1. അരിഷ്ടന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന; അവന് ക്ഷീണിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ സങ്കടത്തെ പകരുമ്പോള് കഴിച്ചതു.

1. A prayer of a suffering man when he is weak and pours out his problems to the Lord. Lord, hear my prayer. Listen to my cry for help.

2. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ നിലവിളി തിരുസന്നിധിയില് വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2. Don't turn your face away from me when I'm in trouble. Pay attention to me. When I call out for help, answer me quickly.

3. കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില് നിന്റെ മുഖം എനിക്കു മറെക്കരുതേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് വിളിക്കുന്ന നാളില് വേഗത്തില് എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

3. My days are disappearing like smoke. My body burns like glowing coals.

4. എന്റെ നാളുകള് പുകപോലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് തീക്കൊള്ളിപോല വെന്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. My strength has dried up like grass. I even forget to eat my food.

5. എന്റെ ഹൃദയം അരിഞ്ഞ പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഭക്ഷണംകഴിപ്പാന് മറന്നുപോകുന്നു.

5. I groan out loud because of my suffering. I'm nothing but skin and bones.

6. എന്റെ ഞരക്കത്തിന്റെ ഒച്ചനിമിത്തം എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് മാംസത്തോടു പറ്റുന്നു.

6. I'm like a desert owl. I'm like an owl among destroyed buildings.

7. ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വേഴാമ്പല്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; ശൂന്യസ്ഥലത്തെ മൂങ്ങാപോലെ തന്നേ.

7. I can't sleep. I've become like a bird alone on a roof.

8. ഞാന് ഉറക്കിളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വീട്ടിന്മുകളില് തനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കുരികില് പോലെ ആകുന്നു.

8. All day long my enemies laugh at me. Those who make fun of me use my name as a curse.

9. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ഇടവിടാതെ എന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു ചീറുന്നവര് എന്റെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി ശപിക്കുന്നു.

9. I eat ashes as my food. My tears fall into what I'm drinking.

10. ഞാന് അപ്പംപോലെ ചാരം തിന്നുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനീയത്തില് കണ്ണുനീര് കലക്കുന്നു;

10. You were very angry with me. So you picked me up and threw me away.

11. നിന്റെ കോപവും ക്രോധവും ഹേതുവായിട്ടു തന്നേ; നീ എന്നെ എടുത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
യാക്കോബ് 1:10-11

11. The days of my life are like an evening shadow. I dry up like grass.

12. എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴല് പോലെയാകുന്നു; ഞാന് പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.

12. But Lord, you are seated on your throne forever. Your fame will continue for all time to come.

13. നീയോ, യഹോവേ, എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളവന് ; നിന്റെ നാമം തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിലനിലക്കുന്നു.

13. You will rise up and show deep concern for Zion. The time has come for you to show favor to it.

14. നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സീയോനോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും; അവളോടു കൃപ കാണിപ്പാനുള്ള കാലം, അതേ, അതിന്നു സമയം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. The stones of your destroyed city are priceless to us. Even its dust brings deep concern to us.

15. നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കും അവളുടെ കല്ലുകളോടു താല്പര്യവും അവളുടെ പൂഴിയോടു അലിവും തോന്നുന്നു.

15. The nations will worship the Lord. All of the kings on earth will respect his glorious power.

16. യഹോവ സീയോനെ പണികയും തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തില് പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകയും

16. The Lord will build Zion again. He will appear in his glory.

17. അവന് അഗതികളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കടാക്ഷിക്കയും അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നിരസിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു

17. He will answer the prayer of those who don't have anything. He won't say no to their cry for help.

18. ജാതികള് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും നിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെയും ഭയപ്പെടും.

18. Let this be written down for those born after us. Then people who are not yet born can praise the Lord.

19. വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന തലമുറെക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇതു എഴുതിവേക്കും; സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള ജനം യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

19. Here is what should be written. 'The Lord looked down from his temple in heaven. From heaven he viewed the earth.

20. യഹോവയെ സേവിപ്പാന് ജാതികളും രാജ്യങ്ങളും കൂടി വന്നപ്പോള്

20. He heard the groans of the prisoners. He set free those who were sentenced to death.'

21. സീയോനില് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും യെരൂശലേമില് അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

21. So people will talk about him in Zion. They will praise him in Jerusalem.

22. ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഞരക്കം കേള്പ്പാനും മരണത്തിന്നു നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ വിടുവിപ്പാനും

22. Nations and kingdoms will gather there to worship the Lord.

23. യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമായ ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഭൂമിയെ തൃക്കണ്പാര്ത്തുവല്ലോ.

23. When I was still young, he took away my strength. He wasn't going to let me live much longer.

24. അവന് വഴിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന് എന്റെ നാളുകളെ ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. So I said, 'My God, don't let me die in the middle of my life. You will live for all time to come.

25. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ആയുസ്സിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തില് എന്നെ എടുത്തുകളയരുതേ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 1:10-12

25. In the beginning you made the earth secure. You placed it on its foundations. Your hands created the heavens.

26. പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തു നീ ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനമായിട്ടു; ആകാശം നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.

26. They will pass away. But you will remain. They will all wear out like a piece of clothing. You will make them like clothes that are taken off and thrown away.

27. അവ നശിക്കും നീയോ നിലനിലക്കും; അവയെല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും; ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ മാറ്റും; അവ മാറിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.

27. But you remain the same. Your years will never end.

28. നീയോ അനന്യനാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല.

28. Our children will live with you. Their sons and daughters will be safe in your care.'
