1. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ നാനൂറ്റെണ്പതാം സംവത്സരത്തില് യിസ്രായേലില് ശലോമോന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ നാലാം ആണ്ടില് രണ്ടാം മാസമായ സീവ് മാസത്തില് അവന് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിവാന് തുടങ്ങി.

1. And it came to passe, that in the foure hundred & fourescore yere, after the childre of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, and in the fourth yere of the rayne of Solomon vpon Israel, & in the moneth Zif, which is the second moneth, he began to build the house of the Lorde.

2. ശലോമോന് രാജാവു യഹോവേക്കു പണിത ആലയം അറുപതു മുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപതു മുഴം വീതിയും മുപ്പതു മുഴം ഉയരവും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു

2. And the house which king Solomon built for the Lorde, was threescore cubites long, and twentie cubites broade, and thirtie cubites hie.

3. ആലയമായ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മുഖമണ്ഡപം ആലയവീതിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഇരുപതു മുഴം നീളവും ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുന് വശത്തു പത്തു മുഴം വീതിയും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

3. And he made a porche before the temple of the house, which was twentie cubites long, after ye breadth of the house, and ten cubites brode, [euen] in the fore front of the house.

4. അവന് ആലയത്തിന്നു ജാലം ഇണക്കിയ കിളിവാതിലുകളെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

4. And in the house he made windowes, broade without, and narow within.

5. മന്ദിരവും അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരവും കൂടിയ ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുവരിനോടു ചേര്ത്തു ചുറ്റും തട്ടുതട്ടായി പുറവാരങ്ങളും പണിതു അവയില് ചുറ്റും അറകളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

5. And by the wall of the house he made chambers round about [euen] in the walles of the house round about the temple & the quier: and he made chambers round about.

6. താഴത്തെ പുറവാരം അഞ്ചു മുഴവും നടുവിലത്തേതു ആറു മുഴവും മൂന്നാമത്തേതു ഏഴു മുഴവും വീതിയുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; തുലാങ്ങള് ആലയഭിത്തികളില് അകത്തു ചെല്ലാതിരിപ്പാന് അവന് ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പുറമെ ഗളം പണിതു.

6. The neathermost chamber was fiue cubites broade, & the middle was sixe cubites broade, & the third was seuen cubites broade: For without in the wall of the house he made restes round about that [the beames of the chambers] shoulde not be fastened in ye walles of the house.

7. വെട്ടുകുഴിയില്വെച്ചു തന്നേ കുറവുതീര്ത്ത കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു ആലയം പണിതതിനാല് അതു പണിയുന്ന സമയത്തു ചുറ്റിക, മഴു മുതലായ യാതൊരു ഇരിമ്പായുധത്തിന്റെയും ഒച്ച ആലയത്തിങ്കല് കേള്പ്പാനില്ലായിരുന്നു.

7. And the house was built of stone, made perfect alredye before it was brought thyther: so that there was neither hammer nor axe, either any toole of iron heard in the house while it was in buylding.

8. താഴത്തെ പുറവാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില് ആലയത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ആയിരുന്നു; ചുഴല്കോവണിയില്കൂടെ നടുവിലെ പുറവാരത്തിലേക്കും നടുവിലത്തേതില്നിന്നു മൂന്നാമത്തെ പുറവാരത്തിലേക്കും കയറാം.

8. The doore of the middle chamber was in the ryght syde of the house: and men went vp with wineding stayres into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

9. അങ്ങനെ അവന് ആലയം പണിതുതീര്ത്തു; ദേവദാരുത്തുലാങ്ങളും ദേവദാരുപ്പലകയുംകൊണ്ടു ആലയത്തിന്നു മച്ചിട്ടു.

9. And so he built the house, and finished it: and he roofed the house vaultly with beames of Cedar tymber.

10. ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള തട്ടുകള് അയ്യഞ്ചു മുഴം ഉയരത്തില് അവന് പണിതു ദേവദാരുത്തുലാങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു ആലയത്തോടു ഇണെച്ചു.

10. And then he built chambers to all the temple fiue cubites heyght, & they were ioyned to the house with beames of Cedar.

11. ശലോമോന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

11. And the word of the Lorde came to Solomon, saying:

12. നീ പണിയുന്ന ഈ ആലയം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; നീ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ആചരിച്ചു എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടന്നാല് ഞാന് നിന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം നിന്നില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കും.

12. Concerning the house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walke in myne ordinaunces, and execute my lawes, and kepe all my commaundementes to walke in them: then wyll I make good vnto thee my promise which I promysed Dauid thy father:

13. ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിക്കും; എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയില്ല.

13. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

14. അങ്ങനെ ശലോമോന് ആലയം പണിതുതീര്ത്തു.

14. Solomon therefore built the house, and finished it.

15. അവന് ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുവര് അകത്തെവശം ദേവദാരുപ്പലകകൊണ്ടു പണിതു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് ആലയത്തിന്റെ നിലംമുതല് മച്ചുവരെ അകത്തെ വശം മരംകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചു; ആലയത്തിന്റെ നിലം സരളപ്പലകകൊണ്ടു തളമിട്ടു.

15. And seeled the walles of the house within with boordes of Cedar tree: euen fro the pauement of the house vnto the roofe did he seele the walles of it within with Cedar tree: and boorded the floore of the house with planckes of firre.

16. ആലയത്തിന്റെ പിന് വശം ഇരുപതു മുഴം നീളത്തില് നിലംമുതല് ഉത്തരം വരെ ദേവദാരുപ്പലകകൊണ്ടു പണിതുഇങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരമായ അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ ഉള്വശം പണിതതു.

16. And he builded twentie cubites in the sydes of the quier of the temple both floore & walles with boordes of Cedar: and dressed it within the secret place of the temple, euen in the most holy.

17. അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മുന് ഭാഗത്തുള്ള മന്ദിരമായ ആലയത്തിന്നു നാല്പതു മുഴം നിളമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

17. But the house, that is the temple before it, was fourtie cubites [long.]

18. ആലയത്തിന്റെ അകത്തെ ചുവരിന്മേല് ദേവദാരുകൊണ്ടുള്ള കുമിഴുകളും വിടര്ന്ന പുഷ്പങ്ങളും കൊത്തുപണിയായിരുന്നു; എല്ലാം ദേവദാരുകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു; കല്ലു അശേഷം കാണ്മാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

18. And the Cedar of the house within, was carued with knoppes, and grauen with flowres: & all was Cedar timber, so that no stone was sene.

19. ആലയത്തിന്റെ അകത്തു യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ഒരു അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരം ചമെച്ചു.

19. And the quier that was within the temple he prepared, to set there the arke of the appoyntment of the Lorde.

20. അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ അകം ഇരുപതു മുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപതു മുഴം വീതിയും ഇരുപതു മുഴം ഉയരവും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു; അവന് അതു തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു; ദേവദാരുമരംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ധൂപപീഠവും പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

20. And the quier before was twentie cubites long, & twentie cubites in breadth, and twentie cubites in height: And he couered it with pure golde, and boorded the aulter with Cedar.

21. ആലയത്തിന്റെ അകം ശലോമോന് തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു; അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മുന് വശത്തു വിലങ്ങത്തില് പൊന് ചങ്ങല കൊളുത്തി അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരം പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

21. So Solomon couered the house within with pure golde: And he made golde barres runne along the quier, which he had couered with golde.

22. അങ്ങനെ അവന് ആലയം ആസകലം പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു; അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്നുള്ള പീഠവും മുഴുവനും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

22. And the whole house he ouerlayde with golde vntil he had ended it: also al the aulter that was in the quier he ouerlayde with golde.

23. അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തില് അവന് ഒലിവുമരംകൊണ്ടു പത്തു മുഴം ഉയരമുള്ള രണ്ടു കെരൂബുകളെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

23. And within the quier he made two Cherubims of Oliue tree ten cubites hie.

24. ഒരു കെരൂബിന്റെ ഒരു ചിറകു അഞ്ചു മുഴം, കെരൂബിന്റെ മറ്റെ ചിറകു അഞ്ചു മുഴം; ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു ചിറകിന്റെ അറ്റം മുതല് മറ്റെ ചിറകിന്റെ അറ്റംവരെ പത്തു മുഴം.

24. Fiue cubites long was a wing of the one Cherub, & fiue cubites long was a wing of the other Cherub: so that from the vttermost part of one wing, vnto the vttermost part of the other, were ten cubites.

25. മറ്റെ കെരൂബിന്നും പത്തു മുഴം; കെരൂബ് രണ്ടിന്നും അളവും ആകൃതിയും ഒന്നു തന്നേ.

25. And the other Cherub was ten cubites hie also: so that both the Cherubs were of one measure, and one sise:

26. ഒരു കെരൂബിന്റെ ഉയരം പത്തു മുഴം; മറ്റെ കെരൂബിന്നും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.

26. For the height of the one Cherub was ten cubites, and so was it of the other.

27. അവന് കെരൂബുകളെ അന്തരാലയത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് നിര്ത്തി; കെരൂബുകളുടെ ചിറകു വിടര്ന്നിരുന്നു; ഒന്നിന്റെ ചിറകു ഒരു ചുവരോടും മറ്റേതിന്റെ ചിറകു മറ്റേ ചുവരോടും തൊട്ടിരുന്നു. ആലയത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് അവയുടെ ചിറകു ഒന്നോടൊന്നു തൊട്ടിരുന്നു.

27. And he put the Cherubs within the inner house: And the Cherubs stretched out their winges, so that the one wing of the one touched the one wall, and the one wing of the other touched the other wall: And the other two winges of them touched one another in the middest of the house.

28. കെരൂബുകളെയും അവന് പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

28. And he ouerlayde the Cherubs with golde.

29. അന്തരാലയവും ബഹിരാലയവുമായ ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുവരുകളിലെല്ലാം ചുറ്റും കെരൂബ്, ഈന്തപ്പന, വിടര്ന്ന പുഷ്പം എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപം കൊത്തി ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

29. And in all the walles of ye house round about, he made figures of carued & seeled worke: [as namely] pictures of Cherubs, & paulme trees, & grauen flowres, [both] within [in the quier] and without [in the temple.]

30. അന്തരാലയവും ബഹിരാലയവുമായ ആലയത്തിന്റെ തളവും അവന് പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

30. And the floore of the house he couered with golde, [both] within [in the quier] and [also] without [in the temple.]

31. അവന് അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു ഒലിവുമരംകൊണ്ടു കതകു ഉണ്ടാക്കി; കുറമ്പടിയും കട്ടളക്കാലും ചുവരിന്റെ അഞ്ചില് ഒരു അംശമായിരുന്നു.

31. And in the entering of the quier, he made two doores of Oliue tree: And both the vpper & two side postes were fiue square.

32. ഒലിവ് മരം കൊണ്ടുള്ള കതകു രണ്ടിലും കെരൂബ്, ഈന്തപ്പന, വിടര്ന്ന പുഷ്പം എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപങ്ങള് കൊത്തി പൊന്നു പൊതിഞ്ഞു; കെരൂബുകളിലും ഈന്തപ്പനകളിലും പൊന്നു പൊതിഞ്ഞു

32. The two doores also were of oliue tree, & he graued them with grauing of Cherubs and paulme trees and grauen flowres, & couered them with golde, & layde thinne plates of golde vpon the Cherubs and paulme trees.

33. അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ അവന് മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നും ഒലിവുമരംകൊണ്ടു കട്ടള ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അതു ചുവരിന്റെ നാലില് ഒരംശമായിരുന്നു.

33. And so made he for the doore of the temple, postes of Oliue tree foure square.

34. അതിന്റെ കതകു രണ്ടും സരളമരംകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഒരു കതകിന്നു രണ്ടു മടകൂപാളിയും മറ്റെ കതകിന്നു രണ്ടു മടകൂപാളിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

34. The two doores were of firre tree, and either doore with foulding leaues.

35. അവന് അവയില് കെരൂബ്, ഈന്തപ്പന, വിടര്ന്ന പുഷ്പം എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപങ്ങളെ കൊത്തി രൂപങ്ങളുടെമേല് പൊന്നു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

35. And he graued thereon Cherubs, paulme trees, & carued flowres: and couered the carued worke with golde finelie wrought.

36. അവന് അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരം ചെത്തിയ കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു മൂന്നു വരിയും ദേവദാരുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു വരിയുമായിട്ടു പണിതു.

36. And he built the inner court with three rowes of hewed stone, and one rowe of Cedar wood.

37. നാലാം ആണ്ടു സീവ് മാസത്തില് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇടുകയും പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ടു എട്ടാം മാസമായ ബൂല് മാസത്തില് ആലയം അതിന്റെ സകലഭാഗങ്ങളുമായി അതിന്റെ മാതൃകപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും പണിതുതീര്ക്കുംകയും ചെയ്തു. അങ്ങനെ അവന് ഏഴാണ്ടുകൊണ്ടു അതു പണിതുതീര്ത്തു.

37. In the fourth yere was the foundation of the house of the Lorde layde, euen in the moneth Zif.
