1. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കലങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; ദൈവത്തില് വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് , എന്നിലും വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് .

1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye beleeue in God, beleeue also in me.

2. എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഭവനത്തില് അനേകം വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടു; ഇല്ലെങ്കില് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുമായിരുന്നു. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കുവാന് പോകുന്നു.

2. In my Fathers house are many dwelling places: if it were not so, I would haue tolde you: I go to prepare a place for you.

3. ഞാന് പോയി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കിയാല്, ഞാന് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തു നിങ്ങളും ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പിന്നെയും വന്നു നിങ്ങളെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചേര്ത്തുകൊള്ളും

3. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I wil come againe, and receiue you vnto my selfe, that where I am, there may ye be also.

4. And whither I go, ye know, and the way ye knowe.

5. Thomas sayd vnto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest: how can we then know ye way?

6. Iesus sayd vnto him, I am that Way, and that Trueth, and that Life. No man commeth vnto the Father, but by me.

7. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു എങ്കില് എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും അറിയുമായിരുന്നു; ഇന്നുമുതല് നിങ്ങള് അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവനെ കണ്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

7. If ye had knowen mee, ye should haue knowen my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and haue seene him.

8. ഫിലിപ്പോസ് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, പിതാവിനെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കാണിച്ചു തരേണം; എന്നാല് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു മതി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. Philippe sayd vnto him, Lord, shewe vs thy Father, and it sufficeth vs.

9. Iesus sayd vnto him, I haue bene so long time with you, and hast thou not knowen mee, Philippe? he that hath seene me, hath seene my Father: how then sayest thou, Shewe vs thy Father?

10. ഞാന് പിതാവിലും പിതാവു എന്നിലും ആകുന്നു എന്നു നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്ന വചനം സ്വയമായിട്ടല്ല സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു; പിതാവു എന്നില് വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുന്നു.

10. Beleeuest thou not, that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The wordes that I speake vnto you, I speake not of my selfe: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the workes.

11. ഞാന് പിതാവിലും പിതാവു എന്നിലും എന്നു എന്നെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് ; അല്ലെങ്കില് പ്രവൃത്തി നിമിത്തം എന്നെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിന് .

11. Beleeue me, that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me: at the least, beleeue me for the very workes sake.

12. Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that beleeueth in me, the workes that I doe, hee shall doe also, and greater then these shall he doe: for I goe vnto my Father.

13. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും പിതാവു പുത്രനില് മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ചെയ്തുതരും.

13. And whatsoeuer ye aske in my Name, that will I doe, that the Father may be glorified in the Sonne.

14. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നാമത്തില് എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് ചെയ്തുതരും.

14. If ye shall aske any thing in my Name, I will doe it.

15. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളും.

15. If ye loue me, keepe my comandements,

16. എന്നാല് ഞാന് പിതാവിനോടു ചോദിക്കും; അവന് സത്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്ന മറ്റൊരു കാര്യസ്ഥനെ എന്നേക്കും നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും.

16. And I wil pray the Father, and he shall giue you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for euer,

17. ലോകം അവനെ കാണുകയോ അറികയോ ചെയ്യായ്കയാല് അതിന്നു അവനെ ലഭിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല; നിങ്ങളോ അവന് നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ വസിക്കയും നിങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അറിയുന്നു.

17. Euen the Spirit of trueth, whome the world can not receiue, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye knowe him: for he dwelleth with you, and shalbe in you.

18. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ അനാഥരായി വിടുകയില്ല; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരും.

18. I will not leaue you fatherles: but I will come to you.

19. കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞാല് ലോകം എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; നിങ്ങളോ എന്നെ കാണും; ഞാന് ജീവിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളും ജീവിക്കും.

19. Yet a litle while, and the world shall see me no more, but ye shall see me: because I liue, ye shall liue also.

20. ഞാന് എന്റെ പിതാവിലും നിങ്ങള് എന്നിലും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളിലും എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അന്നു അറിയും.

20. At that day shall ye knowe that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

21. എന്റെ കല്പനകള് ലഭിച്ചു പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവന് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവന് ആകുന്നു; എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവനെ എന്റെ പിതാവു സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; ഞാനും അവനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു അവന്നു എന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും.

21. He that hath my commandements, and keepeth them, is he that loueth me: and he that loueth me, shall be loued of my Father: and I will loue him, and wil shewe mine owne selfe to him.

22. ഈസ്കര്യ്യോത്താവല്ലാത്ത യൂദാ അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടാകുന്നു നീ ലോകത്തിന്നല്ല ഞങ്ങള്ക്കത്രേ നിന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് പോകുന്നതു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

22. Iudas sayd vnto him (not Iscariot) Lord, what is the cause that thou wilt shewe thy selfe vnto vs, and not vnto the world?

23. യേശു അവനോടു എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവന് എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കും; എന്റെ പിതാവു അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കും; ഞങ്ങള് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ വാസം ചെയ്യും.

23. Iesus answered, and sayd vnto him, If any man loue me, he will keepe my worde, and my Father will loue him, and we wil come vnto him, and wil dwell with him.

24. എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കാത്തവന് എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നില്ല; നിങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കുന്ന വചനം എന്റേതല്ല എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവിന്റെതത്രേ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

24. He that loueth me not, keepeth not my wordes, and the worde which ye heare, is not mine, but the Fathers which sent me.

25. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കുമ്പോള് ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. These things haue I spoken vnto you, being present with you.

26. എങ്കിലും പിതാവു എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അയപ്പാനുള്ള പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന കാര്യസ്ഥന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സകലവും ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരികയും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

26. But the Comforter, which is the holy Ghost, whom the Father wil send in my Name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, which I haue tolde you.

27. സമാധാനം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേച്ചുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ സമാധാനം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്നു; ലോകം തരുന്നതുപോലെ അല്ല ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്നതു. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കലങ്ങരുതു, ഭ്രമിക്കയും അരുതു.

27. Peace I leaue with you: my peace I giue vnto you: not as the worlde giueth, giue I vnto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor feare.

28. ഞാന് പോകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങിവരിയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു കേട്ടുവല്ലോ; നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ഞാന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് സന്തോഷിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; പിതാവു എന്നെക്കാള് വലിയവനല്ലോ.

28. Ye haue heard howe I saide vnto you, I goe away, and will come vnto you. If ye loued me, ye would verely reioyce, because I said, I goe vnto the Father: for the Father is greater then I.

29. അതു സംഭവിക്കുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് അതു സംഭവിക്കുംമുമ്പെ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

29. And nowe haue I spoken vnto you, before it come, that when it is come to passe, ye might beleeue.

30. ഞാന് ഇനി നിങ്ങളോടു വളരെ സംസാരിക്കയില്ല; ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു വരുന്നു; അവന്നു എന്നോടു ഒരു കാര്യവുമില്ല.

30. Hereafter will I not speake many things vnto you: for the prince of this world commeth, and hath nought in me.

31. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് പിതാവിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നും പിതാവു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നും ലോകം അറിയട്ടെ. എഴുന്നേല്പിന് ; നാം പോക.

31. But it is that the world may knowe that I loue my Father: and as the Father hath commanded me, so I doe. Arise, let vs goe hence.
