1. ദൈവമേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായും സ്വസ്ഥമായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.

1. Holde not thy tonge (o God) kepe not still sylece,, refrayne not yi self, o God.

2. ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് കലഹിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് തല ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു.

2. For lo, thy enemies make a murmuringe, & they yt hate the, lift vp their heade.

3. അവര് നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉപായം വിചാരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഗുപ്തന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

3. They ymagin craftely agaynst thy people, & take councell agaynst thy secrete ones.

4. വരുവിന് , യിസ്രായേല് ഒരു ജാതിയായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നാം അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളക. അവരുടെ പേര് ഇനി ആരും ഔര്ക്കരുതു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

5. അവര് ഇങ്ങനെ ഐകമത്യത്തോടെ ആലോചിച്ചു, നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി സഖ്യത ചെയ്യുന്നു.

11. അവരുടെ കുലീനന്മാരെ ഔരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും സേബഹ്, സല്മൂന്നാ എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

13. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റത്തു പാറുന്ന പതിര്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

13. O my God, make them like vnto a whele, and as the stuble before the wynde.

14. വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീപോലെയും പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ ചുട്ടുകളയുന്ന അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെയും

14. Like as a fyre that burneth vp the wodd, & as the flame that consumeth the mountaynes.

15. നിന്റെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പിന്തുടരേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

15. Persecute them euen so with thy tempest, & make them afrayed with thy storme.

16. യഹോവേ, അവര് തിരുനാമത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ ലജ്ജാപൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കേണമേ.

16. Make their faces ashamed (o LORDE) yt they maye seke thy name.

17. അവര് എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിക്കയും നാണിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

17. Let the be cofounded & vexed euer more & more: Let the be put to shame & perish.

18. അങ്ങനെ അവര് യഹോവ എന്നു നാമമുള്ള നീ മാത്രം സര്വ്വഭൂമിക്കുംമീതെ അത്യുന്നതന് എന്നു അറിയും. (സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ഗഥ്യരാഗത്തില്; കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.)

18. That they maye knowe, that thou art alone, that thy name is the LORDE, and that thou only art the most hyest ouer all the earth.
