1. നീതിമാന്മാരേ, യഹോവില് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിപ്പിന് ; സ്തുതിക്കുന്നതു നേരുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഉചിതമല്ലോ.

1. Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! [For] praise from the upright is beautiful.

2. കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വിന് ; പത്തു കമ്പിയുള്ള വീണകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു സ്തുതി പാടുവിന് .

2. Praise the LORD with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings.

3. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

4. യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നേരുള്ളതു; അവന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുള്ളതു.

4. For the word of the LORD [is] right, And all His work [is done] in truth.

5. അവന് നീതിയും ന്യായവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ ദയകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

6. യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്താല് ആകാശവും അവന്റെ വായിലെ ശ്വാസത്താല് അതിലെ സകലസൈന്യവും ഉളവായി;

6. By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

7. അവന് സമുദ്രത്തിലെ വെള്ളത്തെ കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടുന്നു; അവന് ആഴികളെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളില് സംഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

7. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses.

8. സകലഭൂവാസികളും യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടട്ടെ; ഭൂതലത്തില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരൊക്കെയും അവനെ ശങ്കിക്കട്ടെ.

8. Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

9. അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു; അവന് കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ സ്ഥാപിതമായി.

9. For He spoke, and it was [done;] He commanded, and it stood fast.

10. യഹോവ ജാതികളുടെ ആലോചനയെ വ്യര്ത്ഥമാക്കുന്നു; വംശങ്ങളുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങളെ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കുന്നു.

10. The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.

11. യഹോവയുടെ ആലോചന ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ ഹൃദയവിചാരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിലക്കുന്നു.

11. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.

12. യഹോവ ദൈവമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതിയും അവന് തനിക്കു അവകാശമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ജനവും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളതു.

12. Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

13. യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും കാണുന്നു.

13. The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men.

14. അവന് തന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു സര്വ്വഭൂവാസികളെയും നോക്കുന്നു.

14. From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth;

15. അവന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ഒരുപോലെ മനഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

15. He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.

16. സൈന്യബഹുത്വത്താല് രാജാവു ജയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നില്ല; ബലാധിക്യംകൊണ്ടു വീരന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.

16. No king [is] saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

17. ജായത്തിന്നു കുതിര വ്യര്ത്ഥമാകുന്നു; തന്റെ ബലാധിക്യംമെകാണ്ടു അതു വിടുവിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

17. A horse [is] a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver [any] by its great strength.

18. യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെമേലും തന്റെ ദയെക്കായി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നവരുടെമേലും ഇരിക്കുന്നു;

18. Behold, the eye of the LORD [is] on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,

19. അവരുടെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നു വിടുവിപ്പാനും ക്ഷാമത്തില് അവരെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.

19. To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

20. നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് നമ്മുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.

20. Our soul waits for the LORD; He [is] our help and our shield.

21. അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില് നാം ആശ്രയിക്കയാല് നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയം അവനില് സന്തോഷിക്കും.

21. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.

22. യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ദയ ഞങ്ങളുടെമേല് ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.

22. Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
