1. ഞാന് യഹോവയെ എല്ലാകാലത്തും വാഴ്ത്തും; അവന്റെ സ്തുതി എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ നാവിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കും.

1. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2. എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവയില് പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു; എളിയവര് അതു കേട്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും.

2. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear thereof and be glad.

3. എന്നോടു ചേര്ന്നു യഹോവയെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുവിന് ; നാം ഒന്നിച്ചു അവന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഉയര്ത്തുക.

3. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.

4. ഞാന് യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവന് എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളി എന്റെ സകലഭയങ്ങളില്നിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

4. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5. അവങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കിയവര് പ്രകാശിതരായി; അവരുടെ മുഖം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോയതുമില്ല.

5. They looked unto Him and were lightened, and their faces were not ashamed.

6. ഈ എളിയവന് നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു; അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളില്നിന്നും അവനെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

6. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7. യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതന് അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങി അവരെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

7. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.

8. യഹോവ നല്ലവന് എന്നു രുചിച്ചറിവിന് ; അവനെ ശരണംപ്രാപിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .

8. O taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in Him!

9. യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരേ, അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുവിന് ; അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും ഒന്നിന്നും മുട്ടില്ലല്ലോ.

9. O fear the LORD, ye His saints! For them that fear Him suffer no want.

10. ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളും ഇരകിട്ടാതെ വിശന്നിരിക്കും; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കോ ഒരു നന്മെക്കും കുറവില്ല.

10. The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11. മക്കളേ, വന്നു എനിക്കു ചെവിതരുവിന് ; യഹോവയോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയെ ഞാന് ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.

11. Come, ye children, hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12. ജീവനെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കയും നന്മ കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ദീര്ഘായുസ്സ് ഇച്ഛിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ആര്?

12. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13. ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതെ നിന്റെ നാവിനെയും വ്യാജം പറയാതെ നിന്റെ അധരത്തെയും കാത്തുകൊള്ക;

13. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14. ദോഷം വിട്ടകന്നു ഗുണം ചെയ്ക; സമാധാനം അന്വേഷിച്ചു പിന്തുടരുക.

14. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

15. യഹോവയുടെ കണ്ണു നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ മേലും അവന്റെ ചെവി അവരുടെ നിലവിളിക്കും തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.

16. ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ ഔര്മ്മയെ ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ മുഖം അവര്ക്കും പ്രതിക്കുലമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17. നീതിമാന്മാര് നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു. സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളില്നിന്നും അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

17. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18. ഹൃദയം നുറുങ്ങിയവര്ക്കും യഹോവ സമീപസ്ഥന് ; മനസ്സു തകര്ന്നവരെ അവന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.

19. നീതിമാന്റെ അനര്ത്ഥങ്ങള് അസംഖ്യമാകുന്നു; അവ എല്ലാറ്റില്നിന്നും യഹോവ അവനെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20. അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ എല്ലാം അവന് സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അവയില് ഒന്നും ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകയുമില്ല.

20. He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.

21. അനര്ത്ഥം ദുഷ്ടനെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; നീതിമാനെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കും.

21. Evil shall slay the wicked, and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22. യഹോവ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണനെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നു; അവനെ ശരണമാക്കുന്നവരാരും ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കയില്ല.

22. The LORD redeemeth the soul of His servants, and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate.
