1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

2. Mi merci, and my refuyt; my takere vp, and my delyuerer. Mi defender, and Y hopide in him; and thou makist suget my puple vnder me.

3. എന്റെ ദയയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ പരിചയും ഞാന് ശരണമാക്കിയവനും എന്റെ ജനത്തെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കിത്തരുന്നവനും അവന് തന്നേ.

4. യഹോവേ, മനുഷ്യനെ നീ ഗണ്യമാക്കുവാന് അവന് എന്തു? മര്ത്യപുത്രനെ നീ വിചാരിപ്പാന് അവന് എന്തുമാത്രം?

6. യഹോവേ, ആകാശം ചായിച്ചു ഇറങ്ങിവരേണമേ; പര്വ്വതങ്ങള് പുകയുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവയെ തൊടേണമേ.

7. മിന്നലിനെ അയച്ചു അവരെ ചിതറിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങള് എയ്തു അവരെ തോല്പിക്കേണമേ.

7. Sende out thin hond fro an hiy, rauysche thou me out, and delyuere thou me fro many watris; and fro the hond of alien sones.

8. ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു തൃക്കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; പെരുവെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നും അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ!

11. And delyuere thou me fro `the hond of alien sones; the mouth of whiche spak vanyte, and the riythond of hem is the riyt hond of wickidnesse.

12. അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; അവരുടെ വായ് ഭോഷകു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ വലങ്കൈ വ്യാജമുള്ള വലങ്കയ്യാകുന്നു.

15. ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാളകള് ചുമടു ചുമക്കട്ടെ; മതില് തകര്ക്കുംന്നതും പടെക്കു പുറപ്പെടുന്നതും ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീഥികളില് നിലവിളിയും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
