1. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നിടമായ ഉയരത്തിലുള്ളതു അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് .
യെശയ്യാ 45:3

1. If ye then be rysen agayne with Christ, seke those things which are aboue, where Christe sitteth on the ryght hande of God.

2. ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതല്ല ഉയരത്തിലുള്ളതു തന്നേ ചിന്തിപ്പിന് .

2. Set your affection on thynges aboue, not on thinges on the earth.

3. നിങ്ങള് മരിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവന് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ദൈവത്തില് മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. For ye are dead, and your lyfe is hyd with Christe in God.

4. നമ്മുടെ ജീവനായ ക്രിസ്തു വെളിപ്പെടുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളും അവനോടുകൂടെ തേജസ്സില് വെളിപ്പെടും.

4. When soeuer Christe which is our life, shall appeare, then shall ye also appeare with hym in glorie.

5. ആകയാല് ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു, അശുദ്ധി, അതിരാഗം, ദുര്മ്മോഹം, വിഗ്രഹാരാധനയായ അത്യാഗ്രഹം ഇങ്ങനെ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ അവയവങ്ങളെ മരിപ്പിപ്പിന് .

5. Mortifie therefore your members which are vpon the earth: fornication, vncleannesse, inordinate affection, euyll concupiscence, and couetousnesse, which is worshippyng of images:

6. ഈ വക നിമിത്തം ദൈവകോപം അനസരണംകെട്ടവരുടെ മേല് വരുന്നു.

6. For which thynges sake, the wrath of God commeth on the children of disobedience,

7. അവയില് ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന കാലം നിങ്ങളും മുമ്പെ അവയില് നടന്നുപോന്നു.

7. In the which ye walked sometyme, when ye lyued in them.

8. ഇപ്പോഴോ നിങ്ങളും കോപം, ക്രോധം, ഈര്ഷ്യ, വായില്നിന്നു വരുന്ന ദൂഷണം, ദുര്ഭാഷണം ഇവ ഒക്കെയും വിട്ടുകളവിന് .

8. But nowe put ye of also all, wrath, fiercenesse, maliciousnesse, blasphemie, filthie comunication out of your mouth.

9. അന്യോന്യം ഭോഷകു പറയരുതു. നിങ്ങള് പഴയ മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോടുകൂടെ ഉരിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു,

9. Lye not one to another, seyng that ye haue put of ye olde man with his workes:

10. തന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രതിമപ്രകാരം പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്നായി പുതുക്കം പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ മനുഷ്യനെ ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവല്ലോ.

10. Hauyng put on the newe man, which is renued into the knowledge after the image of hym that made hym,

11. അതില് യവനനും യെഹൂദനും എന്നില്ല, പരിച്ഛേദനയും അഗ്രചര്മ്മവും എന്നില്ല, ബര്ബ്ബരന് , ശകന് , ദാസന് , സ്വതന്ത്രന് എന്നുമില്ല; ക്രിസ്തുവത്രേ എല്ലാവരിലും എല്ലാം ആകുന്നു.

11. Where is neither Greke nor Iewe, circumcision nor vncircumcision, Barbarian, Sythian, bonde, free: but Christe is all, and in all.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വൃതന്മാരും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരും പ്രിയരുമായി മനസ്സലിവു, ദയ, താഴ്മ, സൌമ്യത, ദീര്ഘക്ഷമ എന്നിവ ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു

12. Put on therfore (as the elect of God, holy and beloued) bowels of mercie, kyndenesse, humblenesse of mynde, mekenesse, long sufferyng,

13. അന്യോന്യം പൊറുക്കയും ഒരുവനോടു ഒരുവന്നു വഴക്കുണ്ടായാല് തമ്മില് ക്ഷമിക്കയും ചെയ്വിന് .

13. Forbearyng one another, and forgeuyng one another, yf any man haue a quarel agaynst any: euen as Christe forgaue you, so also [do] ye.

14. എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും മീതെ സമ്പൂര്ണ്ണതയുടെ ബന്ധമായ സ്നേഹം ധരിപ്പിന് .

14. And aboue all thynges [put on] loue, which is the bonde of perfectnesse.

15. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് വാഴട്ടെ; അതിന്നല്ലോ നിങ്ങള് ഏകശരീരമായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നതു; നന്ദിയുള്ളവരായും ഇരിപ്പിന് .

15. And let the peace of God haue the victorie in your heartes, to the which also we are called in one body: And see that ye be thankefull.

16. സങ്കീര്ത്തനങ്ങളാലും സ്തുതികളാലും ആത്മികഗീതങ്ങളാലും തമ്മില് പഠിപ്പിച്ചും ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശിച്ചും നന്ദിയോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് ദൈവത്തിന്നു പാടിയും ഇങ്ങനെ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വചനം ഐശ്വര്യമായി സകല ജ്ഞാനത്തോടും കൂടെ നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കട്ടെ.

16. Let the worde of God dwell in you richly in all wisdome, teachyng and admonisshyng your owne selues, in psalmes, and hymmes, and spirituall songes, singyng with grace in your heartes to the Lorde.

17. വാക്കിനാലോ, ക്രിയയാലോ എന്തു ചെയ്താലും സകലവും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ചെയ്തും അവന് മുഖാന്തരം പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം പറഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിന് .

17. And whatsoeuer ye do in worde or deede, [do] all in the name of the Lorde Iesus, geuyng thankes to God and the father by hym.

18. ഭാര്യമാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭര്ത്താക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കര്ത്താവില് ഉചിതമാകും വണ്ണം കീഴടങ്ങുവിന് .

18. Wiues, submit your selues vnto your owne husbandes, as it is comely in the Lorde.

19. ഭര്ത്താക്കന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ സ്നേഹിപ്പിന് ; അവരോടു കൈപ്പായിരിക്കയുമരുതു.

19. Husbandes, loue your wyues, and be not bitter agaynst them:

20. മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ സകലത്തിലും അനുസരിപ്പിന് . ഇതു കര്ത്താവിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് കണ്ടാല് പ്രസാദകരമല്ലോ.

20. Chyldren, obey your fathers and mothers in all thynges, for that is well pleasyng vnto the Lorde.

21. പിതാക്കന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള് അധൈര്യപ്പെടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരെ കോപിപ്പിക്കരുതു.

21. Fathers, prouoke not your chyldren [to anger], lest they be discouraged.

22. ദാസന്മാരേ, ജഡപ്രകാരമുള്ള യജമാനന്മാരെ സകലത്തിലും അനുസരിപ്പിന് ; മനുഷ്യരെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ദൃഷ്ടിസേവകളാലല്ല കര്ത്താവിനെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടു ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ഏകാഗ്രതയോടെ അത്രേ അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതു.

22. Seruauntes, obey in all thynges to your bodyly maisters: not with eye seruice, as men pleasers, but in singlenesse of heart, fearyng God.

23. നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും മനുഷ്യര്ക്കെന്നല്ല കര്ത്താവിന്നു എന്നപോലെ മനസ്സോടെ ചെയ്വിന് .

23. And whatsoeuer ye do, do it heartilie, as to the Lorde, and not vnto men:

24. അവകാശമെന്ന പ്രതിഫലം കര്ത്താവു തരും എന്നറിഞ്ഞു കര്ത്താവായ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ സേവിപ്പിന് .

24. Knowyng, that of the Lorde ye shall receaue the rewarde of inheritaunce, for ye serue the Lorde Christe:

25. അന്യായം ചെയ്യുന്നവന് താന് ചെയ്ത അന്യായത്തിന്നു ഒത്തതു പ്രാപിക്കും; മുഖപക്ഷം ഇല്ല.

25. But he that doth wrong, shall receaue for the wrong he hath done: And there is no respect of persons.
