1. വീരാ, നീ ദുഷ്ടതയില് പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ നിരന്തരമാകുന്നു.

1. Why boast thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? The loving kindness of God is continual.

2. ചതിവു ചെയ്യുന്നവനെ, മൂര്ച്ചയുള്ള ക്ഷൌരക്കത്തിപോലെ നിന്റെ നാവു ദുഷ്ടത വകഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.

2. Thy tongue devises wickedness, like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

3. നീ നന്മയെക്കാള് തിന്മയെയും നീതിയെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാള് വ്യാജത്തെയും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു. സേലാ.

3. Thou love evil more than good, and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

7. Lo, this is the man who did not make God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

8. ഞാനോ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിങ്കല് തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷംപോലെ ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയയില് എന്നും എന്നേക്കും ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.

8. But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the loving kindness of God forever and ever.
