1. അന്നാളില് അവര് യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു ഈ പാട്ടു പാടുംനമുക്കു ബലമുള്ളോരു പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടു; അവന് രക്ഷയെ മതിലുകളും കൊത്തളങ്ങളും ആക്കിവെക്കുന്നു.

1. In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; salvation he will appoint for walls and bulwarks.

5. For he has brought down those who dwell on high, the lofty city: he lays it low, he lays it low even to the ground; he brings it even to the dust.

6. കാല് അതിനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; എളിയവരുടെ കാലുകളും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ കാലടികളും തന്നേ.

6. The foot will tread it down; even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

7. The way of the just is uprightness: you who are upright direct the path of the just.

8. അതേ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികളുടെ പാതയില് ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായിട്ടും നിന്റെ സ്മരണക്കായിട്ടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

8. Yes, in the way of your judgments, O Yahweh, we have waited for you; to your name, even to your memorial [name], is the desire of our soul.

9. എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് രാത്രിയില് നിന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഉള്ളില് എന്റെ ആത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാന് ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് ഭൂമിയില് നടക്കുമ്പോള് ഭൂവാസികള് നീതിയെ പഠിക്കും.

9. With my soul I have desired you in the night; yes, with my spirit inside me I will seek you earnestly: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

10. ദുഷ്ടന്നു കൃപ കാണിച്ചാലും അവന് നീതി പഠിക്കയില്ല; നേരുള്ള ദേശത്തു അവന് അന്യായം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം അവന് കാണുകയുമില്ല.

10. Let favor be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he will deal wrongfully, and will not see the splendor of Yahweh.

11. Yahweh, your hand is lifted up, yet they don't see: but they will see [your] zeal for the people, and be put to shame; yes, fire will devour your adversaries.

13. O Yahweh our God, other lords besides you have had dominion over us; but by you only we will make mention of your name.

15. You have increased the nation, O Yahweh, you have increased the nation; you are glorified; you have enlarged all the borders of the land.

16. യഹോവേ, കഷ്ടതയില് അവര് നിന്നെ നോക്കുകയും നിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവര്ക്കും തട്ടിയപ്പോള് ജപംകഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

16. Yahweh, in trouble they have visited you; they poured out a prayer [when] your chastening was on them.

17. Like a woman pregnant, that draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain and cries out in her pangs; so we have been before you, O Yahweh.

18. We have been pregnant, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we haven't wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

19. നിന്റെ മൃതന്മാര് ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശവങ്ങള് എഴുന്നേലക്കും; പൊടിയില് കിടക്കുന്നവരേ, ഉണര്ന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് ; നിന്റെ മഞ്ഞു പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി പ്രേതന്മാരെ പ്രസവിക്കുമല്ലോ.

19. Your dead will live; my dead bodies will arise. Awake and sing, you+ who stay in the dust; for your dew is [as] the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast forth the spirits of the dead.

20. എന്റെ ജനമേ, വന്നു നിന്റെ അറകളില് കടന്നു വാതിലുകളെ അടെക്ക; ക്രോധം കടന്നുപോകുവോളം അല്പനേരത്തേക്കു ഒളിച്ചിരിക്ക.

20. Come, my people, enter into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself for a little moment, until the indignation has passed by.

21. For, look, Yahweh comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also will disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain.
