1. യഹോവ മോശെയോടുഞാന് ഫറവോനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നതു നീ ഇപ്പോള് കാണുംശക്തിയുള്ള കൈ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവന് അവരെ വിട്ടയക്കും; ശക്തിയുള്ള കൈ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവരെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

1. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

2. ദൈവം പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

2. And God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, 'I [am] Jehovah,

3. ഞാന് അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നും യാക്കോബിന്നും സര്വ്വശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായിട്ടു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; എന്നാല് യഹോവ എന്ന നാമത്തില് ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വെളിപ്പെട്ടില്ല.

3. and I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;

4. അവര് പരദേശികളായി പാര്ത്ത കനാന് ദേശം അവര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാന് അവരോടു ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. and also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

5. മിസ്രയീമ്യര് അടിമകളാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഞരക്കം ഞാന് കേട്ടു എന്റെ നിയമം ഔര്ത്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. and also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ ഊഴിയവേലയില്നിന്നു ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു അവരുടെ അടിമയില് നിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ വിടുവിക്കും; നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും മഹാശിക്ഷാവിധികള്കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.

6. 'Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I [am] Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

7. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ എനിക്കു ജനമാക്കിക്കൊള്കയും ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവമായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ ഊഴിയവേലയില്നിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാന് ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

7. and have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I [am] Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

8. ഞാന് അബ്രാഹാമിന്നും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നും യാക്കോബിന്നും നലകുമെന്നു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവകാശമായി തരും.

8. and I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you -- a possession; I [am] Jehovah.'

9. ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. മോശെ ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞുഎന്നാല് അവര് മനോവ്യസനംകൊണ്ടും കഠിനമായ അടിമവേലകൊണ്ടും മോശെയുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടില്ല.

9. And Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

10. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

10. And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

11. നീ ചെന്നു മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു വിട്ടയപ്പാന് പറക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

11. 'Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;

12. അതിന്നു മോശെയിസ്രായേല് മക്കള് എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടില്ല; പിന്നെ ഫറവോന് എങ്ങനെ കേള്ക്കും? ഞാന് വാഗ്വൈഭവമുള്ളവനല്ലല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് പറഞ്ഞു.

12. and Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, 'Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'

13. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും മിസ്രയീം രാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും നിയോഗിച്ചയച്ചു.

13. And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

14. അവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാര് ആരെന്നാല്യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രൂബേന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ഹനോക്, ഫല്ലൂ ഹെസ്രോന് , കര്മ്മി; ഇവ രൂബേന്റെ കുലങ്ങള്.

14. These [are] heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel [are] Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these [are] families of Reuben.

15. ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്യെമൂവേല്, യാമീന് , ഔഹദ്, യാഖീന് , സോഹര്, കനാന്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകനായ ശൌല്; ഇവ ശിമെയോന്റെ കുലങ്ങള്.

15. And sons of Simeon [are] Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these [are] families of Simeon.

16. വംശപാരമ്പര്യപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകള് ഇവഗേര്ശോന് , കഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി; ലേവിയുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലം നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തേഴു സംവത്സരം ആയിരുന്നു.

16. And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi [are] a hundred and thirty and seven years.

17. ഗേര്ശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്കുടുംബസഹിതം ലിബ്നിയും ശിമെയിയും ആയിരുന്നു.

17. The sons of Gershon [are] Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.

18. കഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാര്, ഹെബ്രോന് , ഉസ്സീയേല്; കഹാത്തിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തുമൂന്നു സംവത്സരം.

18. And the sons of Kohath [are] Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath [are] a hundred and thirty and three years.

19. മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്; മഹ്ളി, മൂശി, ഇവര് വംശപാരമ്പര്യപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ കുലങ്ങള് ആകുന്നു.

19. And the sons of Merari [are] Mahli and Mushi: these [are] families of Levi, as to their births.

20. അമ്രാം തന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ യോഖേബെദിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു; അവള് അവന്നു അഹരോനെയും മോശെയെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു; അമ്രാമിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം നൂറ്റി മുപ്പത്തേഴു സംവത്സരം ആയിരുന്നു.

20. And Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram [are] a hundred and thirty and seven years.

21. യിസ്ഹാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്കോരഹ്, നേഫെഗ്, സിക്രി.

21. And sons of Izhar [are] Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22. ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്മീശായേല്, എല്സാഫാന് , സിത്രി.

22. And sons of Uzziel [are] Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

23. അഹരോന് അമ്മീ നാദാബിന്റെ മകളും നഹശോന്റെ സഹോദരിയുമായ എലീശേബയെ ഭാര്യയായി പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവള് അവന്നു നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാര്, ഈഥാമാര് എന്നിവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.

23. And Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

24. കോരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്, അസ്സൂര്, എല്ക്കാനാ അബിയാസാഫ് ഇവ കോരഹ്യകുലങ്ങള്.

24. And sons of Korah [are] Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these [are] families of the Korhite.

25. അഹരോന്റെ മകനായ എലെയാസാര് ഫൂതീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരില് ഒരുത്തിയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. അവള് അവന്നു ഫീനെഹാസിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു; ഇവര് കുലം കുലമായി ലേവ്യകുടുംബത്തലവന്മാര് ആകുന്നു.

25. And Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him [one] of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

26. നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ ഗണം ഗണമായി മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പിന് എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച അഹരോനും മോശെയും ഇവര് തന്നേ.

26. This [is] Aaron -- and Moses -- to whom Jehovah said, 'Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'

27. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാന് മിസ്രയീം രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു സംസാരിച്ചവര് ഈ മോശെയും അഹരോനും തന്നേ.

27. these are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this [is] Moses -- and Aaron.

28. യഹോവ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നാളില്ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു;

28. And it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

29. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു പറയേണം എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

29. that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, 'I [am] Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'

30. അതിന്നു മോശെഞാന് വാഗൈ്വഭവമില്ലാത്തവന് ; ഫറവോന് എന്റെ വാക്കു എങ്ങനെ കേള്ക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് പറഞ്ഞു.

30. And Moses saith before Jehovah, 'Lo, I [am] of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'
