1. അനന്തരം അവന് ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിച്ചും സുവിശേഷിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു പട്ടണംതോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

1. And it came to passe afterwarde, that he him selfe wet throughout euery citie & towne preachyng, & shewyng the kingdome of god, & the twelue with hym.

2. അവനോടുകൂടെ പന്തിരുവരും അവന് ദുരാത്മാക്കളെയും വ്യാധികളെയും നീക്കി സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തിയ ചില സ്ത്രീകളും ഏഴു ഭൂതങ്ങള് വിട്ടുപോയ മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും

2. And also certayne women, which were healed of euyll spirites, and infirmities, Marie which is called Magdalene, out of whom went seuen deuyls.

3. ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരകനായ കൂസയുടെ ഭാര്യ യോഹന്നയും ശൂശന്നയും തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്തുവകകൊണ്ടു അവര്ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തു പോന്ന മറ്റു പല സ്ത്രികളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

3. And Ioanna the wyfe of Chusa Herodes stewarde, and Susanna, & many other which ministred vnto hym of their substaunce.

4. പിന്നെ വലിയോരു പുരുഷാരവും ഔരോ പട്ടണത്തില്നിന്നു അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നവരും ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടിയപ്പോള് അവന് ഉപമയായി പറഞ്ഞതുവിതെക്കുന്നവന് വിത്തു വിതെപ്പാന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

4. When much people were gathered together, & were come to hym out of all cities, he spake by a similitude.

5. വിതെക്കുമ്പോള് ചിലതു വഴിയരികെ വീണിട്ടു ചവിട്ടിപ്പോകയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവജാതി അതിനെ തിന്നുകളകയും ചെയ്തു.

5. The sower wet out to sowe his seede: and as he sowed, some fell by the way syde, and it was troden downe, and the foules of the ayre deuoured it vp.

6. മറ്റു ചിലതു പാറമേല് വീണു മുളെച്ചു നനവില്ലായ്കയാല് ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

6. And some fell on stones, and assoone as it was sprong vp, it withered away, because it lacked moystnes.

7. മറ്റു ചിലതു മുള്ളിന്നിടയില് വീണു; മുള്ളുംകൂടെ മുളെച്ചു അതിനെ ഞെരുക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

7. And some fell among thornes, and the thornes sprang vp with it, and choked it.

8. മറ്റു ചിലതു നല്ല നിലത്തു വീണു മുളെച്ചു നൂറുമേനി ഫലം കൊടുത്തു. ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുകേള്പ്പാന് ചെവി ഉള്ളവന് കേള്ക്കട്ടെ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. And some fell on good grounde, and sprang vp, and bare fruite, an hundred folde. And as he sayde these thynges, he cryed: He that hath eares to heare, let hym heare.

9. അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര് അവനോടു ഈ ഉപമ എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതു

9. And his disciples asked hym, saying what maner of similitude is this?

10. ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്റെ മര്മ്മങ്ങളെ അറിവാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വരം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ശേഷമുള്ളവര്ക്കോ കണ്ടിട്ടും കാണാതിരിപ്പാനും, കേട്ടിട്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാതിരിപ്പാനും ഉപമകളിലത്രേ.
യെശയ്യാ 6:9-10

10. And he sayde, Unto you it is geuen to knowe the secretes of the kyngdome of God: but to other by parables, that when they see, they shoulde not see, and when they heare, they shoulde not vnderstande.

11. ഉപമയുടെ പൊരുളോവിത്തു ദൈവവചനം;

11. The parable is this. The seede, is the worde of God.

12. വഴിയരികെയുള്ളവര് കേള്ക്കുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും അവര് വിശ്വസിച്ചു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാന് പിശാചു വന്നു അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് നിന്നു വചനം എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.

12. Those that are besyde the way, are they that heare: then commeth the deuyll, and taketh away the worde out of their heartes, lest they shoulde beleue, and be saued.

13. പാറമേലുള്ളവരോ കേള്ക്കുമ്പോള് വചനം സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും അവര്ക്കും വേരില്ല; അവര് തല്ക്കാലം വിശ്വസിക്കയും പരീക്ഷാസമയത്തു പിന് വാങ്ങിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

13. They on the stones, [are they] which when they heare, receaue the worde with ioy: & these haue no rootes, which for a whyle beleue, and in tyme of temptation go away.

14. മുള്ളിന്നിടയില് വീണതോ കേള്ക്കുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും പോയി ചിന്തകളാലും ധനത്താലും സംസാരഭോഗങ്ങളാലും ഞെരുങ്ങി പൂര്ണ്ണമായി ഫലം കൊടുക്കാത്തവരത്രേ.

14. And that which fell among thornes, are they, which whe they haue hearde, go foorth, and are choked with cares & ryches, and voluptuous lyuyng, & bring foorth no fruite.

15. നല്ല മണ്ണിലുള്ളതോ വചനം കേട്ടു ഗുണമുള്ള നല്ല ഹൃദയത്തില് സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു ക്ഷമയോടെ ഫലം കൊടുക്കുന്നവര് തന്നേ.

15. But that [which fell] on ye good groude, are they, which with a pure and good hearte heare the worde, and kepe it, and bryng foorth fruite through pacience.

16. വിളകൂ കൊളുത്തീട്ടു ആരും അതിനെ പാത്രംകൊണ്ടു മൂടുകയോ കട്ടില്ക്കീഴെ വെക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അകത്തു വരുന്നവര് വെളിച്ചം കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു തണ്ടിന്മേല് അത്രേ വെക്കുന്നതു.

16. No man when he lyghteth a candel, couereth it with a vessell, or putteth it vnder a table, but setteth it on a candlesticke, that they which enter in, may see the lyght.

17. വെളിപ്പെടാതെ ഗൂഢമായതു ഒന്നുമില്ല; പ്രസിദ്ധമായി വെളിച്ചത്തു വരാതെ മറവായിരിക്കുന്നതും ഒന്നുമില്ല.

17. For nothyng is secrete, that shall not come abrode: Neither any thyng hyd, that shall not be knowen, and come to lyght.

18. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് എങ്ങനെ കേള്ക്കുന്നു എന്നു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് . ഉള്ളവന്നു കിട്ടും; ഇല്ലാത്തവനോടോ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നതും കൂടെ എടുത്തുകളയും.

18. Take heede therfore, howe ye heare. For whosoeuer hath, to hym shalbe geuen: And whosoeuer hath not, from hym shalbe take, euen that same which he supposeth that he hath.

19. അവന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും

19. Then came to hym his mother and his brethren, and coulde not come at hym for prease.

20. അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു, പുരുഷാരം നിമിത്തം അവനോടു അടുപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. നിന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും നിന്നെ കാണ്മാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പുറത്തു നിലക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചിലര് അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

20. And it was tolde hym [by certayne] which sayde: Thy mother and thy brethren stande without, & woulde see thee.

21. അവരോടു അവന് എന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ദൈവ വചനം കേട്ടു ചെയ്യുന്നവരത്രേ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

21. He aunswered, and sayde vnto them: My mother & my brethren are these, which heare the worde of God, & do it.

22. ഒരു ദിവസം അവന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി പടകില് കയറി; നാം തടാകത്തിന്റെ അക്കരെ പോക എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

22. And it came to passe on a certayne day, that he went into a shippe, and his disciples also: and he sayde vnto them, Let vs go ouer vnto the other syde of the lake.

23. അവര് നീക്കി ഔടുമ്പോള് അവന് ഉറങ്ങിപ്പോയി

23. And they lauched foorth: But as they sayled he fell a slepe, and there came downe a storme on the lake, and they were fylled [with water], and were in ieoperdie.

24. തടാകത്തില് ഒരു ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു ഉണ്ടായി പടകില് വെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവര് പ്രാണഭയത്തിലായി അടുക്കെ ചെന്നുനാഥാ, നാഥാ, ഞങ്ങള് നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ഉണര്ത്തി; അവന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു കാറ്റിനെയും വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ കോപത്തെയും ശാസിച്ചു; അവ അമര്ന്നു ശാന്തത ഉണ്ടായി. പിന്നെ അവരോടു
പുറപ്പാടു് 8:4

24. And they came to hym, and awoke hym, saying: Maister, Maister, we are lost. Then he arose, and rebuked the wynde, & the tempest of water, and they ceassed, and it waxed calme.

25. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം എവിടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവരോ ഭയപ്പെട്ടുഇവന് ആര്? അവന് കാറ്റിനോടും വെള്ളത്തോടും കല്പിക്കയും അവ അനുസരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു തമ്മില് പറഞ്ഞു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.
യെശയ്യാ 52:14

25. And he sayde vnto them: Where is your fayth? And they feared, and wondred among them selues, saying: Who is this? For he commaundeth both the wyndes & water, and they obey hym.

26. അവര് ഗലീലകൂ നേരെയുള്ള ഗെരസേന്യ ദേശത്തു അണഞ്ഞു.

26. And they sayled vnto the region of the Gadarenites, which is ouer agaynst Galilee.

27. അവന് കരെക്കു ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോള് ബഹുകാലമായി ഭൂതങ്ങള് ബാധിച്ചോരു മനുഷ്യന് പട്ടണത്തില് നിന്നു വന്നു എതിര്പെട്ടു; അവന് ബഹുകാലമായി വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കാതെയും വീട്ടില് പാര്ക്കാതെയും ശവക്കല്ലറകളില് അത്രേ ആയിരുന്നു.

27. And when he went out to lande, there met hym out of the citie a certayne man, which had deuyls long tyme, and ware no clothes, neither abode in [any] house: but in graues.

28. അവന് യേശുവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു നിലവിളിച്ചു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചുയേശുവേ, മഹോന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പുത്രാ, എനിക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മില് എന്തു? എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കരുതേ എന്നു ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.

28. When he sawe Iesus, and had cryed, he fell downe before hym, and with a loude voyce sayde: What haue I to do with thee Iesus, thou sonne of God most hyest? I beseche thee torment me not.

29. അവന് അശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനോടു ആ മനുഷ്യനെ വിട്ടുപോകുവാന് കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതു വളരെ കാലമായി അവനെ ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നു; അവനെ ചങ്ങലയും വിലങ്ങും ഇട്ടു ബന്ധിച്ചു സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നിട്ടും അവന് ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ തകര്ക്കയും ഭൂതം അവനെ കാടുകളിലേക്കു ഔടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

29. (For he commaunded the foule spirite to come out of the man: For oftentymes he had caught him, and he was bounde with chaynes, and kept with fetters: & he brake the bandes, and was caryed of the fiende into wildernesse.)

30. യേശു അവനോടുനിന്റെ പേര് എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അനേകം ഭൂതങ്ങള് അവനെ ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു; ലെഗ്യോന് എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

30. And Iesus asked hym, saying: What is thy name? And he sayde, Legion: because many deuyls were entred into hym.

31. പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു പോകുവാന് കല്പിക്കരുതു എന്നു അവ അവനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

31. And they besought hym, that he woulde not commaunde them, to go out into the deepe.

32. അവിടെ മലയില് വലിയൊരു പന്നിക്കൂട്ടം മേഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അവയില് കടപ്പാന് അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നു അവനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവന് അനുവാദം കൊടുത്തു.

32. And there was there, an hearde of many swyne, feedyng on an hyll: and they besought hym, that he woulde suffer them to enter into them: and he suffered them.

33. ഭൂതങ്ങള് ആ മനുഷ്യനെ വിട്ടു പന്നികളില് കടന്നപ്പോള് കൂട്ടം കടുന്തൂക്കത്തൂടെ തടാകഞ്ഞിലേക്കു പാഞ്ഞു വീര്പ്പുമുട്ടി ചത്തു.

33. Then went the deuyls out of the man, and entred into the swyne: And the heard ran headlong with violence into the lake, and were choked.

34. ഈ സംഭവിച്ചതു മേയക്കുന്നവര് കണ്ടിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോയി പട്ടണത്തിലും നാട്ടിലും അറിയിച്ചു.

34. When the heardmen sawe what was done, they fled: and when they were departed, they tolde it in the citie, & in the villages.

35. സംഭവിച്ചതു കാണ്മാന് അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടു യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു, ഭൂതങ്ങള് വിട്ടുപോയ മനുഷ്യന് വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചും സുബോധം പൂണ്ടും യേശുവിന്റെ കാല്ക്കല് ഇരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.

35. Therfore they came out to see what was done, and came to Iesus, & founde the man out of whom the deuyls were departed, sittyng at the feete of Iesus, clothed, & in his ryght mynde, and they were afrayde.

36. ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തന്നു സൌഖ്യം വന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു കണ്ടവര് അവരോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

36. They also which sawe it, tolde them by what meanes he that was possessed of the deuyls, was healed.

37. ഗെരസേന്യ ദേശത്തിലെ ജനസമൂഹം എല്ലാം ഭയപരവശരായി തങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകേണം എന്നു അവനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവന് പടകുകയറി മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.

37. Then the whole multitude of the countrey about the Gadarenites, besought hym that he woulde departe from them, for they were taken with great feare. And he gat hym vp into the shippe, and returned backe agayne.

38. ഭൂതങ്ങള് വിട്ടുപോയ ആള് അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിപ്പാന് അനുവാദം ചോദിച്ചു.

38. Then the man out of whom the deuyls were departed, besought hym that he myght be with hym. But Iesus sent hym away, saying:

40. യേശു മടങ്ങിവന്നപ്പോള് പുരുഷാരം അവനെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു; അവര് എല്ലാവരും അവന്നായിട്ടു കാത്തിരിക്കയായിരുന്നു.

40. And it came to passe, yt when Iesus was come agayne, the people receaued hym: For they all wayted for hym.

41. അപ്പോള് പള്ളിപ്രമാണിയായ യായീറൊസ് എന്നുപേരുള്ളോരു മനുഷ്യന് വന്നു യേശുവിന്റെ കാല്ക്കല് വീണു.

41. And behold, ther came a man named Iairus, & he was a ruler of ye synagoge, & he fell downe at Iesus feete, praying him that he would come into his house:

42. അവന്നു ഏകദേശം പന്ത്രണ്ടു വയസ്സുള്ള ഏകജാതയായോരു മകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവള് മരിപ്പാറായതു കൊണ്ടു തന്റെ വീട്ടില് വരേണം എന്നു അവനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവന് പോകുമ്പോള് പുരുഷാരം അവനെ തിക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

42. For he had but one daughter only, vpon a twelue yeres of age, and she lay a dying. (But as he went, the people thronged hym.

43. അന്നു പന്ത്രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായി രക്തസ്രവമുള്ളവളും മുതല് എല്ലാം വൈദ്യന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തിട്ടും ആരാലും സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തുവാന് കഴിയാത്തവളുമായോരു സ്ത്രീ

43. And a woman, hauyng an issue of blood twelue yeres, which had spent all her substaunce vpon phisitions, neither coulde be holpen of any,

44. പുറകില് അടുത്തു ചെന്നു അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ തൊങ്ങല് തൊട്ടു ഉടനെ അവളുടെ രക്തസ്രവം നിന്നുപോയി.

44. Came behynde hym, and touched the hemme of his rayment: and immediatly her issue of blood staunched.

45. എന്നെ തൊട്ടതു ആര് എന്നു യേശു ചോദിച്ചു. എല്ലാവരും ഞാനല്ല, ഞാനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്ഗുരോ, പുരുഷാരം നിന്നെ തിക്കിത്തിരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പത്രൊസും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും പറഞ്ഞു.

45. And Iesus sayde: Who is it that touched me? Whe euery man denyed, Peter and they that were with hym, sayde: Maister, the people thrust thee, and vexe thee, and sayest thou, who touched me?

46. യേശുവോഒരാള് എന്നെ തൊട്ടു; എങ്കല്നിന്നു ശക്തി പുറപ്പെട്ടതു ഞാന് അറിഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

46. And Iesus sayde, Some body hath touched me: For I perceaue that vertue is gone out of me.

47. താന് മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു സ്ത്രീകണ്ടു വിറെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു വന്നു അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് വീണു, അവനെ തൊട്ട സംഗതിയും തല്ക്ഷണം സൌഖ്യമായതും സകലജനവും കേള്ക്കെ അറിയിച്ചു.

47. When the woman sawe that she was not hyd, she came trembling, and fell [at his feete] and tolde him before al the people, for what cause she had touched him, and howe she was healed immediatly.

48. അവന് അവളോടുമകളേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനത്തോടെ പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

48. And he sayde vnto her: Daughter, be of good comfort, thy fayth hath saued thee, go in peace.)

49. അവന് സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ പള്ളിപ്രമാണിയുടെ ഒരാള് വന്നുനിന്റെ മകള് മരിച്ചുപോയി; ഗുരുവിനെ പ്രയാസപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

49. Whyle he yet spake, there came one from the ruler of the synagogues house, which sayde to hym: Thy daughter is dead, disease not the Maister.

50. യേശു അതുകേട്ടാറെഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ, വിശ്വസിക്കമാത്രം ചെയ്ക; എന്നാല് അവള് രക്ഷപ്പെടും എന്നു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

50. But when Iesus hearde that worde, he aunswered him, saying: Feare not, beleue only, & she shalbe made whole.

51. വീട്ടില് എത്തിയാറെ പത്രൊസ്, യോഹന്നാന് , യാക്കോബ് എന്നവരെയും ബാലയുടെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും അല്ലാതെ ആരെയും അവന് തന്നോടുകൂടെ അകത്തു വരുവാന് സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല.

51. And when he came to the house, he suffered no man to go in with hym, saue Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and the father and the mother of the mayden.

52. എല്ലാവരും അവളെച്ചൊല്ലി കരകയും മുറയിടുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്കരയേണ്ടാ, അവള് മരിച്ചില്ല, ഉറങ്ങുന്നത്രേ എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

52. Euery body wept, & sorowed for her. And he sayde: Weepe not, the damsell is not dead, but slepeth.

53. അവരോ അവള് മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു അറികകൊണ്ടു അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു.

53. And they laughed hym to scorne, knowyng that she was dead.

54. എന്നാല് അവന് അവളുടെ കൈകൂ പിടിച്ചു; ബാലേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്ക എന്നു അവളോടു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.

54. And he thrust them all out, and toke her by the hande, and cryed, saying: Mayde, aryse.

55. അവളുടെ ആത്മാവു മടങ്ങിവന്നു, അവള് ഉടനെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു; അവള്ക്കു ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുപ്പാന് അവന് കല്പിച്ചു.

55. And her spirite came agayne, and she rose straightway: And he commaunded to geue her meate.

56. അവളുടെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാര് വിസ്മയിച്ചു. സംഭവിച്ചതു ആരോടും പറയരുതു എന്നു അവന് അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

56. And the father and the mother of her, were astonyed: But he warned the that they should tel no man what was done.
