1. അവന് പന്തിരുവരെ അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചു, സകല ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെമേലും വ്യാധികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുവാനും അവര്ക്കും ശക്തിയും അധികാരവും കൊടുത്തു;

1. Iesus called the twelue together, and gaue the power and aucthoritie ouer al deuils, and that they might heale diseases.

2. ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിപ്പാനും രോഗികള്ക്കു സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തുവാനും അവരെ അയച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു

2. And he sent them to preache the kyngdome of God, and to heale the sicke.

3. വഴിക്കു വടിയും പൊക്കണവും അപ്പവും പണവും ഒന്നും എടുക്കരുതു; രണ്ടു ഉടുപ്പും അരുതു.

3. And he saide vnto the: Take nothing to your iourney, neither staues, nor scrippe, neither bread, neither money, neither haue two coates.

4. നിങ്ങള് ഏതു വീട്ടില് എങ്കിലും ചെന്നാല് അവിടം വിട്ടുപോകുംവരെ അവിടെത്തന്നെ പാര്പ്പിന് .

4. And whatsoeuer house ye enter into, there abyde, and thence depart.

5. ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാതിരുന്നാല് ആ പട്ടണം വിട്ടു അവരുടെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലില്നിന്നു പൊടി തട്ടിക്കളവിന് .

5. And whosoeuer wyll not receaue you, when ye go out of that citie, shake of the very dust from your feete, for a testimonie agaynst them.

6. അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടു എങ്ങും സുവിശേഷിച്ചും രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയും കൊണ്ടു ഊര്തോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

6. And they departed, and went through the townes, preachyng the Gospell, and healyng euerywhere.

7. സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു എല്ലാം ഇടപ്രഭുവായ ഹെരോദാവു കേട്ടു. യോഹന്നാന് മരിച്ചവരില് നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു ചിലരും ഏലീയാവു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി എന്നു ചിലരും പുരാതനപ്രവാചകന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു മറ്റുചിലരും പറക കൊണ്ടു ഹെരോദാവു ചഞ്ചലിച്ചു

7. And Herode the tetrarche heard of all that was done by hym, and doubted, because that it was sayde of some, that Iohn was rysen agayne from death:

8. യോഹന്നാനെ ഞാന് ശിരഃഛേദം ചെയ്തു; എന്നാല് ഞാന് ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളതു കേള്ക്കുന്ന ഇവന് ആര് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ കാണ്മാന് ശ്രമിച്ചു.

8. And of some, that Elias had appeared, and of some, that one of the olde prophetes was rysen agayne.

9. അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര് മടങ്ങിവന്നിട്ടു തങ്ങള് ചെയ്തതു ഒക്കെയും അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു. അവന് അവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു ബേത്ത്സയിദ എന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു തനിച്ചു വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

9. And Herode sayde, Iohn haue I beheaded, but who is this of who I heare such thinges? And he desired to see him.

10. അതു പുരുഷാരം അറിഞ്ഞു അവനെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു. അവന് അവരെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കയും രോഗശാന്തി വേണ്ടിയവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

10. And the apostles returned, & tolde him all that they had done. And he toke the and went aside into a solitarie place, nye vnto the citie that is called Bethsaida.

11. പകല് കഴിവാറായപ്പോള് പന്തിരുവര് അടുത്തുവന്നു അവനോടുഇവിടെ നാം മരുഭൂമിയില് ആയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു പുരുഷാരം ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഊരുകളിലും കുടികളിലും പോയി രാത്രി പാര്പ്പാനും ആഹാരം വാങ്ങുവാനും വേണ്ടി അവരെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

11. Which whe the people knew, they folowed him: And he receaued them, and spake vnto the of the kingdome of God, & healed the that had nede to be healed.

12. അവന് അവരോടുനിങ്ങള് തന്നേ അവര്ക്കും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാന് കൊടുപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നുഅഞ്ചപ്പവും രണ്ടുമീനും അല്ലാതെ അധികം ഞങ്ങളുടെ പക്കല് ഇല്ല; ഞങ്ങള് പോയി ഈ സകലജനത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി ഭോജ്യങ്ങള് കൊള്ളേണമോ എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

12. And when the day began to weare away, then came the twelue and sayde vnto hym: Sende the people awaye, that they may go into the townes and vyllages rounde about, and lodge, and get meate: for we are here in a place of wyldernesse.

13. ഏകദേശം അയ്യായിരം പുരുഷന്മാര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ അവര് തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുഅവരെ അമ്പതു വീതം പന്തിപന്തിയായി ഇരുത്തുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

13. But he said vnto them: Geue ye the to eate. And they said: We haue no mo but fyue loaues and two fisshes, excepte we should go & bye meate for al this people.

14. അവര് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു എല്ലാവരെയും ഇരുത്തി.

14. And they were about fyue thousande men. And he said to his disciples: Cause the to sit downe by fifties in a companie.

15. അവന് ആ അഞ്ചു അപ്പവും രണ്ടു മീനും എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കി അവയെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു നുറുക്കി പുരുഷാരത്തിന്നു വിളമ്പുവാന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില് കൊടുത്തു.

15. And they dyd so, and made them all to sit downe.

16. എല്ലാവരും തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി, ശേഷിച്ച കഷണം പന്ത്രണ്ടു കൊട്ട എടുത്തു.

16. And he toke the fyue loaues and the two fisshes, and loked vp to heauen, and blessed them, and brake, and gaue to the disciples to set before the people.

17. അവന് തനിച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് ശിഷ്യന്മാര് കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന് അവരോടുപുരുഷാരം എന്നെ ആരെന്നു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

17. And they dyd all eate, and were satisfied. And there was taken vp of that remayned to them, twelue baskettes full of broken meate.

18. യോഹന്നാന് സ്നാപകന് എന്നും ചിലര് ഏലീയാവു എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലര് പുരാതന പ്രവാചകന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നും പറയുന്നു എന്നു അവര് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

18. And it came to passe, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with hym, and he asked them, saying: Who say the people that I am?

19. അവന് അവരോടുഎന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ ആരെന്നു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുദൈവത്തിന്റെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു പത്രൊസ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

19. They aunswered and sayde, Iohn Baptist: some say, Elias: and some say that one of the olde prophetes is rysen.

20. ഇതു ആരോടും പറയരുതെന്നു അവന് അവരോടു അമര്ച്ചയായിട്ടു കല്പിച്ചു.

20. He sayde vnto them: But whom say ye that I am? [Simon] Peter aunswered, & saide: [Thou art] Christe, of God.

21. മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് പലതും സഹിക്കയും മൂപ്പന്മാര് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാര് ശാസ്ത്രികള് എന്നിവര് അവനെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലുകയും അവന് മൂന്നാം നാള് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്ക്കയും വേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21. And he warned & commaunded them, that they should tell no man that thing,

22. പിന്നെ അവന് എല്ലാവരോടും പറഞ്ഞതുഎന്നെ അനുഗമിപ്പാന് ഒരുത്തന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്നെത്താന് നിഷേധിച്ചു നാള്തോറും തന്റെ ക്രൂശ് എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കട്ടെ.

22. Saying: The sonne of man must suffer many thynges, and be reproued of the elders, and of the hye priestes and scribes, and be slayne, and ryse agayne the thirde day.

23. ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചാല് അതിനെ കളയും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ജീവനെ കളഞ്ഞാലോ അതിനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

23. And he said to the all: If any man wyl come after me, let him denie him selfe, & take vp his crosse dayly, & folowe me.

24. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് സര്വ്വലോകവും നേടീട്ടു തന്നെത്താന് നഷ്ടമാക്കിക്കളകയോ ചേതം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്താന് അവന്നു എന്തു പ്രയോജനം?

24. For whosoeuer wyl saue his lyfe, shal lose it: But whosoeuer shal lose his lyfe for my sake, the same shall saue it.

25. ആരെങ്കിലും എന്നെയും എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു നാണിച്ചാല് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് തന്റെയും പിതാവിന്റെയും വിശുദ്ധദൂതന്മാരുടെയും മഹത്വത്തില് വരുമ്പോള് നാണിക്കും.

25. For what auauntageth it a man yf he wynne the whole worlde, and lose hym selfe, or runne in daunger of hym selfe?

26. എന്നാല് ദൈവരാജ്യം കാണുവോളം മരണം ആസ്വദിക്കാത്തവര് ചിലര് ഇവിടെ നില്ക്കുന്നവരില് ഉണ്ടു സത്യം എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

26. For whosoeuer shalbe ashamed of me, and of my wordes, of hym shall the sonne of man be ashamed, whe he commeth in his maiestie, and in the maiestie of his father, and of the holy angels.

27. ഈ വാക്കുകളെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഏകദേശം എട്ടുനാള് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവന് പത്രൊസിനെയും യോഹന്നാനെയും യാക്കോബിനെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പാന് മലയില് കയറിപ്പോയി.

27. I tell you of a trueth, there be some standyng here, whiche shall not taste of death, tyl they see the kingdome of God.

28. അവന് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുമ്പോള് മുഖത്തിന്റെ ഭാവം മാറി, ഉടുപ്പു മിന്നുന്ന വെള്ളയായും തിര്ന്നു.

28. And it came to passe, about an eyght dayes after these sayinges, he toke Peter, and Iohn, and Iames, and went vp into a mountayne to pray.

29. രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാര് അവനോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു; മോശെയും ഏലീയാവും തന്നേ.

29. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenaunce was chaunged, & his garment was whyte, and shone.

30. അവര് തേജസ്സില് പ്രത്യക്ഷരായി അവന് യെരൂശലേമില് പ്രാപിപ്പാനുള്ള നിര്യാണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.

30. And beholde, there talked with hym two men, which were Moyses & Elias:

31. പത്രൊസും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും ഉറക്കത്താല് ഭാരപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു; ഉണര്ന്നശേഷം അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെയും അവനോടു കൂടെ നിലക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാരെയും കണ്ടു.

31. That appeared in the maiestie, & spake of his departyng, which he shoulde end at Hierusalem.

32. അവര് അവനെ വിട്ടുപിരിയുമ്പോള് പത്രൊസ് യേശുവിനോടുഗുരോ, നാം ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു; ഞങ്ങള് മൂന്നു കുടില് ഉണ്ടാക്കട്ടെ , ഒന്നു നിനക്കും ഒന്നു മോശെക്കും ഒന്നു ഏലീയാവിന്നും എന്നു താന് പറയുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിയാതെ പറഞ്ഞു.

32. But Peter, and they that were with him, were heauie with sleepe: and whe they awoke, they sawe his maiestie, and two men standyng with hym.

33. ഇതു പറയുമ്പോള് ഒരു മേഘം വന്നു അവരുടെമേല് നിഴലിട്ടു. അവര് മേഘത്തില് ആയപ്പോള് പേടിച്ചു.

33. And it came to passe, as they departed fro him, Peter said vnto Iesus: Maister it is good beyng here for vs, let vs make three tabernacles, one for thee, & one for Moyses, and one for Elias: and wyst not what he sayde.

34. മേഘത്തില്നിന്നുഇവന് എന്റെ പ്രിയപുത്രന് , ഇവന്നു ചെവികൊടുപ്പിന് എന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ടായി.

34. Whyle he thus spake, there came a cloude, and ouershadowed them, & they feared whe they wer come into ye cloude

35. ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ടായ നേരത്തു യേശുവിനെ തനിയേ കണ്ടു; അവര് കണ്ടതു ഒന്നും ആ നാളുകളില് ആരോടും അറിയിക്കാതെ മൌനമായിരുന്നു.

35. And there came a voyce out of the cloude, saying: this is my deare sonne, heare him.

36. പിറ്റെന്നാള് അവര് മലയില് നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി വന്നപ്പോള് ബഹുപുരുഷാരം അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു.

36. And assoone as the voyce was paste, Iesus was founde alone: and they kept it close, and tolde no man in those dayes any of those thynges which they hadde seene.

37. കൂട്ടത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരാള് നിലവിളിച്ചുഗുരോ, എന്റെ മകനെ കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അവന് എനിക്കു ഏകജാതന് ആകുന്നു.

37. And it came to passe, that on the next day, as they came downe from the hyll, much people met hym.

38. ഒരാത്മാവു അവനെ പിടിച്ചിട്ടു അവന് പൊടുന്നനവേ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അതു അവനെ നുരെപ്പിച്ചു പിടെപ്പിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവനെ ഞെരിച്ചിട്ടു പ്രയാസത്തോടെ വിട്ടുമാറുന്നു.

38. And beholde, a man of the companie cried out, saying: Maister, I besech thee behold my sonne, for he is all yt I haue:

39. അതിനെ പുറത്താക്കുവാന് നിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

39. And see, a spirite taketh hym, and sodenly he cryeth, and teareth hym, that he fometh agayne, & with much payne departeth from him, when he hath rent hym.

40. അതിന്നു യേശുഅവിശ്വാസവും കോട്ടവുമുള്ള തലമുറയേ, എത്രത്തോളം ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു നിങ്ങളെ സഹിക്കും? നിന്റെ മകനെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു;

40. And I besought thy disciples to cast hym out, and they coulde not.

41. അവന് വരുമ്പോള് തന്നേ ഭൂതം അവനെ തള്ളിയിട്ടു പിടെപ്പിച്ചു. യേശു അശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ ശാസിച്ചു ബാലനെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി, അപ്പനെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

41. Iesus aunswered, and saide: O faithlesse and croked nation, howe long shall I be with you, and shall suffer you? Bryng thy sonne hyther.

42. എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹിമയിങ്കല് വിസ്മയിച്ചു.

42. As he was yet a commyng, the fiende rent hym, and tare hym: And Iesus rebuked the vncleane spirite, and healed the chylde, and deliuered hym to his father.

43. യേശു ചെയ്യുന്നതില് ഒക്കെയും എല്ലാവരും ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുമ്പോള് അവന് തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുനിങ്ങള് ഈ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

43. And they were all amased at the mightie power of God: But whyle they wondred euery one at all thinges which he dyd, he sayde vnto his disciples,

44. ആ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

44. Let these sayinges sincke downe into your eares: For it wyll come to passe, that the sonne of man shalbe deliuered into the handes of men.

45. ആ വാക്കു അവര് ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല; അതു തിരിച്ചറിയാതവണ്ണം അവര്ക്കും മറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു; ആ വാക്കു സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പാന് അവര് ശങ്കിച്ചു.

45. But they wyst not what that worde meant, and it was hydde from them that they vnderstoode it not: And they feared to aske hym of that saying.

46. അവരില്വെച്ചു ആര് വലിയവന് എന്നു ഒരു വാദം അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നടന്നു.

46. Then there arose a disputatio among them, which of them should be the greatest.

47. യേശു അവരുടെ ഹൃദയവിചാരം കണ്ടു ഒരു ശിശുവിനെ എടുത്തു അരികെ നിറുത്തി

47. When Iesus perceaued the thought of their heartes, he toke a chylde, and set hym harde by hym,

48. ഈ ശിശുവിനെ എന്റെ നാമത്തില് ആരെങ്കിലും കൈക്കൊണ്ടാല് എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവനോ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരിലും ചെറിയവനായവന് അത്രേ വലിയവന് ആകും എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

48. And sayde vnto them: Whosoeuer receaueth this chylde in my name, receaueth me: And whosoeuer receaueth me, receaueth him that sent me. For he that is least among you all, the same shalbe great.

49. നാഥാ, ഒരുത്തന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നതു ഞങ്ങള് കണ്ടു; ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കായ്കയാല് അവനെ വിരോധിച്ചു എന്നു യോഹന്നാന് പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു യേശു അവനോടു

49. And Iohn aunswered, and sayde: Maister, we sawe one castyng out deuyls in thy name, and we forbad hym, because he foloweth not with vs.

50. വിരോധിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രതിക്കുലമല്ലാത്തവന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അനുകൂലമല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

50. And Iesus sayde vnto hym, Forbyd ye [hym] not: For he that is not against vs, is with vs.

51. അവന്റെ ആരോഹണത്തിന്നുള്ള കാലം തികയാറായപ്പോള് അവന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രയാവാന് മനസ്സു ഉറപ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കു മുമ്പായി ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു.

51. And it came to passe, when the tyme was come that he shoulde be receaued vp, he set his face to go to Hierusalem.

52. അവര് പോയി അവന്നായി വട്ടംകൂട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ശമര്യക്കാരുടെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തില് ചെന്നു.

52. And sent messengers before him: And they went, & entred into a towne of the Samaritanes, to make redy for hym.

53. എന്നാല് അവന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുവാന് ഭാവിച്ചിരിക്കയാല് അവര് അവനെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടില്ല.

53. And they woulde not receaue him, because his face was as though he woulde go to Hierusalem.

54. അതു അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരായ യാക്കോബും യോഹന്നാനും കണ്ടിട്ടുകര്ത്താവേ, (ഏലിയാവു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ) ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു തീ ഇറങ്ങി അവരെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് ഞങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതു നിനക്കു സമ്മതമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

54. When his disciples, Iames & Iohn, sawe this, they sayde: Lord, wylt thou that we comaunde fire to come downe from heauen and consume them, euen as Elias dyd?

55. അവന് തിരിഞ്ഞു അവരെ ശാസിച്ചു(നിങ്ങള് ഏതു ആത്മാവിന്നു അധീനര് എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ല;

55. Iesus turned about, & rebuked them, saying: Ye wote not what maner spirite ye are of.

56. മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രാണങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാനല്ല രക്ഷിപ്പാനത്രേ വന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.) അവര് വേറൊരു ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്കു പോയി.

56. For the sonne of man is not come to destroye mens lyues, but to saue them. And they went to another towne.

57. അവര് വഴിപോകുമ്പോള് ഒരുത്തന് അവനോടുനീ എവിടെപോയാലും ഞാന് നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

57. And it came to passe, that as they went walkyng in the way, a certayne man sayde vnto hym: I wyll folowe thee Lorde whyther so euer thou go.

58. യേശു അവനോടുകുറുനരികള്ക്കു കുഴിയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവജാതിക്കു കൂടും ഉണ്ടു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്നോ തല ചായിപ്പാന് സ്ഥലമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

58. And Iesus sayde vnto hym: Foxes haue holes, and byrdes of the ayre haue nestes: but the sonne of man, hath not where to lay his head.

59. വേറൊരുത്തനോടുഎന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാറെ അവന് ഞാന് മുമ്പെ പോയി എന്റെ അപ്പനെ കുഴിച്ചിടുവാന് അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

59. And he sayde vnto another, folowe me. And the same sayde: Lorde, suffer me first to go and burie my father.

60. അവന് അവനോടുമരിച്ചവര് തങ്ങളുടെ മരിച്ചവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടട്ടെ; നീയോ പോയി ദൈവരാജ്യം അറിയിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

60. Iesus sayde vnto hym, Let the dead burie their dead: but go thou & preache the kyngdome of God.

61. മറ്റൊരുത്തന് കര്ത്താവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാം; ആദ്യം എന്റെ വീട്ടിലുള്ളവരോടു യാത്ര പറവാന് അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

61. And another sayde: Lorde I wyll folowe thee, but let me first go byd them farewell, which are at home at my house.

62. യേശു അവനോടുകലപ്പെക്കു കൈ വെച്ച ശേഷം പുറകോട്ടു നോക്കുന്നവന് ആരും ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു കൊള്ളാകുന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

62. Iesus sayde vnto hym: No man that putteth his hande to the plowe, and loketh backe, is apt to the kyngdome of God.
