1. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കി; ആകയാല് അതില് ഉറെച്ചുനില്പിന് ; അടിമനുകത്തില് പിന്നെയും കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു.

1. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and wrap not yourselves(be not wrapped) again in the yoke of bondage.

2. നിങ്ങള് പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റാല് ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ല എന്നു പൌലൊസായ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

2. Behold I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing at all.

3. പരിച്ഛേദന ഏലക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനോടുംഅവന് ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും നിവര്ത്തിപ്പാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് പിന്നെയും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.

3. I testify again to every man which is circumcised that he is bound to keep the whole law.

4. ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു വേറുപെട്ടുപോയി; നിങ്ങള് കൃപയില്നിന്നു വീണുപോയി.

4. Ye are gone quite from Christ as many as are justified(wylbe made righteous) by the law, and are fallen from grace.

5. ഞങ്ങളോ വിശ്വാസത്താല് നീതി ലഭിക്കും എന്നുള്ള പ്രത്യാശാനിവൃത്തിയെ ആത്മാവിനാല് കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. We look for and hope to be justified by the spirit which cometh of faith.(We look for, and hope in the spirit, to be justified thorow faith.)(But we wait in the spirit of hope, to be made righteous by faith)

6. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് പരിച്ഛേദനയല്ല അഗ്രചര്മ്മവുമല്ല സ്നേഹത്താല് വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസമത്രേ കാര്യം.

6. For in Jesu(Iesus) Christ, neither is circumcision anything worth, neither yet uncircumcision, but faith which by love is mighty in operation.

7. നിങ്ങള് നന്നായി ഔടിയിരുന്നു; സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങളെ ആര് തടുത്തു കളഞ്ഞു?

7. Ye did run well. Who was a let unto you, that ye should not obey the truth? (consent unto no man)

8. ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിപ്പിച്ചതു നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ല.

8. Even that counsel that is not of him that called you.

9. അസാരം പുളിമാവു പിണ്ഡത്തെ മുഴുവനും പുളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

9. A little leaven doth leaven(sowreth) the whole lump of dough.

10. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായമുണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് കര്ത്താവില് ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കുന്നവന് ആരായാലും ശിക്ഷാവിധി ചുമക്കും.

10. I have trust toward you in God,(the LORDE) that ye will be none otherwise minded. He that troubleth you shall bear his judgement, whatsoever he be.

11. ഞാനോ, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഇപ്പോഴും പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികില് ഇനിയും ഉപദ്രവം സഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അങ്ങനെ എങ്കില് ക്രൂശിന്റെ ഇടര്ച്ച നീങ്ങിപ്പോയല്ലോ.

11. Brethren if I yet preach circumcision: why do I then yet suffer persecution? For then had the offense which the cross giveth ceased.(then had the slander of the cross ceased)

12. നിങ്ങളെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര് അംഗച്ഛേദം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാല് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

12. I would to God they were sundered(seperated) from you(rooted out from among you) which trouble you.

13. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ജഡത്തിന്നു അവസരമാക്കുക മാത്രം ചെയ്യാതെ സ്നേഹത്താല് അന്യോന്യം സേവിപ്പിന് .

13. Brethren ye were called into liberty, only let not your liberty be an occasion unto the flesh but in love (of the spirit) serve one another.

14. കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം. എന്നുള്ള ഏകവാക്യത്തില് ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, which is(namely in) this: Thou shalt love thine neighbour as thyself.

15. നിങ്ങള് അന്യോന്യം കടിക്കയും തിന്നുകളയും ചെയ്താലോ ഒരുവനാല് ഒരുവന് ഒടുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാന് സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

15. If ye bite and devour one another: take heed lest ye be consumed one of another.

16. ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പിന് ; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ജഡത്തിന്റെ മോഹം നിവര്ത്തിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് പറയുന്നു.

16. I say walk in the spirit, and fulfil not(and so shall ye not fulfil) the lusts of the flesh.

17. ജഡാഭിലാഷം ആത്മാവിന്നും ആത്മാഭിലാഷം ജഡത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അവ തമ്മില് പ്രതിക്കുലമല്ലോ.

17. For the flesh lusteth contrary to(against) the spirit, and the spirit contrary to(against) the flesh. These are contrary one to the other, so that ye cannot do that which ye would.

18. ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നിങ്ങള് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന് കീഴുള്ളവരല്ല.

18. But and if ye be led of the spirit, then are ye not under the law.

19. ജഡത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു, അശുദ്ധി, ദുഷ്കാമം, വിഗ്രഹാരാധന,

19. The deeds of the flesh are manifest, which are these, advoutry, fornication,(whoredom) uncleanness, wantonness,

20. ആഭിചാരം, പക, പിണക്കം, ജാരശങ്ക, ക്രോധം, ശാഠ്യം,

20. idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, lawing,(variance) zeal, wrath, strife, sedition, part takings,(sects)

21. ദ്വന്ദ്വപക്ഷം, ഭിന്നത, അസൂയ, മദ്യപാനം, വെറിക്കൂത്തു മുതലായവ എന്നു വെളിവാകുന്നു; ഈ വക പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന് ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടു മുന് കൂട്ടി പറയുന്നു.

21. envying, murder, drunkenness, gluttony, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which commit such things shall not be inheritors of(shall not inherit) the kingdom of God:

22. ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലമോസ്നേഹം, സന്തോഷം, സമാധാനം, ദീര്ഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരോപകാരം, വിശ്വസ്തത, സൌമ്യത,

22. but the fruit of the spirit is, love, joy, peace, longsuffering gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperancy:(temperance.)

23. ഇന്ദ്രിയജയം; ഈ വകെക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണവുമില്ല.

23. Against such there is no law.

24. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നുള്ളവര് ജഡത്തെ അതിന്റെ രാഗമോഹങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ ക്രൂശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. They that are Christ's,(Christis) have crucified the flesh with the appetites(desires) and lusts.

25. ആത്മാവിനാല് നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്ക.

25. If we live in the spirit let us walk in the spirit.

26. നാം അന്യോന്യം പോരിന്നു വിളിച്ചും അന്യോന്യം അസൂയപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു വൃഥാഭിമാനികള് ആകരുതു.

26. Let us not be vain glorious, provoking one another, and envying one another.
