1. ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു കാളയെയോ ഒരു ആടിനെയോ മോഷ്ടിച്ചു അറുക്കുകയാകട്ടെ വിലക്കുകയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്താല് അവന് ഒരു കാളെക്കു അഞ്ചു കാളയെയും, ഒരു ആടിന്നു നാലു ആടിനെയും പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.
ലൂക്കോസ് 19:8

1. If a man steale an oxe or a sheepe, and kill it or sell it, he shall restore fiue oxen for the oxe, and foure sheepe for the sheepe.

2. കള്ളന് വീടു മുറിക്കുമ്പോള് പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു അടികൊണ്ടു മരിച്ചുപോയാല് അവനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു രക്തപാതകം ഇല്ല.

2. If a thiefe bee founde breaking vp, and be smitten that he dye, no blood shall be shed for him.

3. എന്നാല് അതു നേരം വെളുത്തശേഷമാകുന്നു എങ്കില് രക്തപാതകം ഉണ്ടു. കള്ളന് ശരിയായിട്ടു പ്രതിശാന്തി ചെയ്യേണം; അവന് വകയില്ലാത്തവനെങ്കില് തന്റെ മോഷണം നിമിത്തം അവനെ വില്ക്കേണം.

3. But if it be in the day light, blood shall be shed for him: for he should make full restitution: if he had not wherewith, then shoulde he bee solde for his theft.

4. മോഷണവസ്തുവായ കാളയെയോ കഴുതയെയോ ആടിനെയോ ജീവനോടെ അവന്റെ കൈവശം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചാല് അവന് ഇരട്ടി പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

4. If the theft bee founde with him, aliue, (whether it be oxe, asse, or sheepe) he shall restore the double.

5. ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു വയലോ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടമോ തീറ്റിക്കയാകട്ടെ തന്റെ കന്നുകാലിയെ അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടു അതു മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ വയലില് മേയുകയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്താല് അവന് തന്റെ വയലിലുള്ളതില് ഉത്തമമായതും തന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലുള്ളതില് ഉത്തമമായതും പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

5. If a man doe hurt fielde, or vineyarde, and put in his beast to feed in an other mans fielde, he shall recompence of the best of his owne fielde, and of the best of his owne vineyard.

6. തീ വീണു കാടു കത്തീട്ടു കറ്റക്കൂട്ടമോ വിളവോ നിലമോ വെന്തുപോയെങ്കില് തീ കത്തിച്ചവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

6. If fire breake out, and catche in ye thornes, and the stackes of corne, or the standing corne, or the fielde be consumed, he that kindled the fire shall make full restitution.

7. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടകാരന്റെ പറ്റില് പണമോ വല്ല സാധനമോ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന് ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കെ അതു അവന്റെ വീട്ടില്നിന്നു കളവുപോയാല് കള്ളനെ പിടികിട്ടി എന്നുവരികില് അവന് ഇരട്ടിപകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

7. If a man deliuer his neighbour money or stuffe to keepe, and it be stollen out of his house, if the thiefe be found, he shall pay the double.

8. കള്ളനെ പിടികിട്ടാതിരുന്നാല് ആ വീട്ടുകാരന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വസ്തുവിന്മേല് കൈ വെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നു അറിവാന് അവനെ ദൈവ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

8. If the thiefe be not founde, then the master of the house shalbe brought vnto the Iudges to sweare, whether he hath put his hande vnto his neighbours good, or no.

9. കാണാതെപോയ കാള, കഴുത, ആടു, വസ്ത്രം മുതലായ യാതൊന്നിനെയും സംബന്ധിച്ചു ഇതു എനിക്കുള്ളതു എന്നു ഒരുവന് പറഞ്ഞു കുറ്റം ചുമത്തിയാല് ഇരുപാട്ടുകാരുടെയും കാര്യം ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് വരേണം; കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു ദൈവം വിധിക്കുന്നവന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു ഇരട്ടി പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

9. In all maner of trespasse, whether it bee for oxen, for asse, for sheepe, for raiment, or for any maner of lost thing, which an other chalengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the iudges, and whom the Iudges condemne, he shall pay the double vnto his neighbour.

10. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ പക്കല് കഴുത, കാള, ആടു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഒരു മൃഗത്തെ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന് ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കെ അതു ചത്തുപോകയോ അതിന്നു വല്ല കേടു തട്ടുകയോ ആരും കാണാതെ കളവുപോകയോ ചെയ്താല്

10. If a man deliuer vnto his neighbour to keepe asse, or oxe, or sheepe, or any beast, and it die, or be hurt, or taken away by enemies, and no man see it,

11. കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വസ്തുവിന്മേല് അവന് കൈ വെച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയെക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള സത്യം ഇരുപാട്ടുകാര്ക്കും തീര്ച്ച ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഉടമസ്ഥന് അതു സമ്മതിക്കേണം; മറ്റവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.
എബ്രായർ 6:16

11. An othe of the Lord shalbe betweene the twaine, that hee hath not put his hande vnto his neighbours good, and the owner of it shall take the othe, and he shall not make it good:

12. എന്നാല് അതു അവന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നു കളവുപോയി എന്നു വരികില് അവന് അതിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥന്നു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

12. But if it be stollen from him, he shall make restitution vnto the owner thereof.

13. അതു കടിച്ചു കീറിപ്പോയെങ്കില് അവന് അതിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; കടിച്ചു കീറിപ്പോയതിന്നു അവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.

13. If it be torne in pieces, he shall bring recorde, and shall not make that good, which is deuoured.

14. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു വായ്പ വാങ്ങീട്ടു ഉടമസ്ഥന് അരികെ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കെ വല്ല കേടു ഭവിക്കയോ ചത്തുപോകയോ ചെയ്താല് അവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

14. And if a man borow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or els die, the owner thereof not being by, he shall surely make it good.

15. ഉടമസ്ഥന് അരികെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാല് അവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ; അതു കൂലിക്കു വാങ്ങിയതെങ്കില് അതിന്നു കൂലിയുണ്ടല്ലോ.

15. If the owner thereof bee by, hee shall not make it good: for if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.

16. വിവാഹത്തിന്നു നിയമിക്കപ്പെടാത്ത ഒരു കന്യകയെ ഒരുത്തന് വശീകരിച്ചു അവളോടു കൂടെ ശയിച്ചാല് അവന് സ്ത്രീധനം കൊടുത്തു അവളെ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കേണം.

16. And if a man entise a maide that is not betrothed, and lie with her, hee shall endowe her, and take her to his wife.

17. അവളെ അവന്നു കൊടുപ്പാന് അവളുടെ അപ്പന്നു അശേഷം മനസ്സില്ലെങ്കില് അവന് കന്യകമാരുടെ സ്ത്രീധനത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം പണം കൊടുക്കേണം.

17. If her father refuse to giue her to him, hee shall pay money, according to ye dowry of virgins.

18. ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരത്തിയെ നീ ജീവനോടെ വെക്കരുതു.

18. Thou shalt not suffer a witch to liue.

19. മൃഗത്തോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

19. Whosoeuer lieth with a beast, shall dye the death.

20. യഹോവേക്കു മാത്രമല്ലാതെ വേറെ ദൈവങ്ങള്ക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കുന്നവനെ നിര്മ്മൂലമാക്കേണം.

20. Hee that offereth vnto any gods, saue vnto the Lord onely, shalbe slaine.

21. പരദേശിയെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുതു ഉപദ്രവിക്കയുമരുതു; നിങ്ങള് മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തു പരദേശികള് ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. Moreouer, thou shalt not do iniurie to a stranger, neither oppresse him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

22. വിധവയെയും അനാഥനെയും നിങ്ങള് ക്ളേശിപ്പിക്കരുതു.

22. Ye shall not trouble any widowe, nor fatherlesse childe.

23. അവരെ വല്ലപ്രകാരത്തിലും ക്ളേശിപ്പിക്കയും അവര് എന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് ഞാന് അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേള്ക്കും;

23. If thou vexe or trouble such, and so he call and cry vnto me, I will surely heare his cry.

24. എന്റെ കോപവും ജ്വലിക്കും; ഞാന് വാള്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ത്രീകള് വിധവമാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങള് അനാഥരുമായി തീരും.

24. Then shall my wrath be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wiues shall be widowes, and your children fatherlesse.

25. എന്റെ ജനത്തില് നിന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള ഒരു ദരിദ്രന്നു പണം വായ്പ കൊടുത്താല് പൊലികടക്കാരനെപ്പോലെ ഇരിക്കരുതു; അവനോടു പലിശ വാങ്ങുകയും അരുതു.

25. If thou lende money to my people, that is, to the poore with thee, thou shalt not bee as an vsurer vnto him: yee shall not oppresse him with vsurie.

26. നീ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വസ്ത്രം പണയം വാങ്ങിയാല് സൂര്യന് അസ്തമിക്കുംമുമ്പെ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.

26. If thou take thy neighbours rayment to pledge, thou shalt restore it vnto him before the sunne go downe:

27. അതുമാത്രമല്ലോ അവന്റെ പുതപ്പു; അതുമാത്രമല്ലോ അവന്റെ ശരീരം മൂടുന്ന വസ്ത്രം; അവന് പിന്നെ എന്തൊന്നു പുതെച്ചു കിടക്കും? അവന് എന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് കേള്ക്കും; ഞാന് കൃപയുള്ളവനല്ലോ.

27. For that is his couering only, and this is his garment for his skin: wherin shall he sleepe? therefore when he crieth vnto mee, I will heare him: for I am mercifull.

28. നീ ദൈവത്തെ ദുഷിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയെ ശപിക്കയുമരുതു.

28. Thou shalt not raile vpon the Iudges, neither speake euil of the ruler of thy people.

29. നിന്റെ വിളവും ദ്രാവകവര്ഗ്ഗവും അര്പ്പിപ്പാന് താമസിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ആദ്യജാതനെ എനിക്കു തരേണം.

29. Thine abundance and thy licour shalt thou not keepe backe. The first borne of thy sonnes shalt thou giue me.

30. നിന്റെ കാളകളിലും ആടുകളിലും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ; അതു ഏഴു ദിവസം തള്ളയോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; എട്ടാം ദിവസം അതിനെ എനിക്കു തരേണം.

30. Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen and with thy sheepe: seuen dayes it shall bee with his damme, and the eight day thou shalt giue it me.

31. നിങ്ങള് എനിക്കു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം; കാട്ടുമൃഗം കടിച്ചുകീറിയ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു. നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ നായ്ക്കള്ക്കു ഇട്ടുകളയേണം.

31. Ye shall be an holy people vnto me, neither shall ye eate any flesh that is torne of beastes in the fielde: ye shall cast it to the dogge.
