1. എന്റെ ബലമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

2. The LORD is my protector; he is my strong fortress. My God is my protection, and with him I am safe. He protects me like a shield; he defends me and keeps me safe.

6. In my trouble I called to the LORD; I called to my God for help. In his temple he heard my voice; he listened to my cry for help.

8. Smoke poured out of his nostrils, a consuming flame and burning coals from his mouth.

9. He tore the sky open and came down with a dark cloud under his feet.

11. He covered himself with darkness; thick clouds, full of water, surrounded him.

12. Hailstones and flashes of fire came from the lightning before him and broke through the dark clouds.

13. യഹോവ ആകാശത്തില് ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതന് തന്റെ നാദം കേള്പ്പിച്ചു, ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

13. Then the LORD thundered from the sky; and the voice of the Most High was heard.

14. അവന് അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു; മിന്നല് അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.

14. He shot his arrows and scattered his enemies; with flashes of lightning he sent them running.

15. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ഭര്ത്സനത്താലും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാലും നീര്ത്തോടുകള് കാണായ്വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.

15. The floor of the ocean was laid bare, and the foundations of the earth were uncovered, when you rebuked your enemies, LORD, and roared at them in anger.

16. അവന് ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു

16. The LORD reached down from above and took hold of me; he pulled me out of the deep waters.

17. ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നും അവന് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവര് എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവരായിരുന്നു.

17. He rescued me from my powerful enemies and from all those who hate me--- they were too strong for me.

18. എന്റെ അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് അവര് എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.

18. When I was in trouble, they attacked me, but the LORD protected me.

19. അവന് എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നില് പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

19. He helped me out of danger; he saved me because he was pleased with me.

20. യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.

20. The LORD rewards me because I do what is right; he blesses me because I am innocent.

21. ഞാന് യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.

21. I have obeyed the law of the LORD; I have not turned away from my God.

22. അവന്റെ വിധികള് ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ഞാന് വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

22. I have observed all his laws; I have not disobeyed his commands.

23. ഞാന് അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു; അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ കാത്തു.

23. He knows that I am faultless, that I have kept myself from doing wrong.

24. യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിപ്രകാരവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയില് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കുള്ള വെടിപ്പിന് പ്രകാരവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.

24. And so he rewards me because I do what is right, because he knows that I am innocent.

25. ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലു ആകുന്നു; നഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കന് ;

25. O LORD, you are faithful to those who are faithful to you; completely good to those who are perfect.

26. നിര്മ്മലനോടു നീ നിര്മ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.

26. You are pure to those who are pure, but hostile to those who are wicked.

27. എളിയജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ നീ താഴ്ത്തും.

27. You save those who are humble, but you humble those who are proud.

28. നീ എന്റെ ദീപത്തെ കത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.

28. O LORD, you give me light; you dispel my darkness.

29. നിന്നാല് ഞാന് പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താല് ഞാന് മതില് ചാടിക്കടക്കും.

29. You give me strength to attack my enemies and power to overcome their defenses.

30. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും അവന് പരിചയാകുന്നു.

30. This God---how perfect are his deeds! How dependable his words! He is like a shield for all who seek his protection.

31. യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറയാരുള്ളു?

31. The LORD alone is God; God alone is our defense.

32. എന്നെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അരമുറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ വഴി കുറവുതീര്ക്കുംകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ.

32. He is the God who makes me strong, who makes my pathway safe.

33. അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാന് പേടക്കാലക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി, എന്റെ ഗിരികളില് എന്നെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

33. He makes me sure-footed as a deer; he keeps me safe on the mountains.

34. അവന് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള് താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.

34. He trains me for battle, so that I can use the strongest bow.

35. നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങി നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

35. O LORD, you protect me and save me; your care has made me great, and your power has kept me safe.

36. ഞാന് കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലതവരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികള് വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.

36. You have kept me from being captured, and I have never fallen.

37. ഞാന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാന് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.

37. I pursue my enemies and catch them; I do not stop until I destroy them.

38. അവര്ക്കും എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ തകര്ത്തു; അവര് എന്റെ കാല്കീഴില് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

38. I strike them down, and they cannot rise; they lie defeated before me.

39. യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

39. You give me strength for the battle and victory over my enemies.

40. എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറംകാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.

40. You make my enemies run from me; I destroy those who hate me.

41. അവര് നിലവിളിച്ചു; രക്ഷിപ്പാന് ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് ഉത്തരമരുളിയതുമില്ല.

41. They cry for help, but no one saves them; they call to the LORD, but he does not answer.

42. ഞാന് അവരെ കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു; വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാന് അവരെ കോരിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

42. I crush them, so that they become like dust which the wind blows away. I trample on them like mud in the streets.

43. ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളില്നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികള്ക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.

43. You saved me from a rebellious people and made me ruler over the nations; people I did not know have now become my subjects.

44. അവര് കേള്ക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാര് എന്നോടു അനുസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും.

44. Foreigners bow before me; when they hear me, they obey.

45. അന്യജാതിക്കാര് ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്ഗ്ഗങ്ങളില്നിന്നു അവര് വിറെച്ചും കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.

45. They lose their courage and come trembling from their fortresses.

46. യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് ; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം ഉന്നതന് തന്നേ.

46. The LORD lives! Praise my defender! Proclaim the greatness of the God who saves me.

47. ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

47. He gives me victory over my enemies; he subdues the nations under me

48. അവന് ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവര്ക്കും മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

48. and saves me from my foes. O LORD, you give me victory over my enemies and protect me from violent people.

49. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാന് കീര്ത്തിക്കും.

49. And so I praise you among the nations; I sing praises to you.

50. അവന് തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നലകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.

50. God gives great victories to his king; he shows constant love to the one he has chosen, to David and his descendants forever.
