1. ദൈവം ഇല്ല എന്നു മൂഢന് തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് പറയുന്നു; അവര് വഷളന്മാരായി മ്ളേച്ഛത പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു; നന്മചെയ്യുന്നവന് ആരുമില്ല.
റോമർ 3:10-12

1. For the leader. Of David. I Fools say in their hearts, 'There is no God.' Their deeds are loathsome and corrupt; not one does what is right.

2. ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമാനുണ്ടോ എന്നു കാണ്മാന് യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ നോക്കുന്നു.

2. The LORD looks down from heaven upon the human race, To see if even one is wise, if even one seeks God.

3. എല്ലാവരും വഴിതെറ്റി ഒരുപോലെ കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരായിത്തീര്ന്നു; നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നവനില്ല; ഒരുത്തന് പോലുമില്ല.

3. All have gone astray; all alike are perverse. Not one does what is right, not even one.

4. നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവര് ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ അവര് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു; യഹോവയോടു അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നില്ല.

4. Will these evildoers never learn? They devour my people as they devour bread; they do not call upon the LORD.

5. അവര് അവിടെ അത്യന്തം ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ തലമുറയില് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

5. They have good reason, then, to fear; God is with the company of the just.

6. നിങ്ങള് ദരിദ്രന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ അവന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.

6. They would crush the hopes of the poor, but the poor have the LORD as their refuge.

7. സീയോനില്നിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രക്ഷവന്നെങ്കില്! യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റുമ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സന്തോഷിക്കയും യിസ്രായേല് ആനന്ദിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

7. Oh, that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, That Jacob may rejoice, and Israel be glad when the LORD restores his people!
