1. Then Job spoke again and said:

2. നീ ശക്തിയില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്തു സഹായം ചെയ്തു? ബലമില്ലാത്ത ഭുജത്തെ എങ്ങനെ താങ്ങി?

2. What help you give to the powerless, what strength to the feeble arm!

3. ജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്താലോചന പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു? ജ്ഞാനം എത്ര ധാരാളം ഉപദേശിച്ചു?

3. How you counsel, as though he had no wisdom; how profuse is the advice you offer!

4. ആരെയാകുന്നു നീ വാക്യം കേള്പ്പിച്ചതു? ആരുടെ ശ്വാസം നിന്നില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു;

4. With whose help have you uttered those words, and whose is the breath that comes forth from you?

5. വെള്ളത്തിന്നും അതിലെ നിവാസികള്ക്കും കീഴെ പ്രേതങ്ങള് നൊന്തു നടുങ്ങുന്നു.

5. The shades beneath writhe in terror, the waters, and their inhabitants.

6. പാതാളം അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് തുറന്നുകിടക്കുന്നു; നരകം മറയില്ലാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Naked before him is the nether world, and Abaddon has no covering.

7. ഉത്തരദിക്കിനെ അവന് ശൂന്യത്തിന്മേല് വിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ നാസ്തിത്വത്തിന്മേല് തൂക്കുന്നു.

7. He stretches out the North over empty space, and suspends the earth over nothing at all;

8. അവന് വെള്ളത്തെ മേഘങ്ങളില് കെട്ടിവെക്കുന്നു; അതു വഹിച്ചിട്ടു കാര്മുകില് കീറിപ്പോകുന്നതുമില്ല.

8. He binds up the waters in his clouds, yet the cloud is not rent by their weight;

9. തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ ദര്ശനം അവന് മറെച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അതിന്മേല് തന്റെ മേഘം വിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. He holds back the appearance of the full moon by spreading his clouds before it.

10. അവന് വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെയും ഇരുട്ടിന്റെയും അറ്റത്തോളം വെള്ളത്തിന്മേല് ഒരു അതിര് വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. He has marked out a circle on the surface of the deep as the boundary of light and darkness.

11. ആകാശത്തിന്റെ തൂണുകള് കുലുങ്ങുന്നു; അവന്റെ തര്ജ്ജനത്താല് അവ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നു.

11. The pillars of the heavens tremble and are stunned at his thunderous rebuke;

12. അവന് തന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു സമുദ്രത്തെ ഇളക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ വിവേകംകൊണ്ടു രഹബിനെ തകര്ക്കുംന്നു.

12. By his power he stirs up the sea, and by his might he crushes Rahab;

13. അവന്റെ ശ്വാസത്താല് ആകാശം ശോഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൈ വിദ്രുതസര്പ്പത്തെ കുത്തിത്തുളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. With his angry breath he scatters the waters, and he hurls the lightning against them relentlessly; His hand pierces the fugitive dragon as from his hand it strives to flee.

14. എന്നാല് ഇവ അവന്റെ വഴികളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളത്രേ; നാം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു മന്ദസ്വരമേ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളു. അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ ഇടിമുഴക്കമോ ആര് ഗ്രഹിക്കും?

14. Lo, these are but the outlines of his ways, and how faint is the word we hear!
