1. ഏഴാം ആണ്ടു അഞ്ചാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരില് ചിലര് യഹോവയോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പാന് വന്നു എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇരുന്നു.

1. And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth [month], the tenth of the month, [that] certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of Jehovah, and they sat before me.

2. അപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

2. And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

3. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരോടു സംസാരിച്ചുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് എന്നോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പാന് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവോ? നിങ്ങള് എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചാല്, എന്നാണ, ഞാന് ഉത്തരമരുളുകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു അവരോടു പറയേണം.

3. Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Are ye come to inquire of me? [As] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.

4. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുമോ? നീ അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുമോ? നീ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ അവരോടു അറിയിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടതു

4. Wilt thou judge them, wilt thou judge, son of man? Cause them to know the abominations of their fathers,

5. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് യിസ്രായേലിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു, യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ സന്തതിയോടു കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്തു, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു എന്നെത്തന്നേ അവര്ക്കും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ നാളില്ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു എന്നു കൈ ഉയര്ത്തിയുംകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

5. and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up my hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up my hand unto them, saying, I [am] Jehovah your God,

6. ഞാന് അവരെ മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെ'ടുവിക്കുമെന്നും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി നോക്കിവെച്ചിരുന്നതും പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്നതും സര്വ്വദേശങ്ങളുടെയും മഹത്വമായിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശത്തിലേക്കു അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരുമെന്നും ആ നാളില് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യംചെയ്തു.

6. in that day I lifted up my hand unto them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the ornament of all lands;

7. അവരോടുനിങ്ങള് ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളവിന് ; മിസ്രയീമ്യ ബിംബങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ മലിനമാക്കരുതു, ഞാനത്രേ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

7. and I said unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I [am] Jehovah your God.

8. അവരോ എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പാന് മനസ്സില്ലാതെ ഇരുന്നു; അവരില് ഒരുത്തനും തന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മുമ്പില് ഇരുന്ന മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളകയോ മിസ്രയീമ്യബിംബങ്ങളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല; ആകയാല് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു എന്റെ കോപം അവരില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കും എന്നും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

8. But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: none of them cast away the abominations of his eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt. Then I thought to pour out my fury upon them, so as to accomplish mine anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

9. എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാര്ക്കയും ഞാന് അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു എന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതു കാണുകയും ചെയ്ത ജാതികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമാകാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

9. But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they were, in whose sight I had made myself known unto them in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

10. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു മരുഭൂമിയില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

10. And I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

11. ഞാന് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു, എന്റെ വിധികളെ അവരെ അറിയിച്ചു; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും.

11. And I gave them my statutes, and made known unto them mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them.

12. ഞാന് അവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കും അവര്ക്കും ഇടയില് അടയാളമായിരിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെയും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

12. And I also gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I [am] Jehovah that hallow them.

13. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമോ മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; അവര് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതെ എന്റെ വിധികളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെയും അവര് ഏറ്റവും അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; ആകയാല് ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു അവരെ സംഹരിക്കുമെന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

13. But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they rejected mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them; and my sabbaths they greatly profaned: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

14. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് അവരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതു കണ്ട ജാതികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അതിന് നിമിത്തം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

14. But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.

15. അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് എന്റെ വിധികളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളില് നടക്കാതെ എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയാല്

15. And I also lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land that I had given [them], flowing with milk and honey, which is the ornament of all lands;

16. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തിരുന്നതും പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്നതും സര്വ്വദേശങ്ങളുടെയും മഹത്വമായിരിക്കുന്നതും ആയ ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ കൊണ്ടു വരികയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്തു.

16. because they rejected mine ordinances and walked not in my statutes, and profaned my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

17. എങ്കിലും അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം എനിക്കു അവരോടു അയ്യോഭാവം തോന്നി.

17. But mine eye spared them so as not to destroy them, neither did I make a full end of them in the wilderness.

18. ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവരുടെ മക്കളോടുനിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ചട്ടങ്ങളില് നടക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അരുതു;

18. And I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk not in the statutes of your fathers, neither keep their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

19. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടന്നു എന്റെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു അനുഷ്ഠിപ്പിന് ;

19. I [am] Jehovah your God: walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them;

20. എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പിന് ; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവ എനിക്കും നിങ്ങള്ക്കും ഇടയില് അടയാളമായിരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

20. and hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I [am] Jehovah your God.

21. എന്നാല് മക്കളും എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; അവര് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചില്ല; എന്റെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടന്നതുമില്ല; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; അവര് എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; ആകയാല് ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു എന്റെ കോപം അവരില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

21. And the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live by them; they profaned my sabbaths: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish mine anger against them in the wilderness.

22. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈ പിന് വലിക്കയും ഞാന് അവരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതു കണ്ട ജാതികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമാകാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതുനിമിത്തം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

22. But I withdrew my hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.

23. അവര് എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കാതെ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അവരുടെ കണ്ണു അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളിലേക്കു ചെല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു,

23. I lifted up my hand also unto them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations, and disperse them through the countries;

24. ഞാന് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിന്നിച്ചു രാജ്യങ്ങളില് ചിതറിച്ചുകളയുമെന്നു മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി അവരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തു.

24. because they performed not mine ordinances, and rejected my statutes, and profaned my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

25. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത ചട്ടങ്ങളെയും ജീവരക്ഷ പ്രാപിപ്പാന് ഉതകാത്ത വിധികളെയും കൊടുത്തു.

25. And I also gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances whereby they should not live;

26. ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ ശൂന്യമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെയും അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചതില് ഞാന് അവരെ അവരുടെ സ്വന്തവഴിപാടുകളാല് അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

26. and I defiled them by their own gifts, in that they devoted all that opened the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I [am] Jehovah.

27. അതുകൊണ്ടു മരുഷ്യപുത്രാ നീ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് എന്നോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതില് എന്നെ ദുഷിക്കയുംകൂടെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In this moreover have your fathers blasphemed me, in that they have wrought unfaithfulness against me.

28. അവര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാന് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞാന് അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നശേഷം അവര്ഉയര്ന്ന എല്ലാകുന്നും തഴെച്ച സകലവൃക്ഷവും നോക്കി, അവിടെ ഹനനബലികളെ അര്പ്പിക്കയും കോപ ഹേതുകമായ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കയും സൌരഭ്യവാസന നിവേദിക്കയും പാനിയബലികളെ പകരുകയും ചെയ്തു.

28. When I had brought them into the land which I had lifted up my hand to give unto them, then they saw every high hill and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering; and there they placed their sweet savour, and there poured out their drink-offerings.

29. നിങ്ങള് പോകുന്ന പൂജാഗിരി എന്തു എന്നു ഞാന് അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചു; ഇന്നുവരെയും അതിന്നു പൂജാഗിരി എന്നു പേര് പറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു.

29. And I said unto them, What is the high place whither ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.

30. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ മര്യാദപ്രകാരം നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാനും അവരുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്വാനും പോകുന്നുവോ?

30. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Do ye defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers? and do ye commit fornication after their abominations?

31. നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെ കഴിക്കുന്നതിനാലും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ അഗ്നിപ്രവശേം ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നതിനാലും നിങ്ങള് ഇന്നുവരെ നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങള് ചോദിച്ചാല് ഞാന് ഉത്തരമരുളുമോ? നിങ്ങള് ചോദിച്ചാല്, എന്നാണ ഞാന് ഉത്തരമരുളുകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31. And when ye offer your gifts, making your sons to pass through the fire, ye defile yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day; and shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? [As] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.

32. നാം മരത്തെയും കല്ലിനെയും സേവിച്ചു, ജാതികളെപ്പോലെയും ദേശങ്ങളിലെ വംശങ്ങളെപ്പോലെയും ആയിത്തീരുക എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതായി നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിലെ വിചാരം ഒരിക്കലും നടക്കയില്ല.

32. And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, in serving wood and stone.

33. എന്നാണ, ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും ചൊരിയുന്ന ക്രോധംകൊണ്ടും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ഭരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 6:17

33. [As] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, will I reign over you.

34. ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും ചൊരിയുന്ന ക്രോധംകൊണ്ടും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കയും നിങ്ങള് ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങളില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

34. And I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out;

35. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അവിടെവെച്ചു മുഖാമുഖമായി നിങ്ങളോടു വ്യവഹരിക്കും.

35. and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I enter into judgment with you face to face.

36. മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്റെ മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ഞാന് വ്യവഹരിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളോടും വ്യവഹരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

36. Like as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I enter into judgment with you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

37. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കോലിന് കീഴെ കടത്തി നിയമത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധനത്തില് ഉള്പ്പെടുത്തും.

37. And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

38. എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചു അതിക്രമിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; അവര് ചെന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന രാജ്യത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് അവരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തു അവര് കടക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

38. And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me; I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

39. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് ചെന്നു ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ സേവിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; എന്നാല് പിന്നെത്തേതില് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കും; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെകൊണ്ടും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും ഇനി അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ഇല്ല.

39. As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Go ye, serve every one his idols henceforth also, if none of you will hearken unto me; but profane my holy name no more with your gifts and with your idols.

40. എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപര്വ്വതത്തില് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉന്നത പര്വ്വതത്തില് തന്നേ, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ അവിടെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു എന്നെ സേവിക്കുമെന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അവിടെ ഞാന് അവരെ സ്വീകരിക്കും; അവിടെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെയും ആദ്യദാനങ്ങളെയും സകലനിവേദ്യങ്ങളെയും ആഗ്രഹിക്കും.

40. For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, there shall all the house of Israel serve me, the whole of it, in the land; there will I accept them, and there will I require your heave-offerings and the first-fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

41. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു, നിങ്ങള് ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നരാജ്യങ്ങളില് നിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി സ്വീകരിക്കും; അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ജാതികള് കാണ്കെ നിങ്ങളില് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടും.

41. As a sweet savour will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you in the sight of the nations.

42. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാന് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശമായ യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവരുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

42. And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when I have brought you into the land of Israel, into the country which I lifted up my hand to give to your fathers.

43. അവിടെവെച്ചു നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികളെയും നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മലിനമാക്കിയ സകലക്രിയകളെയും ഔര്ക്കും; നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്ത സകല ദോഷവുംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ വെറുപ്പുതോന്നും.

43. And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils which ye have committed.

44. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദോഷമായുള്ള വഴികള്ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണമല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ വഷളായുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവുമല്ല, എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം തന്നേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

44. And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.

45. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

45. And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

46. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിന്റെ മുഖം തെക്കോട്ടു തിരിച്ചു ദക്ഷിണദേശത്തോടു പ്രസംഗിച്ചു തെക്കെദിക്കിലെ കാട്ടിനോടു പ്രവചിച്ചു തെക്കുള്ള കാട്ടിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു

46. Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop [words] against the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;

47. യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്ക്ക; യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് നിനക്കു തീ വേക്കും; അതു നിന്നില് പച്ചയായുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷത്തെയും ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന സകലവൃക്ഷത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാലകെട്ടുപോകയില്ല; തെക്കുമുതല് വടക്കുവരെയുള്ള മുഖങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അതിനാല് കരിഞ്ഞുപോകും.

47. and say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flashing flame shall not be quenched; and all that it meets from the south to the north shall be burned thereby.

48. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അതു കത്തിച്ചു എന്നു സകലജഡവും കാണും; അതു കെട്ടുപോകയുമില്ല.

48. And all flesh shall see that I Jehovah have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

49. അപ്പോള് ഞാന് അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവേ, ഇവന് മറപൊരുള് അല്ലോ പറയുന്നതു എന്നു അവര് എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

49. And I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
