1. അവന് എന്നോടുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ കാണുന്നതു തിന്നുകഈ ചുരുള് തിന്നിട്ടു ചെന്നു യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു സംസാരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
വെളിപ്പാടു വെളിപാട് 10:9

1. And he said to me, 'Son of man, eat what is offered to you; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.'

2. ഞാന് വായ്തുറന്നു, അവന് ആ ചുരുള് എനിക്കു തിന്മാന് തന്നു എന്നോടു

2. So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.

3. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ഈ ചുരുള് നീ വയറ്റില് ആക്കി ഉദരം നിറെക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് അതു തിന്നു; അതു വായില് തേന് പോലെ മധുരമായിരുന്നു.

3. And he said to me, 'Son of man, eat this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.' Then I ate it; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

4. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക.

4. And he said to me, 'Son of man, go, get you to the house of Israel, and speak with my words to them.

5. അവ്യക്തവാക്കും കനത്ത നാവും ഉള്ള ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കല് അല്ല, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലത്രേ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നതു;

5. For you are not sent to a people of foreign speech and a hard language, but to the house of Israel --

6. അവ്യക്തവാക്കും കനത്ത നാവും ഉള്ളവരായി, നിനക്കു വാക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത അനേകം ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കലല്ല; അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് ഞാന് നിന്നെ അയച്ചെങ്കില് അവര് നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

6. not to many peoples of foreign speech and a hard language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, if I sent you to such, they would listen to you.

7. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമോ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പാന് അവര്ക്കും മനസ്സില്ലല്ലോ; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും കടുത്ത നെറ്റിയും കഠിനഹൃദയവും ഉള്ളവരത്രെ.

7. But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they are not willing to listen to me; because all the house of Israel are of a hard forehead and of a stubborn heart.

8. എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിന്റെ മുഖം അവരുടെ മുഖത്തിന്നു നേരെ കഠിനവും നിന്റെ നെറ്റി അവരുടെ നെറ്റിക്കു നേരെ കടുപ്പവും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. Behold, I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead hard against their foreheads.

9. ഞാന് നിന്റെ നെറ്റി തീക്കല്ലിനെക്കാള് കടുപ്പമുള്ള വജ്രംപോലെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമെങ്കിലും നീ അവരെ പേടിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നോട്ടം കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു.

9. Like adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead; fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.'

10. അവന് പിന്നെയും എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാന് നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേട്ടു ഹൃദയത്തില് കൈക്കൊള്ക.

10. Moreover he said to me, 'Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.

11. നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന് പുത്രന്മാരായ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു, അവര് കേട്ടാലും കേള്ക്കാഞ്ഞാലും അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറക.

11. And go, get you to the exiles, to your people, and say to them, `Thus says the Lord GOD'; whether they hear or refuse to hear.'

12. അപ്പോള് ആത്മാവു എന്നെ എടുത്തുയഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം സ്വസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു ഞാന് വലിയ മുഴക്കത്തോടെ ഒരു ശബ്ദം എന്റെ പിറകില് കേട്ടു.

12. Then the Spirit lifted me up, and as the glory of the LORD arose from its place, I heard behind me the sound of a great earthquake;

13. ജീവികളുടെ ചിറകു തമ്മില് തട്ടുന്ന ഒച്ചയും അവയുടെ അരികെയുള്ള ചക്രങ്ങളുടെ ഇരെച്ചലും വലിയ മുഴക്കമുള്ളോരു ശബ്ദവും ഞാന് കേട്ടു.

13. it was the sound of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the sound of the wheels beside them, that sounded like a great earthquake.

14. ആത്മാവു എന്നെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോയി; ഞാന് വ്യസനത്തോടും മനസ്സിന്റെ ഉഷ്ണത്തോടും കൂടെ പോയി, യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ശക്തിയോടെ എന്റെ മേല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

14. The Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness in the heat of my spirit, the hand of the LORD being strong upon me;

15. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് കെബാര്നദീതീരത്തു പാര്ത്ത തേല്-ആബീബിലെ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കല്, അവര് പാര്ത്തെടത്തു തന്നേ എത്തി, അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഏഴു ദിവസം സ്തംഭിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പാര്ത്തു.

15. and I came to the exiles at Telabib, who dwelt by the river Chebar. And I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.

16. ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതു എന്തെന്നാല്

16. And at the end of seven days, the word of the LORD came to me:

17. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു കാവല്ക്കാരനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു വചനം കേട്ടു എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കേണം.
എബ്രായർ 13:17

17. 'Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.

18. ഞാന് ദുഷ്ടനോടുനീ മരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിക്കുമ്പോള് നീ അവനെ ഔര്പ്പിക്കയോ ദുഷ്ടനെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് തന്റെ ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗം വിടുവാന് അവനെ ഔര്പ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ഒന്നും പറകയോ ചെയ്യാഞ്ഞാല്, ദുഷ്ടന് തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തില് മരിക്കും; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാന് നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.

18. If I say to the wicked, `You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

19. എന്നാല് നീ ദുഷ്ടനെ ഔര്പ്പിച്ചിട്ടും അവന് തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയും ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗവും വിട്ടുതിരിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് അവന് തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തില് മരിക്കും; നീയോ നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you will have saved your life.

20. അഥവാ, നീതിമാന് തന്റെ നീതി വിട്ടുമാറി നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാന് അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇടര്ച്ച വെക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് അവന് മരിക്കും; നീ അവനെ ഔര്പ്പിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവന് തന്റെ പാപത്തില് മരിക്കും; അവന് ചെയ്ത നീതി അവന്നു കണക്കിടുകയുമില്ല; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാന് നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.

20. Again, if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.

21. എന്നാല് നീതിമാന് പാപം ചെയ്യാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ നീതിമാനെ ഔര്പ്പിച്ചിട്ടു അവന് പാപം ചെയ്യാതെ ഇരുന്നാല്, അവന് പ്രബോധനം കൈക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയാല് അവന് ജീവിക്കും; നീയും നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

21. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning; and you will have saved your life.'

22. യഹോവയുടെ കൈ അവിടെ പിന്നെയും എന്റെമേല് വന്നു; അവന് എന്നോടുനീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സമഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോക; അവിടെവെച്ചു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

22. And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said to me, 'Arise, go forth into the plain, and there I will speak with you.'

23. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു സമഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോയി; ഞാന് കെബാര് നദീതീരത്തു കണ്ട മഹത്വംപോലെ അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം നിലക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു ഞാന് കവിണ്ണുവീണു.

23. So I arose and went forth into the plain; and, lo, the glory of the LORD stood there, like the glory which I had seen by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.

24. അപ്പോള് ആത്മാവു എന്നില് വന്നു എന്നെ നിവര്ന്നുനിലക്കുമാറാക്കി, എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചുനീ ചെന്നു നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു കതകടെച്ചു പാര്ക്ക.

24. But the Spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet; and he spoke with me and said to me, 'Go, shut yourself within your house.

25. എന്നാല് മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിനക്കു അവരുടെ ഇടയില് പെരുമാറുവാന് കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവര് നിന്നെ കയറുകൊണ്ടു കെട്ടും.

25. And you, O son of man, behold, cords will be placed upon you, and you shall be bound with them, so that you cannot go out among the people;

26. നീ ഊമനായി അവര്ക്കും ശാസകനാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാവിനെ നിന്റെ അണ്ണാക്കോടു പറ്റുമാറാക്കും; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.

26. and I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, so that you shall be dumb and unable to reprove them; for they are a rebellious house.

27. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് നിന്റെ വായി തുറക്കും; നീ അവരോടുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറയേണം; കേള്ക്കുന്നവന് കേള്ക്കട്ടെ; കേള്ക്കാത്തവന് കേള്ക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.

27. But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, `Thus says the Lord GOD'; he that will hear, let him hear; and he that will refuse to hear, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house.
