1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of the Lord came to me. He said,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോര്പ്രഭുവിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിഗളിച്ചുപോയി; നീ ദൈവമല്ല മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രമായിരിക്കെഞാന് ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാന് സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ ദൈവാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, 'This is what the Lord God says: ''You are very proud! And you say, 'I am a god! I sit on the seat of gods in the middle of the seas.' ''But you are a man and not God! You only think you are a god.

3. നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു--നീ ദാനീയേലിലും ജ്ഞാനിയല്ലോ; നീ അറിയാതവണ്ണം മറെച്ചുവെക്കാകുന്ന ഒരു രഹസ്യവുമില്ല;

3. You think you are wiser than Daniel and that no secret is hidden from you.

4. നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടും വിവേകംകൊണ്ടും നീ ധനം സമ്പാദിച്ചു പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും നിന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെച്ചു;

4. Through your wisdom and understanding you have gotten riches for yourself. And you put gold and silver in your treasuries.

5. നീ മഹാ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു കച്ചവടത്താല് ധനം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ധനംനിമിത്തം ഗര്വ്വിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു--

5. Through your great wisdom and trade, you have made your riches grow. And now you are proud because of those riches.

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

6. 'So this is what the Lord God says: Tyre, you thought you were like a god.

7. നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിക്കയാല് ഞാന് ജാതികളില് ഉഗ്രന്മാരായ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും; അവര് നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനശോഭയുടെ നേരെ വാളൂരി നിന്റെ പ്രഭയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

7. I will bring strangers to fight against you. They are most terrible among the nations! They will pull out their swords and use them against the beautiful things your wisdom brought you. They will ruin your glory.

8. അവര് നിന്നെ കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കും; നീ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നിഹതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും.

8. They will bring you down to the grave. You will be like a sailor who died at sea.

9. നിന്നെ കുത്തിക്കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ കയ്യില് നീ ദൈവമല്ല, മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രം ആയിരിക്കെ, നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ മുമ്പില്ഞാന് ദൈവം എന്നു നീ പറയുമോ?

9. That person will kill you. Will you still say, 'I am a god'? No! He will have you in his power. You will see that you are a man, not God!

10. അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ കയ്യാല് നീ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10. Strangers will treat you like a foreigner and kill you, because I gave the command!'' This is what the Lord God said.

12. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോര് രാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു! നീ മാതൃകാ മുദ്രയാകുന്നു; നീ ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണനും സൌന്ദര്യസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണനും തന്നേ.

12. Son of man, sing this sad song about the king of Tyre. Say to him, 'This is what the Lord God says: ''You were the perfect man� so full of wisdom and perfectly handsome.

13. നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടമായ ഏദെനില് ആയിരുന്നു; താമ്രമണി, പീതരത്നം, വജ്രം, പുഷ്പരാഗം, ഗോമേദകം, സൂര്യകാന്തം, നീലക്കല്ലു, മാണിക്യം, മരതകം മുതലായ സകലരത്നങ്ങളും നിന്നെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു; നിന്നെ തീര്ത്തനാളില് നിന്നില് ഉള്ള തടങ്ങളുടെയും കൂടുകളുടെയും പണി പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

13. You were in Eden, the Garden of God. You had every precious stone� rubies, topaz, and diamonds, beryls, onyx, and jasper, sapphires, turquoise, and emeralds. And each of these stones was set in gold. You were given this beauty on the day you were created. God made you strong.

14. നീ ചിറകു വിടര്ത്തു മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബ് ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധദേവപര്വ്വതത്തില് ഇരുത്തിയിരുന്നു; നീ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുപോന്നു.

14. You were one of the chosen Cherubs who spread your wings over my throne. I put you on the holy mountain of God. You walked among the jewels that sparkled like fire.

15. നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച നാള്മുതല് നിങ്കല് നീതികേടു കണ്ടതുവരെ നീ നടപ്പില് നഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു.

15. You were good and honest when I created you, but then you became evil.

16. നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ അന്തര്ഭാഗം സാഹസംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞു നീ പാപം ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു എണ്ണി ദേവപര്വ്വതത്തില് നിന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

16. Your business brought you many riches. But they also put cruelty inside you, and you sinned. So I treated you like something unclean and threw you off the mountain of God. You were one of the chosen Cherubs who spread your wings over my throne. But I forced you to leave the jewels that sparkled like fire.

17. നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗര്വ്വിച്ചു, നിന്റെ പ്രഭനിമിത്തം നീ നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ വഷളാക്കി; ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു, രാജാക്കന്മാര് നിന്നെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

17. Your beauty made you proud. Your glory ruined your wisdom. So I threw you down to the ground, and now other kings stare at you.

18. നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബാഹുല്യംകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടും നീ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; അതു നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ കാണുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും മുമ്പില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിലത്തു ഭസ്മമാക്കിക്കളയും.

18. You did many wrong things. You were a very crooked merchant. In this way, you made the holy places unclean. So I brought fire from inside you. It burned you! You burned to ashes on the ground. Now everyone can see your shame.

19. ജാതികളില് നിന്നെ അറിയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും നിന്നെ കണ്ടു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശിഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചിട്ടു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

19. 'All the people in other nations were shocked about what happened to you. What happened to you will make people very afraid. You are finished!''

20. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

20. The word of the Lord came to me. He said,

21. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സീദോന്നു നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ചു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു

21. Son of man, look toward Sidon and speak for me against that place.

22. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസീദോനേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടുവില് എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതില് ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

22. Say, 'This is what the Lord God says: ''I am against you, Sidon! Your people will learn to respect me. I will punish Sidon. Then people will know that I am the Lord. Then they will learn that I am holy, and they will treat me that way.

23. ഞാന് അതില് മഹാമാരിയും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളില് രക്തവും അയക്കും; ചുറ്റിലും നിന്നു അതിന്റെ നേരെ വരുന്ന വാള്കൊണ്ടു നിഹതന്മാരായവര് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് വീഴും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

23. I will send disease and death to Sidon, and many people inside the city will die. Soldiers outside the city will kill many people. Then people will know that I am the Lord!''

24. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ നിന്ദിച്ചവരായി അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരിലുംനിന്നു കുത്തുന്ന പറക്കാരയും നോവിക്കുന്ന മുള്ളും ഇനി അവര്ക്കുംണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

24. 'Then the surrounding nations that hate Israel will no longer be like stinging nettles and painful thorns. And they will know that I am the Lord God.''

25. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ അവര് ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു. ജാതികള് കാണ്കെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ അവരില് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള്, ഞാന് എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു അവര് പാര്ക്കും.

25. This is what the Lord God said: 'I scattered the people of Israel among other nations, but I will gather the family of Israel together again. Then the nations will know that I am holy, and they will treat me that way. At that time the people of Israel will live in their land�I gave that land to my servant Jacob.

26. അവര് അതില് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; അതെ, അവര് വീടുകളെ പണിതു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കും; അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരായി അവരെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ഏവരിലും ഞാന് ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തുമ്പോള് അവര് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; ഞാന് അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

26. They will live safely in the land. They will build houses and plant vineyards. I will punish the nations around them that hated them. Then the people of Israel will live in safety, and they will know that I am the Lord their God.'
