27. భార్యకు బద్ధుడవై యుంటివా? విడుదల కోరవద్దు. భార్యలేక విడిగానుంటివా? వివాహము కోరవద్దు.
28. നീ വിവാഹം ചെയ്താലും ദോഷമില്ല; കന്യകയും വിവാഹം ചെയ്താല് ദോഷമില്ല; എങ്കിലും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവര്ക്കും ജഡത്തില് കഷ്ടത ഉണ്ടാകും; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വരരുതു എന്നു എന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം.

31. ലോകത്തെ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവര് അതിനെ അനുഭവിക്കാത്തവരെപ്പോലെയും ആയിരിക്കേണം. ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ രൂപം ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നുവല്ലോ.
31. ఈ లోకము అనుభవించువారు అమితముగా అనుభవింపనట్టును ఉండవలెను; ఏలయనగా ఈ లోకపు నటన గతించుచున్నది.

33. വിവാഹം ചെയ്തവന് ഭാര്യ്യയെ എങ്ങനെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കും എന്നുവെച്ചു ലോകത്തിന്നുള്ളതു ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.

39. భార్య తన భర్త బ్రదికియున్నంతకాలము బద్ధురాలైయుండును, భర్త మృతిపొందినయెడల ఆమె కిష్టమైనవానిని పెండ్లి చేసికొనుటకు స్వతంత్రురాలై యుండునుగాని ప్రభువునందు మాత్రమే పెండ్లిచేసికొనవలెను.
40. എന്നാല് അവള് അങ്ങനെതന്നേ പാര്ത്തുകൊണ്ടാല് ഭാഗ്യമേറിയവള് എന്നു എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം; ദൈവാത്മാവു എനിക്കും ഉണ്ടു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നു.
40. అయితే ఆమె విధవరాలుగా ఉండినట్టయిన మరి ధన్యురాలని నా అభిప్రాయము. దేవుని ఆత్మనాకును కలిగియున్నదని తలంచుకొనుచున్నాను.
