1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോര്പ്രഭുവിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിഗളിച്ചുപോയി; നീ ദൈവമല്ല മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രമായിരിക്കെഞാന് ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാന് സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ ദൈവാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. Sonne of man, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man and not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,

3. നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു--നീ ദാനീയേലിലും ജ്ഞാനിയല്ലോ; നീ അറിയാതവണ്ണം മറെച്ചുവെക്കാകുന്ന ഒരു രഹസ്യവുമില്ല;

3. Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.

4. നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടും വിവേകംകൊണ്ടും നീ ധനം സമ്പാദിച്ചു പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും നിന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെച്ചു;

4. With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.

5. നീ മഹാ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു കച്ചവടത്താല് ധനം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ധനംനിമിത്തം ഗര്വ്വിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു--

5. By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

6. Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,

7. നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിക്കയാല് ഞാന് ജാതികളില് ഉഗ്രന്മാരായ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും; അവര് നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനശോഭയുടെ നേരെ വാളൂരി നിന്റെ പ്രഭയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

7. Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.

8. അവര് നിന്നെ കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കും; നീ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നിഹതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും.

8. They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.

9. നിന്നെ കുത്തിക്കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ കയ്യില് നീ ദൈവമല്ല, മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രം ആയിരിക്കെ, നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ മുമ്പില്ഞാന് ദൈവം എന്നു നീ പറയുമോ?

9. Wilt thou say then before him, that slayeth thee, I am a god? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hands of him that slayeth thee.

10. അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ കയ്യാല് നീ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10. Thou shalt die the death of the vncircumcised by the hands of stragers: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.

11. യഹോയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

11. Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

12. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോര് രാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു! നീ മാതൃകാ മുദ്രയാകുന്നു; നീ ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണനും സൌന്ദര്യസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണനും തന്നേ.

12. Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.

13. നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടമായ ഏദെനില് ആയിരുന്നു; താമ്രമണി, പീതരത്നം, വജ്രം, പുഷ്പരാഗം, ഗോമേദകം, സൂര്യകാന്തം, നീലക്കല്ലു, മാണിക്യം, മരതകം മുതലായ സകലരത്നങ്ങളും നിന്നെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു; നിന്നെ തീര്ത്തനാളില് നിന്നില് ഉള്ള തടങ്ങളുടെയും കൂടുകളുടെയും പണി പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

13. Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14. നീ ചിറകു വിടര്ത്തു മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബ് ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധദേവപര്വ്വതത്തില് ഇരുത്തിയിരുന്നു; നീ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുപോന്നു.

14. Thou art the anointed Cherub, that couereth, and I haue set thee in honour: thou wast vpon the holy mountaine of God: thou hast walked in the middes of the stones of fire.

15. നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച നാള്മുതല് നിങ്കല് നീതികേടു കണ്ടതുവരെ നീ നടപ്പില് നഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു.

15. Thou wast perfite in thy wayes from the day that thou wast created, till iniquitie was found in thee.

16. നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ അന്തര്ഭാഗം സാഹസംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞു നീ പാപം ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു എണ്ണി ദേവപര്വ്വതത്തില് നിന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

16. By the multitude of thy marchandise, they haue filled the middes of thee with crueltie, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as prophane out of the mountaine of God: and I will destroy thee, O couering Cherub from the mids of the stones of fire.

17. നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗര്വ്വിച്ചു, നിന്റെ പ്രഭനിമിത്തം നീ നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ വഷളാക്കി; ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു, രാജാക്കന്മാര് നിന്നെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

17. Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.

18. നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബാഹുല്യംകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടും നീ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; അതു നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ കാണുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും മുമ്പില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിലത്തു ഭസ്മമാക്കിക്കളയും.

18. Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, and by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.

19. ജാതികളില് നിന്നെ അറിയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും നിന്നെ കണ്ടു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശിഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചിട്ടു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

19. All they that knowe thee among the people, shalbe astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt thou be any more.

20. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

20. Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

21. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സീദോന്നു നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ചു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു

21. Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,

22. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസീദോനേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടുവില് എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതില് ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

22. And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.

23. ഞാന് അതില് മഹാമാരിയും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളില് രക്തവും അയക്കും; ചുറ്റിലും നിന്നു അതിന്റെ നേരെ വരുന്ന വാള്കൊണ്ടു നിഹതന്മാരായവര് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് വീഴും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

23. For I wil send into her pestilence, and blood into her streetes, and the slaine shall fall in the middes of her: the enemie shall come against her with the sword on euery side, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

24. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ നിന്ദിച്ചവരായി അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരിലുംനിന്നു കുത്തുന്ന പറക്കാരയും നോവിക്കുന്ന മുള്ളും ഇനി അവര്ക്കുംണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

24. And they shalbe no more a pricking thorne vnto the house of Israel, nor any grieuous thorne of all that are round about them, and despised them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord God.

25. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ അവര് ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു. ജാതികള് കാണ്കെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ അവരില് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള്, ഞാന് എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു അവര് പാര്ക്കും.

25. Thus saith the Lord God, When I shall haue gathered the house of Israel from the people where they are scattered, and shalbe sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwel in the land, that I haue giuen to my seruant Iaakob.

26. അവര് അതില് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; അതെ, അവര് വീടുകളെ പണിതു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കും; അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരായി അവരെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ഏവരിലും ഞാന് ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തുമ്പോള് അവര് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; ഞാന് അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

26. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall builde houses, and plant vineyards: yea, they shall dwell safely, when I haue executed iudgements vpon al round about them that despise them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord their God.
