1. യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാന് മനസ്സു ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു;

1. A Psalm of David. To thee, O LORD, I lift up my soul.

2. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നില് ഞാന് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകരുതേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് എന്റെമേല് ജയം ഘോഷിക്കരുതേ.

2. O my God, in thee I trust, let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

3. നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകയില്ല; വെറുതെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും.

3. Yea, let none that wait for thee be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

4. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴികളെ എന്നെ അറിയിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ പാതകളെ എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരേണമേ!

4. Make me to know thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

5. നിന്റെ സത്യത്തില് എന്നെ നടത്തി എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; ദിവസം മുഴുവനും ഞാന് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.

5. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; for thee I wait all the day long.

6. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കരുണയും ദയയും ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; അവ പണ്ടുപണ്ടേയുള്ളവയല്ലോ.

6. Be mindful of thy mercy, O LORD, and of thy steadfast love, for they have been from of old.

7. എന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിലെ പാപങ്ങളെയും എന്റെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെയും ഔര്ക്കരുതേ; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൃപപ്രകാരം നിന്റെ ദയനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

7. Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions; according to thy steadfast love remember me, for thy goodness' sake, O LORD!

8. യഹോവ നല്ലവനും നേരുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന് പാപികളെ നേര്വ്വഴികാണിക്കുന്നു.

8. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

9. സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവരെ അവന് ന്യായത്തില് നടത്തുന്നു; സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവര്ക്കും തന്റെ വഴി പഠിപ്പിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

9. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

10. യഹോവയുടെ നിയമവും സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അവന്റെ പാതകളൊക്കെയും ദയയും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു.

10. All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ അകൃത്യം വലിയതു; നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അതു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

11. For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great.

12. യഹോവാഭക്തനായ പുരുഷന് ആര്? അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴി താന് അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

12. Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.

13. അവന് സുഖത്തോടെ വസിക്കും; അവന്റെ സന്തതി ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കും.

13. He himself shall abide in prosperity, and his children shall possess the land.

14. യഹോവയുടെ സഖിത്വം തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും; അവന് തന്റെ നിയമം അവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

14. The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.

15. എന്റെ കണ്ണു എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കാകുന്നു; അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ വലയില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും.

15. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

16. എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഞാന് ഏകാകിയും അരിഷ്ടനും ആകുന്നു.

16. Turn thou to me, and be gracious to me; for I am lonely and afflicted.

17. എനിക്കു മന:പീഡകള് വര്ദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ സങ്കടങ്ങളില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

17. Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me out of my distresses.

18. എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയും അതിവേദനയും നോക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

18. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.

19. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നോക്കേണമേ; അവര് പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് കഠിനദ്വേഷത്തോടെ എന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു;

19. Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.

20. എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാത്തു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്നെ ശരണമാക്കിയിരിക്കയാല് ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.

20. Oh guard my life, and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.

21. നിഷ്കളങ്കതയും നേരും എന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞാന് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for thee.

22. ദൈവമേ, യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളില്നിന്നും വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണമേ.
