1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. (By David.) With all my heart I praise the LORD, and with all that I am I praise his holy name!

2. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; എന്റെ സര്വ്വാന്തരംഗവുമേ, അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

2. With all my heart I praise the LORD! I will never forget how kind he has been.

3. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; അവന്റെ ഉപകാരങ്ങള് ഒന്നും മറക്കരുതു.

3. The LORD forgives our sins, heals us when we are sick,

4. അവന് നിന്റെ അകൃത്യം ഒക്കെയും മോചിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സകലരോഗങ്ങളെയും സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്നു;

4. and protects us from death. His kindness and love are a crown on our heads.

5. അവന് നിന്റെ ജീവനെ നാശത്തില്നിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്നു; അവന് ദയയും കരുണയും നിന്നെ അണിയിക്കുന്നു.

5. Each day that we live, he provides for our needs and gives us the strength of a young eagle.

6. നിന്റെ യൌവനം കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ പുതുകിവരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് നിന്റെ വായക്കു നന്മകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

6. For all who are mistreated, the LORD brings justice.

7. യഹോവ സകലപീഡിതന്മാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തുന്നു.

7. He taught his Law to Moses and showed all Israel what he could do.

8. The LORD is merciful! He is kind and patient, and his love never fails.

9. യഹോവ കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞവന് ആകുന്നു; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും ഉള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

9. The LORD won't always be angry and point out our sins;

10. അവന് എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഭര്ത്സിക്കയില്ല; എന്നേക്കും കോപം സംഗ്രഹിക്കയുമില്ല.

10. he doesn't punish us as our sins deserve.

11. അവന് നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നമ്മോടു ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; നമ്മുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നമ്മോടു പകരം ചെയ്യുന്നതുമില്ല.

11. How great is God's love for all who worship him? Greater than the distance between heaven and earth!

12. ആകാശം ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന്റെ ദയ അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. How far has the LORD taken our sins from us? Farther than the distance from east to west!

13. ഉദയം അസ്തമയത്തോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന് നമ്മുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെ നമ്മോടു അകറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. Just as parents are kind to their children, the LORD is kind to all who worship him,

14. അപ്പന്നു മക്കളോടു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ യഹോവേക്കു തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നു.

14. because he knows we are made of dust.

15. അവന് നമ്മുടെ പ്രകൃതി അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; നാം പൊടി എന്നു അവന് ഔര്ക്കുംന്നു.

15. We humans are like grass or wild flowers that quickly bloom.

16. മനുഷ്യന്റെ ആയുസ്സു പുല്ലുപോലെയാകുന്നു; വയലിലെ പൂപോലെ അവന് പൂക്കുന്നു.

16. But a scorching wind blows, and they quickly wither to be forever forgotten.

17. കാറ്റു അതിന്മേല് അടിക്കുമ്പോള് അതു ഇല്ലാതെപോകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലം പിന്നെ അതിനെ അറികയുമില്ല.

17. The LORD is always kind to those who worship him, and he keeps his promises to their descendants

18. യഹോവയുടെ ദയയോ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും അവന്റെ നീതി മക്കളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും.

18. who faithfully obey him.

19. അവന്റെ നിയമത്തെ പ്രാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ ഔര്ത്തു ആചരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും തന്നേ.

19. God has set up his kingdom in heaven, and he rules the whole creation.

20. യഹോവ തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ രാജത്വം സകലത്തെയും ഭരിക്കുന്നു.

20. All of you mighty angels, who obey God's commands, come and praise your LORD!

21. അവന്റെ വചനത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു അവന്റെ ആജ്ഞ അനുസരിക്കുന്ന വീരന്മാരായി അവന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് .

21. All of you thousands who serve and obey God, come and praise your LORD!

22. അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരായി അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യങ്ങളുമായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് ;

22. All of God's creation and all that he rules, come and praise your LORD! With all my heart I praise the LORD!
