1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. Praise the Lord, O my soul. And all that is within me, praise His holy name.

2. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; എന്റെ സര്വ്വാന്തരംഗവുമേ, അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

2. Praise the Lord, O my soul. And forget none of His acts of kindness.

3. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; അവന്റെ ഉപകാരങ്ങള് ഒന്നും മറക്കരുതു.

3. He forgives all my sins. He heals all my diseases.

4. അവന് നിന്റെ അകൃത്യം ഒക്കെയും മോചിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സകലരോഗങ്ങളെയും സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്നു;

4. He saves my life from the grave. He crowns me with loving-kindness and pity.

5. അവന് നിന്റെ ജീവനെ നാശത്തില്നിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്നു; അവന് ദയയും കരുണയും നിന്നെ അണിയിക്കുന്നു.

5. He fills my years with good things and I am made young again like the eagle.

6. നിന്റെ യൌവനം കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ പുതുകിവരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് നിന്റെ വായക്കു നന്മകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

6. The Lord does what is right and fair for all who suffer under a bad power.

7. യഹോവ സകലപീഡിതന്മാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തുന്നു.

7. He made His ways known to Moses and His acts to the people of Israel.

8. അവന് തന്റെ വഴികളെ മോശെയെയും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെയും അറിയിച്ചു.

8. The Lord is full of loving-pity and kindness. He is slow to anger and has much loving-kindness.

9. യഹോവ കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞവന് ആകുന്നു; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും ഉള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

9. He will not always keep after us. And He will not keep His anger back forever.

10. അവന് എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഭര്ത്സിക്കയില്ല; എന്നേക്കും കോപം സംഗ്രഹിക്കയുമില്ല.

10. He has not punished us enough for all our sins. He has not paid us back for all our wrong-doings.

11. അവന് നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നമ്മോടു ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; നമ്മുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നമ്മോടു പകരം ചെയ്യുന്നതുമില്ല.

11. For His loving-kindness for those who fear Him is as great as the heavens are high above the earth.

12. ആകാശം ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന്റെ ദയ അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. He has taken our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.

13. ഉദയം അസ്തമയത്തോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന് നമ്മുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെ നമ്മോടു അകറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. The Lord has loving-pity on those who fear Him, as a father has loving-pity on his children.

14. അപ്പന്നു മക്കളോടു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ യഹോവേക്കു തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നു.

14. For He knows what we are made of. He remembers that we are dust.

15. അവന് നമ്മുടെ പ്രകൃതി അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; നാം പൊടി എന്നു അവന് ഔര്ക്കുംന്നു.

15. The days of man are like grass. He grows like a flower of the field.

16. മനുഷ്യന്റെ ആയുസ്സു പുല്ലുപോലെയാകുന്നു; വയലിലെ പൂപോലെ അവന് പൂക്കുന്നു.

16. When the wind blows over it, it is gone. Its place will remember it no more.

17. കാറ്റു അതിന്മേല് അടിക്കുമ്പോള് അതു ഇല്ലാതെപോകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലം പിന്നെ അതിനെ അറികയുമില്ല.

17. But the loving-kindness of the Lord is forever and forever on those who fear Him. And what is right with God is given forever to their children's children,

18. യഹോവയുടെ ദയയോ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും അവന്റെ നീതി മക്കളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും.

18. to those who keep His agreement and remember to obey His Law.

19. അവന്റെ നിയമത്തെ പ്രാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ ഔര്ത്തു ആചരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും തന്നേ.

19. The Lord has set up His throne in the heavens. And His holy nation rules over all.

20. യഹോവ തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ രാജത്വം സകലത്തെയും ഭരിക്കുന്നു.

20. Praise the Lord, you powerful angels of His who do what He says, obeying His voice as He speaks!

21. അവന്റെ വചനത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു അവന്റെ ആജ്ഞ അനുസരിക്കുന്ന വീരന്മാരായി അവന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് .

21. Praise the Lord, all you armies of His who work for Him and do what pleases Him.

22. അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരായി അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യങ്ങളുമായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് ;

22. Praise the Lord, all His works in all places under His rule. Praise the Lord, O my soul!
