1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു;

2. Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, I am the Lord your God.

3. നിങ്ങള് പാര്ത്തിരുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് നടക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന കനാന് ദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെയും അരുതു; അവരുടെ മര്യാദ ആചരിക്കരുതു.

3. After ye doings of the land of Egypt, wherin ye dwelt, shall ye not doe: and after the maner of the land of Canaan, whither I will bring you, shall ye not do, neither walke in their ordinances,

4. എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

4. But do after my iudgements, and keepe mine ordinances, to walke therein: I am the Lord your God.

5. ആകയാല് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും നിങ്ങള് പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

5. Ye shall keepe therefore my statutes, and my iudgements, which if a man doe, he shall then liue in them: I am the Lord.

6. നിങ്ങളില് ആരും തനിക്കു രക്തസംബന്ധമുള്ള യാതൊരുത്തരുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു അടുക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

6. None shall come neere to any of ye kinred of his flesh to vncouer her shame: I am the Lord.

7. നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയും അമ്മയുടെ നഗ്നതയും അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. അവള് നിന്റെ അമ്മയാകുന്നു; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

7. Thou shalt not vncouer the shame of thy father, nor the shame of thy mother: for she is thy mother, thou shalt not discouer her shame.

8. അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ.

8. The shame of thy fathers wife shalt thou not discouer: for it is thy fathers shame.

9. അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; വീട്ടില് ജനിച്ചവരായാലും പുറമെ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും അവരുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

9. Thou shalt not discouer the shame of thy sister the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether shee bee borne at home, or borne without: thou shalt not discouer their shame.

10. നിന്റെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ മകളുടെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നഗ്നത നിന്റേതു തന്നേയല്ലോ.

10. The shame of thy sonnes daughter, or of thy daughters daughter, thou shalt not, I say, vncouer their shame: for it is thy shame.

11. നിന്റെ അപ്പന്നു ജനിച്ചവളും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ മകളുമായവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയല്ലോ.

11. The shame of thy fathers wiues daughter, begotten of thy father (for she is thy sister) thou shalt not, I say, discouer her shame.

12. അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് അപ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

12. Thou shalt not vncouer the shame of thy fathers sister: for she is thy fathers kinswoman.

13. അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

13. Thou shalt not discouer the shame of thy mothers sister: for she is thy mothers kinsewoman.

14. അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടു അടുക്കയുമരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയല്ലോ.

14. Thou shalt not vncouer the shame of thy fathers brother: that is, thou shalt not goe in to his wife, for she is thine aunte.

15. നിന്റെ മരുമകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ മകന്റെ ഭാര്യ അല്ലോ; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

15. Thou shalt not discouer the shame of thy daughter in lawe: for she is thy sonnes wife: therefore shalt thou not vncouer her shame.

16. സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ.

16. Thou shalt not discouer the shame of thy brothers wife. for it is thy brothers shame.

17. ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അവളുടെ മകളുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവളുടെ മകന്റെയോ മകളുടെയോ മകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവരെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതുഅവര് അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരല്ലോ; അതു ദുഷ്കര്മ്മം.

17. Thou shalt not discouer the shame of the wife and of her daughter, neither shalt thou take her sonnes daughter, nor her daughters daughter, to vncouer her shame: for they are thy kinsfolkes, and it were wickednesse.

18. ഭാര്യ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവളെ ദുഃഖീപ്പിപ്പാന് അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളെ കൂടെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു.

18. Also thou shalt not take a wife with her sister, during her life, to vexe her, in vncouering her shame vpon her.

19. ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഋതു നിമിത്തം അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

19. Thou shalt not also go vnto a woman to vncouer her shame, as long as she is put apart for her disease.

20. കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു.

20. Moreouer, thou shalt not giue thy selfe to thy neighbours wife by carnall copulation, to be defiled with her.

21. നിന്റെ സന്തതിയില് ഒന്നിനെയും മോലേക്കിന്നു അര്പ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

21. Also thou shalt not giue thy children to offer them vnto Molech, neither shalt thou defile the name of thy God: for I am the Lord.

22. സ്ത്രീയോടു എന്നപോലെ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കരുതു; അതു മ്ളേച്ഛത.

22. Thou shalt not lie with ye male as one lieth with a woman: for it is abomination.

23. യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അതിനാല് നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു; യാതൊരു സ്ത്രീയും ഒരു മൃഗത്തോടും കൂടെ ശയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നില്ക്കയും അരുതു; അതു നികൃഷ്ടം.

23. Thou shalt not also lie with any beast to bee defiled therewith, neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie downe thereto: for it is abomination.

24. ഇവയില് ഒന്നുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതികള് ഇവയാല് ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. Yee shall not defile your selues in any of these things: for in al these the nations are defiled, which I will cast out before you:

25. ദേശവും അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീര്ന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേല് സന്ദര്ശിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം തന്റെ നിവാസികളെ ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

25. And the land is defiled: therefore I wil visit the wickednesse thereof vpon it, and the lande shall vomit out her inhabitants.

26. ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛത ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ ആ ദേശത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യര് ചെയ്തു, ദേശം അശുദ്ധമായി തീര്ന്നു

26. Ye shall keepe therefore mine ordinances, and my iudgements, and commit none of these abominations, aswell hee that is of the same countrey, as the straunger that soiourneth among you.

27. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജാതികളെ ദേശം ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളെയും ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം;

27. (For all these abominations haue the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled:

28. ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളില് യാതൊന്നും സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്യരുതു.

28. And shall not the lande spue you out if ye defile it, as it spued out the people that were before you?)

29. ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളിലും ഏതെങ്കിലും ചെയ്താല് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

29. For whosoeuer shall commit any of these abominations, the persons that doe so, shall bee cut off from among their people.

30. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ നടന്ന ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛമര്യാദകളില് യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും അവയാല് അശുദ്ധരാകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

30. Therefore shall yee keepe mine ordinances that ye do not any of the abominable customes, which haue bene done before you, and that yee defile not your selues therein: for I am the Lord your God.
