1. ഹെബ്രോനില്വെച്ചു ദാവീദിന്നു ജനിച്ച പുത്രന്മാരാവിതുയിസ്രെയേല്ക്കാരത്തിയായ അഹീനോവാം പ്രസവിച്ച അമ്നോന് ആദ്യ ജാതന് ; കര്മ്മേല്ക്കാരത്തിയായ അബിഗയില് പ്രസവിച്ച ദാനീയേല് രണ്ടാമന് ;

1. These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron. The first-born was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam of Jezreel. The second was Daniel, the son of Abigail of Carmel.

2. ഗെശൂര് രാജാവായ തല്മായിയുടെ മകളായ മയഖയുടെ മകന് അബ്ശാലോം മൂന്നാമന് ; ഹഗ്ഗീത്തിന്റെ മകന് അദോനീയാവു നാലാമന് ;

2. The third was Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of King Talmai of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith.

3. അബീതാല് പ്രസവിച്ച ശെഫത്യാവു അഞ്ചാമന് ; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ എഗ്ളാ പ്രസവിച്ച യിഥ്രെയാം ആറാമന് .

3. The fifth was Shephatiah the son of Abital. And the sixth was Ithream, by David's wife Eglah.

4. ഈ ആറുപേരും അവന്നു ഹെബ്രോനില്വെച്ചു ജനിച്ചു; അവിടെ അവന് ഏഴു സംവത്സരവും ആറു മാസവും വാണു; യെരൂശലേമീല് അവന് മുപ്പത്തിമൂന്നു സംവത്സരം വാണു.

4. Six sons were born to David in Hebron. He ruled there for seven years and six months. And he ruled in Jerusalem for thirty-three years.

5. These are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Bathsheba the daughter of Ammiel gave birth to David's four sons, Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon.

6. ശലോമോന് എന്നീ നാലുപേരും യിബ്ഹാര്, എലീശാമാ,

6. And there were Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7. എലീഫേലെത്ത്, നോഗഹ്, നേഫെഗ്, യാഫീയാ,

7. Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8. എലീശാമാ, എല്യാദാ എലീഫേലെത്ത് എന്നീ ഒമ്പതു പേരും.

8. Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine sons.

9. വെപ്പാട്ടികളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരൊഴികെ ദാവീദിന് പുത്രന്മാരൊക്കെയും ഇവരത്രേ. താമാര് അവരുടെ സഹോദരി ആയിരുന്നു.

9. All these were the sons of David, added to the sons of the women who acted as David's wives. Tamar was their sister.

10. ശലോമോന്റെ മകന് രെഹബെയാം; അവന്റെ മകന് അബീയാവു; അവന്റെ മകന് ആസാ;

10. Solomon's son was Rehoboam. Abijah was his son. Asa was his son. Jehoshaphat was his son.

11. അവന്റെ മകന് യെഹോശാഫാത്ത്; അവന്റെ മകന് യഹോരാം; അവന്റെ മകന് അഹസ്യാവു;

11. Joram was his son. Ahaziah was his son. Joash was his son.

12. അവന്റെ മകന് യോവാശ്; അവന്റെ മകന് അമസ്യാവു; അവന്റെ മകന് അസര്യ്യാവു. അവന്റെ മകന് യോഥാം; അവന്റെ മകന് ആഹാസ്;

12. Amaziah was his son. Azariah was his son. Jotham was his son.

13. അവന്റെ മകന് ഹിസ്കീയാവു; അവന്റെ മകന് മനശ്ശെ;

13. Ahaz was his son. Hezekiah was his son. Manasseh was his son.

14. അവന്റെ മകന് ആമോന് ; അവന്റെ മകന് യോശീയാവു.

14. Amon was his son. And Josiah was his son.

15. യോശീയാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ആദ്യജാതന് യോഹാനാന് ; രണ്ടാമന് യെഹോയാക്കീം; മൂന്നാമന് സിദെക്കിയാവു; നാലാമന് ശല്ലൂം.

15. The sons of Josiah were Johanan the first-born, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.

16. യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അവന്റെ മകന് യെഖൊന്യാവു; അവന്റെ മകന് സിദെക്കിയാവു.

16. The sons of Jehoiakim were Jeconiah and Zedekiah.

17. ബദ്ധനായ യെഖൊന്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അവന്റെ മകന് ശെയല്ത്തീയേല്,

17. Jeconiah was taken away to prison by the Babylonians. His sons were Shealtiel,

18. മല്ക്കീരാം, പെദായാവു, ശെനസ്സര്, യെക്കമ്യാവു, ഹോശാമാ, നെദബ്യാവു.

18. Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19. പെദായാവിന്റെ മക്കള്സെരുബ്ബാബേല്, ശിമെയി. സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ മക്കള്മെശുല്ലാം, ഹനന്യാവു, അവരുടെ സഹോദരി ശെലോമീത്ത് എന്നിവരും

19. Pedaiah's sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister.

20. ഹശൂബാ, ഔഹെല്, ബേരെഖ്യാവു, ഹസദ്യാവു, യൂശബ്-ഹേസെദ് എന്നീ അഞ്ചുപേരും തന്നേ.

20. Five other sons of Zerubbabel were Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

21. ഹനന്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്പെലത്യാവു, യെശയ്യാവു, രെഫായാവിന്റെ മക്കള്, അര്ന്നാന്റെ മക്കള്, ഔബദ്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്, ശെഖന്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്.

21. The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. His son was Arnan. His son was Obadiah. And his son was Shecaniah.

22. ശെഖന്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്ശെമയ്യാവു; ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്ഹത്തൂശ്, യിഗാല്, ബാരീഹ്, നെയര്യ്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്

22. Shecaniah's son was Shemaiah, whose sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six sons.

23. എല്യോവേനായി, ഹിസ്കീയാവു, അസ്രീക്കാം ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നുപേര്.

23. The three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam.

24. എല്യോവേനായിയുടെ മക്കള്ഹോദവ്യാവു, എല്യാശീബ്, പെലായാവു, അക്കൂബ്, യോഹാനാന് , ദെലായാവു, അനാനി ഇങ്ങനെ ഏഴുപേര്.

24. And the seven sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
