1. അരിഷ്ടന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന; അവന് ക്ഷീണിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ സങ്കടത്തെ പകരുമ്പോള് കഴിച്ചതു.

1. The title of the `hundrid and o salm. The preier of a pore man, whanne he was angwishid, and schedde out his speche bifore the Lord.

2. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ നിലവിളി തിരുസന്നിധിയില് വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2. Lord, here thou my preier; and my crie come to thee.

3. കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില് നിന്റെ മുഖം എനിക്കു മറെക്കരുതേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് വിളിക്കുന്ന നാളില് വേഗത്തില് എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

3. Turne not awei thi face fro me; in what euere dai Y am troblid, bowe doun thin eere to me. In what euere day Y schal inwardli clepe thee; here thou me swiftli.

4. എന്റെ നാളുകള് പുകപോലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് തീക്കൊള്ളിപോല വെന്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For my daies han failid as smoke; and my boonus han dried vp as critouns.

5. എന്റെ ഹൃദയം അരിഞ്ഞ പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഭക്ഷണംകഴിപ്പാന് മറന്നുപോകുന്നു.

6. എന്റെ ഞരക്കത്തിന്റെ ഒച്ചനിമിത്തം എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് മാംസത്തോടു പറ്റുന്നു.

6. Of the vois of my weilyng; my boon cleuede to my fleische.

7. ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വേഴാമ്പല്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; ശൂന്യസ്ഥലത്തെ മൂങ്ങാപോലെ തന്നേ.

7. I am maad lijk a pellican of wildirnesse; Y am maad as a niyt crowe in an hous.

8. ഞാന് ഉറക്കിളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വീട്ടിന്മുകളില് തനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കുരികില് പോലെ ആകുന്നു.

8. I wakide; and Y am maad as a solitarie sparowe in the roof.

9. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ഇടവിടാതെ എന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു ചീറുന്നവര് എന്റെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി ശപിക്കുന്നു.

9. Al dai myn enemyes dispisiden me; and thei that preisiden me sworen ayens me.

10. ഞാന് അപ്പംപോലെ ചാരം തിന്നുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനീയത്തില് കണ്ണുനീര് കലക്കുന്നു;

10. For Y eet aschis as breed; and Y meddlide my drinke with weping.

11. നിന്റെ കോപവും ക്രോധവും ഹേതുവായിട്ടു തന്നേ; നീ എന്നെ എടുത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

11. Fro the face of the ire of thin indignacioun; for thou reisinge me hast hurtlid me doun.

12. എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴല് പോലെയാകുന്നു; ഞാന് പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.

12. Mi daies boweden awei as a schadewe; and Y wexede drie as hei.

13. നീയോ, യഹോവേ, എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളവന് ; നിന്റെ നാമം തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിലനിലക്കുന്നു.

13. But, Lord, thou dwellist with outen ende; and thi memorial in generacioun and in to generacioun.

14. നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സീയോനോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും; അവളോടു കൃപ കാണിപ്പാനുള്ള കാലം, അതേ, അതിന്നു സമയം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. Lord, thou risinge vp schalt haue merci on Sion; for the tyme `to haue merci therof cometh, for the tyme cometh.

15. നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കും അവളുടെ കല്ലുകളോടു താല്പര്യവും അവളുടെ പൂഴിയോടു അലിവും തോന്നുന്നു.

15. For the stones therof plesiden thi seruauntis; and thei schulen haue merci on the lond therof.

16. യഹോവ സീയോനെ പണികയും തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തില് പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകയും

16. And, Lord, hethen men schulen drede thi name; and alle kingis of erthe schulen drede thi glori.

17. അവന് അഗതികളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കടാക്ഷിക്കയും അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നിരസിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു

17. For the Lord hath bildid Sion; and he schal be seen in his glorie.

18. ജാതികള് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും നിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെയും ഭയപ്പെടും.

18. He bihelde on the preier of meke men; and he dispiside not the preier of hem.

19. വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന തലമുറെക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇതു എഴുതിവേക്കും; സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള ജനം യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

19. Be these thingis writun in an othere generacioun; and the puple that schal be maad schal preise the Lord.

20. യഹോവയെ സേവിപ്പാന് ജാതികളും രാജ്യങ്ങളും കൂടി വന്നപ്പോള്

20. For he bihelde fro his hiye hooli place; the Lord lokide fro heuene in to erthe.

21. സീയോനില് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും യെരൂശലേമില് അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

21. For to here the weilingis of feterid men; and for to vnbynde the sones of slayn men.

22. ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഞരക്കം കേള്പ്പാനും മരണത്തിന്നു നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ വിടുവിപ്പാനും

22. That thei telle in Sion the name of the Lord; and his preising in Jerusalem.

23. യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമായ ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഭൂമിയെ തൃക്കണ്പാര്ത്തുവല്ലോ.

23. In gaderinge togidere puplis in to oon; and kingis, that thei serue the Lord.

24. അവന് വഴിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന് എന്റെ നാളുകളെ ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. It answeride to hym in the weie of his vertu; Telle thou to me the fewnesse of my daies.

25. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ആയുസ്സിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തില് എന്നെ എടുത്തുകളയരുതേ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 1:10-12

25. Ayenclepe thou not me in the myddil of my daies; thi yeris ben in generacioun and in to generacioun.

26. പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തു നീ ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനമായിട്ടു; ആകാശം നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 1:10-12

26. Lord, thou foundidist the erthe in the bigynnyng; and heuenes ben the werkis of thin hondis.

27. അവ നശിക്കും നീയോ നിലനിലക്കും; അവയെല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും; ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ മാറ്റും; അവ മാറിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.

27. Tho schulen perische, but thou dwellist perfitli; and alle schulen wexe eelde as a clooth. And thou schalt chaunge hem as an hiling, and tho schulen be chaungid;

28. നീയോ അനന്യനാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല.

28. but thou art the same thi silf, and thi yeeris schulen not faile.

29. നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മക്കള് നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും; അവരുടെ സന്തതി നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നിലനിലക്കും.

29. The sones of thi seruauntis schulen dwelle; and the seed of hem schal be dressid in to the world.
