന്റെ മകനായ യോസേഫ് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നുദൈവം എന്നെ മിസ്രയീമിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ താമസിയാതെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

9. Haste you, and go vp to my father, and tell him: thus saieth thy sonne Ioseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt, come downe therfore vnto me, tary not.

10. നീ ഗോശെന് ദേശത്തു പാര്ത്തു എനിക്കു സമീപമായിരിക്കും; നീയും മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും നിന്റെ ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളും നിനക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും തന്നേ.

10. And thou shalt dwell in the land of Gosen and be a neyghbour vnto me, thou, & thy chyldren, and thy chyldrens children, thy sheepe, and thy beastes, and all that thou hast.

11. നിനക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും നിനക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്നും ദാരിദ്ര്യം നേരിടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവിടെ നിന്നെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കും; ക്ഷാമം ഇനിയും അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം നിലക്കും.

11. And there wyll I prouide thee sustenaunce (for there remaine yet fiue yeres of dearth) lest thou and thy housholde, & all that thou hast come to pouertie.

12. ഇതാ, ഞാന് തന്നേ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും എന്റെ അനുജന് ബെന്യാമീനും കണ്ണാലെ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.

12. And beholde your eyes do see, and the eyes also of my brother Beniamin, that mine own mouth speaketh vnto you.

13. മിസ്രയീമില് എനിക്കുള്ള മഹത്വവും നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടതൊക്കെയും അപ്പനെ അറിയിക്കേണം; എന്റെ അപ്പനെ വേഗത്തില് ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും വേണം.

13. Therfore tell my father of all my glorie in Egypt, and of all that you haue seene, and make hast, and bryng my father hyther.

14. അവന് തന്റെ അനുജന് ബെന്യാമീനെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; ബെന്യാമീന് അവനെയും കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു.

14. And he fel on his brother Beniamins necke, and wept: and Beniamin wept on his necke.

15. അവന് സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും ചുംബിച്ചു കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാര് അവനുമായി സല്ലാപിച്ചു.

15. Moreouer he kissed al his brethren, and wept vpon them: and after that, his brethren talked with him.

16. യോസേഫിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ള കേള്വി ഫറവോന്റെ അരമനയില് എത്തി; അതു ഫറവോന്നും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാര്ക്കും സന്തോഷമായി.

16. And the fame [thereof] was hearde in Pharaos house, so that they sayde: Iosephes brethre are come. And it pleased Pharao well, and all his seruauntes.

17. ഫറവോന് യോസേഫിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് ഇതു ചെയ്വിന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പുറത്തു ചുമടുകയറ്റി പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാന് ദേശത്തു ചെന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ

17. And Pharao spake vnto Ioseph: say vnto thy brethren, this do ye: lade your beastes, and go [and] returne vnto the lande of Chanaan:

18. അപ്പനെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവിന് ; ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മിസ്രയീംരാജ്യത്തിലെ നന്മ തരും; ദേശത്തിന്റെ പുഷ്ടി നിങ്ങള് അനുഭവിക്കും.

18. Take your father, and your housesholdes, and come vnto me, and I wyll geue you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eate the fat of the lande.

19. നിനക്കു കല്പന തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാകുന്നു നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുനിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങള്ക്കും ഭാര്യമാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു രഥങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടുപോയി നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെ കയറ്റി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

19. And thou also shalt comaunde [them] this do ye: take charets with you out of the lande of Egypt for your chyldren, and for your wyues, and bryng your father, and come.

20. നിങ്ങളുടെ സാമാനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടാ; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെങ്ങുമുള്ള നന്മ നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

20. Also regarde not your stuffe, for the good of all the lande of Egypt is yours.

21. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു; യേസേഫ് അവര്ക്കും ഫറവോന്റെ കല്പന പ്രകാരം രഥങ്ങള് കൊടുത്തു; വഴിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന ആഹാരവും കൊടുത്തു.

21. And the children of Israel dyd euen so: and Ioseph gaue them charettes, accordyng to the commaundement of Pharao, and gaue them vitayle also to spende by the way.

22. അവരില് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ഔരോ വസ്ത്രവും ബെന്യാമീന്നോ മുന്നൂറു വെള്ളിക്കാശും അഞ്ചു വസ്ത്രവും കൊടുത്തു.

22. And he gaue vnto eche of the chaunge of raiment: but vnto Beniamin he gaue three hundred peeces of siluer, and fiue chaunge of rayment.

23. അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവന് തന്റെ അപ്പന്നു പത്തു കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു മിസ്രയീമിലെ വിശേഷ സാധനങ്ങളും പത്തു പെണ്കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു വഴിച്ചെലവിന്നു ധാന്യവും ആഹാരവും കയറ്റി അയച്ചു.

23. And vnto his father he sent after the same maner ten asses laden with good out of Egypt, and ten she asses laden with corne, & bread, and meate, for his father by the way.

24. അങ്ങനെ അവന് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ യാത്ര അയച്ചു; അവര് പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള്നിങ്ങള് വഴിയില് വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠകൂടരുതെന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

24. So sent he his brethren away, and they departed: and he sayd vnto them, see that ye fall to no stryfe on the way.

25. അവര് മിസ്രയീമില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാന് ദേശത്തു അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കല് എത്തി.

25. They departed therfore from Egypt, and came into the lande of Chanaan, vnto Iacob theyr father.

26. അവനോടുയോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോയി; അവര് പറഞ്ഞതു വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.

26. And tolde him, saying: Ioseph is yet aliue, and is gouernour ouer al the land of Egypt. And Iacobs heart wauered, for he beleued them not.

27. യോസേഫ് തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞവാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും അവര് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; തന്നെ കയറ്റികൊണ്ടു പോകുവാന് യോസേഫ് അയച്ച രഥങ്ങളെ കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവരുടെ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു വീണ്ടും ചൈതന്യം വന്നു.

27. And they tolde hym all the wordes of Ioseph, whiche he had said vnto them: And when he sawe the charets whiche Ioseph had sent to cary him, the spirite of Iacob their father reuiued.

28. മതി; എന്റെ മകന് യേസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് മരിക്കുംമുമ്പെ അവനെ പോയി കാണും എന്നു യിസ്രായേല് പറഞ്ഞു.

28. And Israel saide: [I haue] inough, that Ioseph my sonne is yet alyue: I will go, and see him, yer that I dye.
