1. ഞാന് പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് വര്ണ്ണിക്കും.

1. To the Chief Musician; set for [possibly] soprano voices. A Psalm of David. I WILL praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!

2. ഞാന് നിന്നില് സന്തോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീര്ത്തിക്കും.

2. I will rejoice in You and be in high spirits; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High!

3. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് പിന് വാങ്ങുകയില് ഇടറിവീണു, നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നശിച്ചുപോകും.

3. When my enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished before You.

4. നീ എന്റെ കാര്യവും വ്യവഹാരവും നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ നീതിയോടെ വിധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു;

4. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging righteously.

5. നീ ജാതികളെ ശാസിച്ചു ദുഷ്ടനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെ നാമത്തെ നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും മായിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

5. You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

6. ശത്രുക്കള് മുടിഞ്ഞു സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെയും നീ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവയുടെ ഓര്മ്മകൂടെ ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. The enemy have been cut off and have vanished in everlasting ruins, You have plucked up and overthrown their cities; the very memory of them has perished and vanished.

7. എന്നാല് യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു; ന്യായവിധിക്കു അവന് സിംഹാസനം ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. But the Lord shall remain and continue forever; He has prepared and established His throne for judgment. [Heb. 1:11.]

8. അവന് ലോകത്തെ നീതിയോടെ വിധിക്കും; ജാതികള്ക്കു നേരോടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യും.

8. And He will judge the world in righteousness (rightness and equity); He will minister justice to the peoples in uprightness. [Acts 17:31.]

9. യഹോവ പീഡിതന്നു ഒരു അഭയസ്ഥാനം; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഒരഭയസ്ഥാനം തന്നേ.

9. The Lord also will be a refuge and a high tower for the oppressed, a refuge and a stronghold in times of trouble (high cost, destitution, and desperation).

10. നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അറിയുന്നവര് നിങ്കല് ആശ്രയിക്കും; യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

10. And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God's Word and the right of their necessity]. [Ps. 42:1.]

11. സീയോനില് വസിക്കുന്ന യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം പാടുവിന് ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ഘോഷിപ്പിന് .

11. Sing praises to the Lord, Who dwells in Zion! Declare among the peoples His doings!

12. രക്തപാതകത്തിന്നു പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവന് അവരെ ഓര്ക്കുന്നു; എളിയവരുടെ നിലവിളിയെ അവന് മറക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

12. For He Who avenges the blood [of His people shed unjustly] remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted (the poor and the humble).

13. യഹോവേ, എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; മരണവാതിലുകളില്നിന്നു എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കുന്നവനേ, എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരാല് എനിക്കു നേരിടുന്ന കഷ്ടം നോക്കേണമേ.

13. Have mercy upon me and be gracious to me, O Lord; consider how I am afflicted by those who hate me, You Who lift me up from the gates of death,

14. ഞാന് സീയോന്പുത്രിയുടെ പടിവാതിലുകളില് നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ ഒക്കെയും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു നിന്റെ രക്ഷയില് സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

14. That I may show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your praises! In the gates of the Daughter of Zion I will rejoice in Your salvation and Your saving help.

15. ജാതികള് തങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ കുഴിയില് താണു പോയി; അവര് ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ച വലയില് അവരുടെ കാല് തന്നേ അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made; in the net which they hid is their own foot caught.

16. യഹോവ തന്നെത്താന് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി ന്യായവിധി നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന് സ്വന്തകൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയില് കുടുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തന്ത്രിനാദം. സേലാ.

16. The Lord has made Himself known; He executes judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion [meditation]. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

17. ദുഷ്ടന്മാരും ദൈവത്തെ മറക്കുന്ന സകലജാതികളും പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയും.

17. The wicked shall be turned back [headlong into premature death] into Sheol (the place of the departed spirits of the wicked), even all the nations that forget or are forgetful of God.

18. ദരിദ്രനെ എന്നേക്കും മറന്നു പോകയില്ല; സാധുക്കളുടെ പ്രത്യാശെക്കു എന്നും ഭംഗം വരികയുമില്ല.

18. For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the expectation and hope of the meek and the poor shall not perish forever.

19. യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ, മര്ത്യന് പ്രബലനാകരുതേ; ജാതികള് നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് വിധിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

19. Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before You.

20. യഹോവേ, തങ്ങള് മര്ത്യരത്രേ എന്നു ജാതികള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര്ക്കും ഭയം വരുത്തേണമേ. സേലാ.

20. Put them in fear [make them realize their frail nature], O Lord, that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
