1. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കലങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; ദൈവത്തില് വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് , എന്നിലും വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് .

1. Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2. എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഭവനത്തില് അനേകം വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടു; ഇല്ലെങ്കില് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുമായിരുന്നു. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കുവാന് പോകുന്നു.

2. In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if [it were] not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3. ഞാന് പോയി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കിയാല്, ഞാന് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തു നിങ്ങളും ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പിന്നെയും വന്നു നിങ്ങളെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചേര്ത്തുകൊള്ളും

3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

4. ഞാന് പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കുള്ള വഴി നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നു.

4. So that ye know where I go, and ye know the way.

5. തോമാസ് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, നീ എവിടെ പോകുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ല; പിന്നെ വഴി എങ്ങനെ അറിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവനോടു

5. Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not where thou goest; how, therefore, can we know the way?

6. ഞാന് തന്നേ വഴിയും സത്യവും ജീവനും ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് മുഖാന്തരമല്ലാതെ ആരും പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് എത്തുന്നില്ല.

6. Jesus said unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes unto the Father, but by me.

7. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു എങ്കില് എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും അറിയുമായിരുന്നു; ഇന്നുമുതല് നിങ്ങള് അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവനെ കണ്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

7. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also; and from now on ye know him and have seen him.

8. ഫിലിപ്പോസ് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, പിതാവിനെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കാണിച്ചു തരേണം; എന്നാല് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു മതി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. Philip said unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it [will] suffice us.

9. യേശു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഞാന് ഇത്രകാലം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും നീ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ ഫിലിപ്പൊസേ? എന്നെ കണ്ടവന് പിതാവിനെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ പിതാവിനെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരേണം എന്നു നീ പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

9. Jesus said unto him, Have I been [such a] long time with you, and yet thou hast not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Show us the Father?

10. ഞാന് പിതാവിലും പിതാവു എന്നിലും ആകുന്നു എന്നു നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്ന വചനം സ്വയമായിട്ടല്ല സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു; പിതാവു എന്നില് വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുന്നു.

10. Believest thou not that I [am] in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

11. ഞാന് പിതാവിലും പിതാവു എന്നിലും എന്നു എന്നെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് ; അല്ലെങ്കില് പ്രവൃത്തി നിമിത്തം എന്നെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് .

11. Believe me that I [am] in the Father and the Father in me, or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു; ഞാന് ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി എന്നില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവനും ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതില് വലിയതും അവന് ചെയ്യും.

12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do because I go unto my Father.

13. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും പിതാവു പുത്രനില് മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ചെയ്തുതരും.

13. And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് ചെയ്തുതരും.

14. If ye ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

15. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളും.

15. If ye love me, keep my commandments;

16. എന്നാല് ഞാന് പിതാവിനോടു ചോദിക്കും; അവന് സത്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്ന മറ്റൊരു കാര്യസ്ഥനെ എന്നേക്കും നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും.

16. and I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever,

17. ലോകം അവനെ കാണുകയോ അറികയോ ചെയ്യായ്കയാല് അതിന്നു അവനെ ലഭിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല; നിങ്ങളോ അവന് നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ വസിക്കയും നിങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അറിയുന്നു.

17. [even] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him, or know him; but ye know him, for he dwells with you and shall be in you.

18. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ അനാഥരായി വിടുകയില്ല; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരും.

18. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

19. കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞാല് ലോകം എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; നിങ്ങളോ എന്നെ കാണും; ഞാന് ജീവിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളും ജീവിക്കും.

19. Yet a little while, and the world shall see me no more, but ye shall see me; because I live, ye shall live also.

20. ഞാന് എന്റെ പിതാവിലും നിങ്ങള് എന്നിലും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളിലും എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അന്നു അറിയും.

20. At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21. എന്റെ കല്പനകള് ലഭിച്ചു പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവന് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവന് ആകുന്നു; എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവനെ എന്റെ പിതാവു സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; ഞാനും അവനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു അവന്നു എന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും.

21. He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

22. ഈസ്കര്യ്യോത്താവല്ലാത്ത യൂദാ അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടാകുന്നു നീ ലോകത്തിന്നല്ല ഞങ്ങള്ക്കത്രേ നിന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് പോകുന്നതു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

22. Judas, not Iscariot, said unto him, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world?

23. യേശു അവനോടു എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവന് എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കും; എന്റെ പിതാവു അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കും; ഞങ്ങള് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ വാസം ചെയ്യും.

23. Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.

24. എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കാത്തവന് എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നില്ല; നിങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കുന്ന വചനം എന്റേതല്ല എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവിന്റെതത്രേ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

24. He that does not love me does not keep my words, and the word which ye have heard is not mine, but of the Father who sent me.

25. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കുമ്പോള് ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. I have spoken these things unto you, being [yet] present with you.

26. എങ്കിലും പിതാവു എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അയപ്പാനുള്ള പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന കാര്യസ്ഥന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സകലവും ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരികയും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

26. But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all the things that I have said unto you.

27. സമാധാനം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേച്ചുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ സമാധാനം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്നു; ലോകം തരുന്നതുപോലെ അല്ല ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്നതു. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കലങ്ങരുതു, ഭ്രമിക്കയും അരുതു.

27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28. ഞാന് പോകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങിവരിയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു കേട്ടുവല്ലോ; നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ഞാന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് സന്തോഷിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; പിതാവു എന്നെക്കാള് വലിയവനല്ലോ.

28. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice because I said, I go unto the Father; for my Father is greater than I.

29. അതു സംഭവിക്കുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് അതു സംഭവിക്കുംമുമ്പെ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

29. And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30. ഞാന് ഇനി നിങ്ങളോടു വളരെ സംസാരിക്കയില്ല; ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു വരുന്നു; അവന്നു എന്നോടു ഒരു കാര്യവുമില്ല.

30. Hereafter I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world comes and has nothing in me.

31. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് പിതാവിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നും പിതാവു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നും ലോകം അറിയട്ടെ. എഴുന്നേല്പിന് ; നാം പോക.

31. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.:
