1. ദേവന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് വാസ്തവമായി നീതി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നുവോ? മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് പരമാര്ത്ഥമായി വിധിക്കുന്നുവോ?

1. Yf youre myndes be vpon rightuousnesse in dede, then iudge the thinge that is right, o ye sonnes of men.

2. നിങ്ങള് ഹൃദയത്തില് ദുഷ്ടത പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയില് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ നിഷ്ഠുരത തൂക്കിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

2. But ye ymagin myschefe in youre hertes, and youre hondes deale with wickednesse.

3. ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് ഗര്ഭംമുതല് ഭ്രഷ്ടന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് ജനനംമുതല് ഭോഷകു പറഞ്ഞു തെറ്റി നടക്കുന്നു.

3. The vngodly are frowarde, eue from their mothers wombe: as soone as they be borne, they go astraie & speake lyes.

4. അവരുടെ വിഷം സര്പ്പവിഷംപോലെ; അവര് ചെവിയടഞ്ഞ പൊട്ടയണലിപോലെയാകുന്നു.

4. They are as furious as the serpent, euen like the deaf Adder that stoppeth hir eares.

5. എത്ര സാമര്ത്ഥ്യത്തോടെ മന്ത്രം ചൊല്ലിയാലും മന്ത്രവാദികളുടെ വാക്കു അതു കേള്ക്കയില്ല.

5. That she shulde not heare the voyce of the charmer, charme he neuer so wysely.

6. ദൈവമേ, അവരുടെ വായിലെ പല്ലുകളെ തകര്ക്കേണമേ; യഹോവേ, ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളുടെ അണപ്പല്ലുകളെ തകര്ത്തുകളയേണമേ.

6. Breake their teth (o God) in their mouthes, smyte the chaft bones of the lyons whelpes in sonder, o LORDE.

7. ഒഴുകിപ്പോകുന്ന വെള്ളംപോലെ അവര് ഉരുകിപ്പോകട്ടെ. അവന് തന്റെ അമ്പുകളെ തൊടുക്കുമ്പോള് അവ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോയതുപോലെ ആകട്ടെ.

7. That they maye fall awaye, like water yt runneth a pace: and that when they shote their arowes, they maye be broke.

11. ആകയാല്നീതിമാന്നു പ്രതിഫലം ഉണ്ടു നിശ്ചയം; ഭൂമിയില് ന്യായംവിധിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ദൈവം ഉണ്ടു നിശ്ചയം എന്നു മനുഷ്യര് പറയും. (സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; നശിപ്പിക്കരുതേ എന്ന രാഗത്തില്; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സ്വര്ണ്ണഗീതം. അവനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു ശൌല് അയച്ചു ആളുകള് വീടു കാത്തിരുന്ന കാലത്തു ചമെച്ചതു.)
