1. എന്റെ ബലമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

1. I love You, O Lord, my strength.

2. യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവും ഞാന് ശരണമാക്കുന്ന എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ആകുന്നു.

2. The Lord is my rock, and my safe place, and the One Who takes me out of trouble. My God is my rock, in Whom I am safe. He is my safe-covering, my saving strength, and my strong tower.

3. I call to the Lord, Who has the right to be praised. And I am saved from those who hate me.

4. The ropes of death were all around me. The floods of death make me afraid.

5. പാതാളപാശങ്ങള് എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികളും എന്നെ തുടര്ന്നു പിടിച്ചു.

5. The ropes of the grave were all around me. The traps of death were set for me.

6. എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയില് ഞാന് യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തില്നിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; തിരുമുമ്പില് ഞാന് കഴിച്ച പ്രാര്ത്ഥന അവന്റെ ചെവിയില് എത്തി.

6. I called to the Lord in my trouble. I cried to God for help. He heard my voice from His holy house. My cry for help came into His ears.

7. ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിവിറെച്ചു; മലകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് ഇളകി; അവന് കോപിക്കയാല് അവകുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

7. Then the earth shook. The mountains were shaking. They shook because He was angry.

8. അവന്റെ മൂക്കില്നിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി; അവന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു. തീക്കനല് അവങ്കല്നിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു.

8. Smoke went out from His nose and the fire that kept coming from His mouth burned everything around it.

9. അവന് ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുള് അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

9. He parted the heavens and came down. Dark clouds were under His feet.

10. അവന് കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു; അവന് കാറ്റിന്റെ ചിറകിന്മേലിരുന്നു പറപ്പിച്ചു.

10. He sat upon a cherub and flew. He traveled on the wings of the wind.

11. അവന് അന്ധകാരത്തെ തന്റെ മറവും ജലതമസ്സിനെയും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെയും തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും കൂടാരവുമാക്കി.

11. He made darkness His hiding place, the covering around Him, the dark rain clouds of the sky.

12. അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താല് ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും അവന്റെ മേഘങ്ങളില്കൂടി പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

12. Through the light before Him passed His dark clouds, hail stones and fire.

13. യഹോവ ആകാശത്തില് ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതന് തന്റെ നാദം കേള്പ്പിച്ചു, ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

13. The Lord made thunder in the heavens. The voice of the Most High spoke out, hail stones and fire.

14. അവന് അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു; മിന്നല് അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.

14. He sent out His arrows and divided them. He threw down lightning and sent them running.

15. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ഭര്ത്സനത്താലും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാലും നീര്ത്തോടുകള് കാണായ്വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.

15. Then the deep part of the sea could be seen. And the deep part of the earth was opened up, because of Your sharp words, O Lord, because of the powerful breath from Your nose.

16. അവന് ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു

16. He sent from above, and took me. He lifted me out of many waters.

17. ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നും അവന് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവര് എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവരായിരുന്നു.

17. He took me away from the powerful one who fights against me, and from those who hated me. They were too strong for me.

18. എന്റെ അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് അവര് എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.

18. They stood against me in the day of my trouble. But the Lord was my strength.

19. അവന് എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നില് പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

19. He brought me out into a big place. He gave me a safe place, because He was pleased with me.

20. യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.

20. The Lord has paid me because of my being right with Him. Because of my clean hands He has paid me.

21. ഞാന് യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.

21. For I have kept the ways of the Lord. And I have not sinned by turning from my God.

22. അവന്റെ വിധികള് ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ഞാന് വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

22. All His Laws are in front of me. I have not set His Laws aside.

23. ഞാന് അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു; അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ കാത്തു.

23. Before Him I was without blame. And I have kept myself from sin.

24. യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിപ്രകാരവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയില് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കുള്ള വെടിപ്പിന് പ്രകാരവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.

24. So the Lord has paid me back for being right with Him, and for my hands being clean in His eyes.

25. ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലു ആകുന്നു; നഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കന് ;

25. To the faithful, You show Yourself faithful. To those without blame, You show Yourself without blame.

26. നിര്മ്മലനോടു നീ നിര്മ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.

26. With the pure, You show Yourself pure. With the sinful You show Yourself to be against them.

27. എളിയജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ നീ താഴ്ത്തും.

27. You save those who are suffering, but You bring low those who have pride in their eyes.

28. നീ എന്റെ ദീപത്തെ കത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.

28. You make my lamp bright. The Lord my God lights my darkness.

29. നിന്നാല് ഞാന് പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താല് ഞാന് മതില് ചാടിക്കടക്കും.

29. With Your help I can go against many soldiers. With my God I can jump over a wall.

30. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും അവന് പരിചയാകുന്നു.

30. As for God, His way is perfect. The Word of the Lord has stood the test. He is a covering for all who go to Him for a safe place.

31. യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറയാരുള്ളു?

31. For Who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock except our God?

32. എന്നെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അരമുറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ വഴി കുറവുതീര്ക്കുംകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ.

32. It is God Who covers me with strength and makes my way perfect.

33. അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാന് പേടക്കാലക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി, എന്റെ ഗിരികളില് എന്നെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

33. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer. And He sets me on my high places.

34. അവന് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള് താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.

34. He teaches me how to fight, so that I can use a bow of brass.

35. നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങി നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

35. You have also given me the covering that saves me. Your right hand holds me up. And Your care has made me great.

36. ഞാന് കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലതവരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികള് വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.

36. You make the road wide for my steps, and my feet have not tripped.

37. ഞാന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാന് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.

37. I went after those who fight against me, and caught them. And I did not return until they were destroyed.

38. അവര്ക്കും എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ തകര്ത്തു; അവര് എന്റെ കാല്കീഴില് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

38. I hit them so they were not able to rise. They fell under my feet.

39. യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

39. You have given me strength for war. You have put under me those who have fought against me.

40. എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറംകാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.

40. You have made them turn their backs to me also. And I destroyed those who hated me.

41. അവര് നിലവിളിച്ചു; രക്ഷിപ്പാന് ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് ഉത്തരമരുളിയതുമില്ല.

41. They cried for help, but there was no one to save. They cried to the Lord, but He did not answer them.

42. ഞാന് അവരെ കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു; വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാന് അവരെ കോരിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

42. Then I beat them as small as the dust in the wind. I emptied them out like mud in the streets.

43. ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളില്നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികള്ക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.

43. You have taken me away from the fighting of the people. You have made me the leader of nations. People whom I have not known will serve me.

44. അവര് കേള്ക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാര് എന്നോടു അനുസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും.

44. As soon as they hear, they obey me. Those from other lands obey me.

45. അന്യജാതിക്കാര് ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്ഗ്ഗങ്ങളില്നിന്നു അവര് വിറെച്ചും കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.

45. These people from other lands lose their strength of heart. And they come shaking from behind their walls.

46. യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് ; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം ഉന്നതന് തന്നേ.

46. The Lord lives! How great is my Rock! Praise be to the God Who saves me!

47. ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

47. He is the God Who punishes those who have done wrong to me. He puts nations under my rule.

48. അവന് ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവര്ക്കും മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

48. He saves me from those who hate me. Yes, You lift me above those who rise up against me. You save me from those who want to hurt me.

49. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാന് കീര്ത്തിക്കും.
റോമർ 15:9

49. So I will give thanks to You among the nations, O Lord. And I will sing praises to Your name.

50. അവന് തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നലകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.

50. He gives His king great power over trouble. And He shows loving-kindness to His chosen one, to David, and to his children after him forever.
