1. ദൈവമേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായും സ്വസ്ഥമായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.

1. A Song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God do not keep silence to Yourself; do not be speechless; yea, do not be still, O God.

2. ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് കലഹിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് തല ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു.

2. For lo, Your enemies are roaring; and those who hate You have lifted up their head.

3. അവര് നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉപായം വിചാരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഗുപ്തന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

3. They take shrewd counsel against Your people; they plot against Your hidden ones.

4. വരുവിന് , യിസ്രായേല് ഒരു ജാതിയായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നാം അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളക. അവരുടെ പേര് ഇനി ആരും ഔര്ക്കരുതു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

4. They have said, Come, and we will cut them off from being a nation; and, The name of Israel will not be recalled again.

5. അവര് ഇങ്ങനെ ഐകമത്യത്തോടെ ആലോചിച്ചു, നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി സഖ്യത ചെയ്യുന്നു.

5. For they plotted together with one heart; they have cut a covenant against You;

6. ഏദോമ്യരുടെയും യിശ്മായേല്യരുടെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളും മോവാബ്യരും ഹഗര്യ്യരും കൂടെ,

6. even the tents of Edom, and of the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites;

7. ഗെബാലും അമ്മോനും അമാലേക്കും, ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും സോര്നിവാസികളും;

7. Gebal and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia and those living in Tyre.

8. അശ്ശൂരും അവരോടു യോജിച്ചു; അവര് ലോത്തിന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നു സേലാ.

8. Also Assyria has joined with them; they were an arm to the sons of Lot. Selah.

9. മിദ്യാന്യരോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; കീശോന് തോട്ടിങ്കല്വെച്ചു സീസരയോടും യാബീനോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

9. Do to them as to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin at the torrent Kishon.

10. അവര് എന് ദോരില്വെച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോയി; അവര് നിലത്തിന്നു വളമായി തീര്ന്നു.

10. At Endor they were destroyed; they became dung for the ground.

11. അവരുടെ കുലീനന്മാരെ ഔരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും സേബഹ്, സല്മൂന്നാ എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

11. Make their nobles as Oreb and Zeeb, and all their rulers like Zebah and Zalmunna;

12. നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളുക എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

12. who said, Let us take possession of God's pastures for ourselves.

13. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റത്തു പാറുന്ന പതിര്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

13. O my God, make them as whirling dust, as the stubble before the wind.

14. വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീപോലെയും പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ ചുട്ടുകളയുന്ന അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെയും

14. As the fire burns a forest, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire,

15. നിന്റെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പിന്തുടരേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

15. so pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm.

16. യഹോവേ, അവര് തിരുനാമത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ ലജ്ജാപൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കേണമേ.

16. Fill their faces with shame and they will seek Your name, O Jehovah.

17. അവര് എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിക്കയും നാണിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

17. Let them be ashamed and afraid for ever; yea, let them be confounded and perish.

18. And let them know Your name is Jehovah, that You alone are the Most High over all the earth.
