1. അതിന്റെശേഷം ഭൂമിമേലും കടലിന്മേലും യാതൊരു വൃക്ഷത്തിന്മേലും കാറ്റു ഊതാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാലു ദൂതന്മാര് ഭൂമിയിലെ നാലു കാറ്റും പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമിയുടെ നാലു കോണിലും നിലക്കുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു.

1. And after that I saw four angels stand on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the winds should not blow on the earth, neither on the sea, neither on any tree.

2. മറ്റൊരു ദൂതന് ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുദ്രയുമായി കിഴക്കുനിന്നു കയറുന്നതും കണ്ടു. അവന് ഭൂമിക്കും സമുദ്രത്തിന്നും കേടുവരുത്തുവാന് അധികാരം ലഭിച്ച നാലു ദൂതന്മാരോടു

2. And I saw another angel ascend from the rising of the sun, which had the seal of the living God, and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels (to whom power was given to hurt the earth and the sea)

3. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ നെറ്റിയില് ഞങ്ങള് മുദ്രയിട്ടു കഴിയുവോളം ഭൂമിക്കും സമൂദ്രത്തിന്നും വൃക്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കും കേടുവരുത്തരുതു എന്നു ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

3. saying: Hurt not the earth neither the sea, neither the trees, till I(we) have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

4. മുദ്രയേറ്റവരുടെ എണ്ണവും ഞാന് കേട്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സകല ഗോത്രത്തിലും നിന്നു മുദ്രയേറ്റവര് നൂറ്റിനാല്പത്തിനാലായിരം പേര്.

4. And I heard the number of them which were sealed, and there were sealed an hundred and forty four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

5. യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് മുദ്രയേറ്റവര് പന്തീരായിരം; രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം; ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം;

5. Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Ruben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

6. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം; നപ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം; മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം;

6. Of the tribe of Asser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Neptalym were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

7. ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം; യിസ്സാഖാര്ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം;

7. Of the tribe of Symeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levy were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Isacar were sealed twelve thousand.

8. സെബൂലോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം; യോസേഫ് ഗോത്രത്തില് പന്തീരായിരം; ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് മുദ്രയേറ്റവര് പന്തിരായിരം പേര്.

8. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin(Beniamyn) were sealed twelve thousand.

9. ഇതിന്റെ ശേഷം സകല ജാതികളിലും ഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും വംശങ്ങളിലും ഭാഷകളിലുംനിന്നു ഉള്ളതായി ആര്ക്കും എണ്ണിക്കൂടാത്ത ഒരു മഹാപുരുഷാരം വെള്ളനിലയങ്കി ധരിച്ചു കയ്യില് കുരുത്തോലയുമായി സിംഹാസനത്തിന്നും കുഞ്ഞാടിന്നും മുമ്പാകെ നിലക്കുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു.

9. After this I beheld, and lo a great multitude (which no man could number) of all nations, and people, and tongues, stood before the seat, and before the lamb, clothed with long white garments, and palms in their hands,

10. രക്ഷ എന്നുള്ളതു സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവനായ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെയും ദാനം എന്നു അവര് അത്യുച്ചത്തില് ആര്ത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

10. and cried with a loud voice, saying: Health(salvation) be (ascribed) to him that sitteth upon the seat of our God, and unto the lamb.

11. സകലദൂതന്മാരും സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെയും നാലു ജീവികളുടെയും ചുറ്റും നിന്നു സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് കവിണ്ണു വീണു; ആമേന് ;

11. And all the angels stood in the compass of the seat, and of the seniors,(elders) and of the four beasts, and fell before the seat on their faces, and worshipped God,

12. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു എന്നെന്നേക്കും സ്തുതിയും മഹത്വവും ജ്ഞാനവും സ്തോത്രവും ബഹുമാനവും ശക്തിയും ബലവും; ആമേന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ദൈവത്തെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

12. saying, amen: Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanks, and honour, and power and might, be unto our God, for evermore amen.

13. മൂപ്പന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് എന്നോടുവെള്ളനിലയങ്കി ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവര് ആര്? എവിടെ നിന്നു വന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

13. And one of the seniors(elders) answered, saying unto me: what are these which are arrayed in long white garments, and whence came they?

14. യജമാനന് അറിയുമല്ലോ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു അവന് എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഇവര് മഹാകഷ്ടത്തില്നിന്നു വന്നവര്; കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ രക്തത്തില് തങ്ങളുടെ അങ്കി അലക്കി വെളുപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. And I said unto him: Lord thou wottest. And he said unto me: these are they which came out of great tribulation and made their garments large, and made them white in the blood of the lamb:

15. അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന് മുമ്പില് ഇരുന്നു അവന്റെ ആലയത്തില് രാപ്പകല് അവനെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു; സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന് അവര്ക്കും കൂടാരം ആയിരിക്കും.

15. therefore are they in the presence of the seat of God and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sitteth in the seat will dwell among them.

16. ഇനി അവര്ക്കും വിശക്കയില്ല ദാഹിക്കയും ഇല്ല; വെയിലും യാതൊരു ചൂടും അവരുടെ മേല് തട്ടുകയുമില്ല.

16. They shall hunger no more neither thirst, neither shall the sun light on them, neither any heat.

17. സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഉള്ള കുഞ്ഞാടു അവരെ മേച്ചു ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ ഉറവുകളിലേക്കു നടത്തുകയും ദൈവം താന് അവരുടെ കണ്ണില്നിന്നു കണ്ണുനീര് എല്ലാം തുടെച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യും.

17. For the lamb which is in the midst of the seat, shall feed them, and shall lead them unto fountains of living water, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
