1. ഏഴാം ആണ്ടു അഞ്ചാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരില് ചിലര് യഹോവയോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പാന് വന്നു എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇരുന്നു.

1. It was the seventh year of our captivity, in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month. Some of the older leaders of Israel came to ask about the Lord and sat down in front of me.

2. അപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

2. The Lord spoke his word to me, saying:

3. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരോടു സംസാരിച്ചുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് എന്നോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പാന് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവോ? നിങ്ങള് എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചാല്, എന്നാണ, ഞാന് ഉത്തരമരുളുകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു അവരോടു പറയേണം.

3. Human, speak to the older leaders of Israel and say to them: 'This is what the Lord God says: Did you come to ask me questions? As surely as I live, I will not let you ask me questions.'

4. Will you judge them? Will you judge them, human? Let them know the hateful things their ancestors did.

5. Say to them: 'This is what the Lord God says: When I chose Israel, I made a promise to the descendants of Jacob. I made myself known to them in Egypt, and I promised them, 'I am the Lord your God.'

6. ഞാന് അവരെ മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെ'ടുവിക്കുമെന്നും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി നോക്കിവെച്ചിരുന്നതും പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്നതും സര്വ്വദേശങ്ങളുടെയും മഹത്വമായിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശത്തിലേക്കു അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരുമെന്നും ആ നാളില് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യംചെയ്തു.

6. At that time I promised them I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had found for them, a fertile land, the best land in the world.

7. അവരോടുനിങ്ങള് ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളവിന് ; മിസ്രയീമ്യ ബിംബങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ മലിനമാക്കരുതു, ഞാനത്രേ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

7. I said to them, 'Each one of you must throw away the hateful idols you have seen and liked. Don't make yourselves unclean with the idols of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.'

8. അവരോ എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പാന് മനസ്സില്ലാതെ ഇരുന്നു; അവരില് ഒരുത്തനും തന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മുമ്പില് ഇരുന്ന മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളകയോ മിസ്രയീമ്യബിംബങ്ങളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല; ആകയാല് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു എന്റെ കോപം അവരില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കും എന്നും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

8. 'But they turned against me and refused to listen to me. They did not throw away the hateful idols which they saw and liked; they did not give up the idols of Egypt. Then I decided to pour out my anger against them while they were still in Egypt.

9. എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാര്ക്കയും ഞാന് അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു എന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതു കാണുകയും ചെയ്ത ജാതികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമാകാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

9. But I acted for the sake of my name so it would not be dishonored in full view of the nations where the Israelites lived. I made myself known to the Israelites with a promise to bring them out of Egypt while the nations were watching.

10. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു മരുഭൂമിയില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

10. So I took them out of Egypt and brought them into the desert.

11. ഞാന് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു, എന്റെ വിധികളെ അവരെ അറിയിച്ചു; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും.

11. I gave them my rules and told them about my laws, by which people will live if they obey them.

12. ഞാന് അവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കും അവര്ക്കും ഇടയില് അടയാളമായിരിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെയും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

12. I also gave them my Sabbaths to be a sign between us so they would know that I am the Lord who made them holy.

13. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമോ മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; അവര് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതെ എന്റെ വിധികളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെയും അവര് ഏറ്റവും അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; ആകയാല് ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു അവരെ സംഹരിക്കുമെന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

13. ''But in the desert Israel turned against me. They did not follow my rules, and they rejected my laws, by which people will live if they obey them. They dishonored my Sabbaths. Then I decided to pour out my anger against them and destroy them in the desert.

14. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് അവരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതു കണ്ട ജാതികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അതിന് നിമിത്തം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

14. But I acted for the sake of my name so it would not be dishonored in full view of the nations who watched as I had brought the Israelites out of Egypt.

15. അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് എന്റെ വിധികളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളില് നടക്കാതെ എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയാല്

15. And in the desert I swore to the Israelites that I would not bring them into the land I had given them. It is a fertile land, the best land in the world.

16. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തിരുന്നതും പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്നതും സര്വ്വദേശങ്ങളുടെയും മഹത്വമായിരിക്കുന്നതും ആയ ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ കൊണ്ടു വരികയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്തു.

16. This was because they rejected my laws and did not follow my rules. They dishonored my Sabbaths and wanted to worship their idols.

17. എങ്കിലും അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം എനിക്കു അവരോടു അയ്യോഭാവം തോന്നി.

17. But I had pity on them. I did not destroy them or put an end to them in the desert.

18. ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവരുടെ മക്കളോടുനിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ചട്ടങ്ങളില് നടക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അരുതു;

18. I said to their children in the desert, 'Don't live by the rules of your parents, or obey their laws. Don't make yourselves unclean with their idols.

19. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടന്നു എന്റെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു അനുഷ്ഠിപ്പിന് ;

19. I am the Lord your God. Live by my rules, obey my laws, and follow them.

20. എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പിന് ; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവ എനിക്കും നിങ്ങള്ക്കും ഇടയില് അടയാളമായിരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

20. Keep my Sabbaths holy, and they will be a sign between me and you. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.'

21. എന്നാല് മക്കളും എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; അവര് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചില്ല; എന്റെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടന്നതുമില്ല; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; അവര് എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; ആകയാല് ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു എന്റെ കോപം അവരില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

21. 'But the children turned against me. They did not live by my rules, nor were they careful to obey my laws, by which people will live if they obey them. They dishonored my Sabbaths. So I decided to pour out my anger against them in the desert.

22. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈ പിന് വലിക്കയും ഞാന് അവരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതു കണ്ട ജാതികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമാകാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതുനിമിത്തം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

22. But I held back my anger. I acted for the sake of my name so it would not be dishonored in full view of the nations who watched as I brought the Israelites out.

23. അവര് എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കാതെ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അവരുടെ കണ്ണു അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളിലേക്കു ചെല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു,

23. And in the desert I swore to the Israelites that I would scatter them among the nations and spread them among the countries,

24. ഞാന് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിന്നിച്ചു രാജ്യങ്ങളില് ചിതറിച്ചുകളയുമെന്നു മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി അവരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തു.

24. because they had not obeyed my laws. They had rejected my rules and dishonored my Sabbaths and worshiped the idols of their parents.

25. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത ചട്ടങ്ങളെയും ജീവരക്ഷ പ്രാപിപ്പാന് ഉതകാത്ത വിധികളെയും കൊടുത്തു.

25. I also allowed them to follow rules that were not good and laws by which they could not live.

26. ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ ശൂന്യമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെയും അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചതില് ഞാന് അവരെ അവരുടെ സ്വന്തവഴിപാടുകളാല് അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

26. I let the Israelites make themselves unclean by the gifts they brought to their gods when they sacrificed their first children in the fire. I wanted to terrify them so they would know that I am the Lord.'

27. അതുകൊണ്ടു മരുഷ്യപുത്രാ നീ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് എന്നോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതില് എന്നെ ദുഷിക്കയുംകൂടെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. So, human, speak to the people of Israel. Say to them, 'This is what the Lord God says: Your ancestors spoke against me by being unfaithful to me in another way.

28. അവര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാന് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞാന് അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നശേഷം അവര്ഉയര്ന്ന എല്ലാകുന്നും തഴെച്ച സകലവൃക്ഷവും നോക്കി, അവിടെ ഹനനബലികളെ അര്പ്പിക്കയും കോപ ഹേതുകമായ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കയും സൌരഭ്യവാസന നിവേദിക്കയും പാനിയബലികളെ പകരുകയും ചെയ്തു.

28. When I had brought them into the land I promised to give them, they saw every high hill and every leafy tree. There they offered their sacrifices to gods. They brought offerings that made me angry and burned their incense and poured out their drink offerings.

29. നിങ്ങള് പോകുന്ന പൂജാഗിരി എന്തു എന്നു ഞാന് അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചു; ഇന്നുവരെയും അതിന്നു പൂജാഗിരി എന്നു പേര് പറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു.

29. Then I said to them: What is this high place where you go to worship?'' (It is still called High Place today.)

30. 'So say to the people of Israel: 'This is what the Lord God says: Are you going to make yourselves unclean as your ancestors did? Are you going to be unfaithful and desire their hateful idols?

31. നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെ കഴിക്കുന്നതിനാലും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ അഗ്നിപ്രവശേം ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നതിനാലും നിങ്ങള് ഇന്നുവരെ നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങള് ചോദിച്ചാല് ഞാന് ഉത്തരമരുളുമോ? നിങ്ങള് ചോദിച്ചാല്, എന്നാണ ഞാന് ഉത്തരമരുളുകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31. When you offer your children as gifts and sacrifice them in the fire, you are making yourselves unclean with all your idols even today. So, people of Israel, should I let you ask me questions? As surely as I live, says the Lord God, I will not accept questions from you.

32. നാം മരത്തെയും കല്ലിനെയും സേവിച്ചു, ജാതികളെപ്പോലെയും ദേശങ്ങളിലെ വംശങ്ങളെപ്പോലെയും ആയിത്തീരുക എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതായി നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിലെ വിചാരം ഒരിക്കലും നടക്കയില്ല.

32. 'What you want will not come true. You say, 'We want to be like the other nations, like the people in other lands. We want to worship idols made of wood and stone.'

33. എന്നാണ, ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും ചൊരിയുന്ന ക്രോധംകൊണ്ടും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ഭരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

33. As surely as I live, says the Lord God, I will use my great power and strength and anger to rule over you.

34. ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും ചൊരിയുന്ന ക്രോധംകൊണ്ടും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കയും നിങ്ങള് ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങളില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

34. I will bring you out from the foreign nations. With my great power and strength and anger I will gather you from the lands where you are scattered.

35. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അവിടെവെച്ചു മുഖാമുഖമായി നിങ്ങളോടു വ്യവഹരിക്കും.

35. I will bring you among the nations as I brought your ancestors into the desert with Moses. There I will judge you face to face.

36. മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്റെ മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ഞാന് വ്യവഹരിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളോടും വ്യവഹരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

36. I will judge you the same way I judged your ancestors in the desert of the land of Egypt, says the Lord God.

37. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കോലിന് കീഴെ കടത്തി നിയമത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധനത്തില് ഉള്പ്പെടുത്തും.

37. I will count you like sheep and will bring you into line with my agreement.

38. എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു അതിക്രമിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; അവര് ചെന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന രാജ്യത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് അവരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തു അവര് കടക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

38. I will get rid of those who refuse to obey me and who turn against me. I will bring them out of the land where they are now living, but they will never enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

39. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് ചെന്നു ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ സേവിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; എന്നാല് പിന്നെത്തേതില് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കും; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെകൊണ്ടും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും ഇനി അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ഇല്ല.

39. ''This is what the Lord God says: People of Israel, go serve your idols for now. But later you will listen to me; you will not continue to dishonor my holy name with your gifts and gods.

40. On my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, all Israel will serve me in the land, says the Lord God. There I will accept you. There I will expect your offerings, the first harvest of your offerings, and all your holy gifts.

41. I will accept you like the pleasing smell of sacrifices when I bring you out from the foreign nations and gather you from the lands where you are scattered. Then through you I will show how holy I am so the nations will see.

42. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാന് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശമായ യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവരുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

42. When I bring you into the land of Israel, the land I promised your ancestors, you will know that I am the Lord.

43. അവിടെവെച്ചു നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികളെയും നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മലിനമാക്കിയ സകലക്രിയകളെയും ഔര്ക്കും; നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്ത സകല ദോഷവുംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ വെറുപ്പുതോന്നും.

43. There you will remember everything you did that made you unclean, and then you will hate yourselves for all the evil things you have done.

44. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദോഷമായുള്ള വഴികള്ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണമല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ വഷളായുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവുമല്ല, എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം തന്നേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

44. I will deal with you for the sake of my name, not because of your evil ways or unclean actions. Then you will know I am the Lord, people of Israel, says the Lord God.'' Babylon, the Lord's Sword

45. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

45. Now the Lord spoke his word to me, saying:

46. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിന്റെ മുഖം തെക്കോട്ടു തിരിച്ചു ദക്ഷിണദേശത്തോടു പ്രസംഗിച്ചു തെക്കെദിക്കിലെ കാട്ടിനോടു പ്രവചിച്ചു തെക്കുള്ള കാട്ടിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു

46. 'Human, look toward the south. Prophesy against the south and against the forest of the southern area.

47. യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്ക്ക; യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് നിനക്കു തീ വേക്കും; അതു നിന്നില് പച്ചയായുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷത്തെയും ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന സകലവൃക്ഷത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാലകെട്ടുപോകയില്ല; തെക്കുമുതല് വടക്കുവരെയുള്ള മുഖങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അതിനാല് കരിഞ്ഞുപോകും.

47. Say to that forest: 'Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord God says: I am ready to start a fire in you that will destroy all your green trees and all your dry trees. The flames that burn will not be put out. Every face from south to north will feel their heat.

48. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അതു കത്തിച്ചു എന്നു സകലജഡവും കാണും; അതു കെട്ടുപോകയുമില്ല.

48. Then all the people will see that I, the Lord, have started the fire. It will not be put out.''

49. അപ്പോള് ഞാന് അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവേ, ഇവന് മറപൊരുള് അല്ലോ പറയുന്നതു എന്നു അവര് എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

49. Then I said, 'Ah, Lord God! The people are saying about me, 'He is only telling stories.''
