1. യഹോവേ, എത്രത്തോളം നീ എന്നെ മറന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും? നീ എത്രത്തോളം നിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഞാന് കാണാതവണ്ണം മറെക്കും?

1. For the end, A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord, will You forget me? Forever? How long will You turn away Your face from me?

2. എത്രത്തോളം ഞാന് എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് വിചാരം പിടിച്ചു എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദിവസംപ്രതി ദുഃഖം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും? എത്രത്തോളം എന്റെ ശത്രു എന്റെമേല് ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കും?

2. How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrows in my heart daily? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

3. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളേണമേ; ഞാന് മരണനിദ്ര പ്രാപിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് എന്റെ കണ്ണുകളെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

3. Look on me, hearken to me, O Lord my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep in death;

4. ഞാന് അവനെ തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു എന്റെ ശത്രു പറയരുതേ; ഞാന് ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നതിനാല് എന്റെ വൈരികള് ഉല്ലസിക്കയുമരുതേ.

4. lest at any time my enemy say, I have prevailed against him: my persecutors will exalt if ever I should be moved.

5. ഞാനോ നിന്റെ കരുണയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിന്റെ രക്ഷയില് ആനന്ദിക്കും.

5. But I have hoped in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

6. യഹോവ എനിക്കു നന്മ ചെയ്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവന്നു പാട്ടു പാടും.

6. I will sing to the Lord who has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord Most High.
