1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. and thou schalt seie to hem, Y am youre Lord God;

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു;

2. ye schulen not do by the custom of the lond of Egipt, in which ye dwelliden; ye schulen not do bi the custom of the cuntrei of Canaan, `to which Y schal brynge you yn, nethir ye schulen go in the lawful thingis of hem.

3. നിങ്ങള് പാര്ത്തിരുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് നടക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന കനാന് ദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെയും അരുതു; അവരുടെ മര്യാദ ആചരിക്കരുതു.

3. Ye schulen do my domes, and ye schulen kepe myn heestis, and ye schulen go in tho; Y am youre Lord God.

4. എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

4. Kepe ye my lawis and domes, whiche a man `schal do, and schal lyue in tho; Y am youre Lord God.

5. ആകയാല് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും നിങ്ങള് പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

5. Ech man schal not neiy to the nyy womman of his blood, that he schewe `the filthe of hir; Y am the Lord.

6. നിങ്ങളില് ആരും തനിക്കു രക്തസംബന്ധമുള്ള യാതൊരുത്തരുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു അടുക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

6. Thou schalt not diskyuere the filthe of thi fadir and the filthe of thi modir; sche is thi modir, thou schalt not schewe hir filthe.

7. നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയും അമ്മയുടെ നഗ്നതയും അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. അവള് നിന്റെ അമ്മയാകുന്നു; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

10. നിന്റെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ മകളുടെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നഗ്നത നിന്റേതു തന്നേയല്ലോ.

10. Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of the douyter of the wijf of thi fadir, which sche childide to thi fadir, and is thi sistir.

11. നിന്റെ അപ്പന്നു ജനിച്ചവളും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ മകളുമായവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയല്ലോ.

11. Thou schalt not opene the filthe of the `sister of thi fadir, for sche is the fleisch of thi fadir.

12. അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് അപ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

12. Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of the sistir of thi modir, for sche is the fleisch of thi modir.

13. അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

13. Thou schalt not shewe the filthe of the brothir of thi fadir, nethir thou schalt neiye to his wijf, which is ioyned to thee bi affinyte.

14. അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടു അടുക്കയുമരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയല്ലോ.

14. Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi sones wijf, for sche is the wijf of thi sone, nether thou schalt diskiuere hir schenschip; and no man take his brotheris wijf.

17. ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അവളുടെ മകളുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവളുടെ മകന്റെയോ മകളുടെയോ മകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവരെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതുഅവര് അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരല്ലോ; അതു ദുഷ്കര്മ്മം.

17. Thou schalt not take `the sister of thi wijf, in to concubynage of hir, nethir thou schalt schewe `the filthe of hir, while thi wijf lyueth yit.

18. ഭാര്യ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവളെ ദുഃഖീപ്പിപ്പാന് അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളെ കൂടെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു.

18. Thou schalt not neiye to a womman that suffrith rennyng of blood of monethe, nethir thou schalt schewe hir filthe.

19. ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഋതു നിമിത്തം അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

19. Thou schalt not do letcherie with `the wijf of thi neiybore, nether thou schalt be defoulid with medlyng of seed.

20. കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു.

20. Thou schalt not yyue of thi seed, that it be offrid to the idol Moloch, nether thou schalt defoule the name of thi God; Y am the Lord.

21. നിന്റെ സന്തതിയില് ഒന്നിനെയും മോലേക്കിന്നു അര്പ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

21. Thou schalt not be medlid with a man bi letcherie of womman, for it is abhomynacioun.

22. സ്ത്രീയോടു എന്നപോലെ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കരുതു; അതു മ്ളേച്ഛത.

22. Thou schalt not do letcherie with ony beeste, nethir thou schalt be defoulid with it. A womman schal not ligge vnder a beeste, nether schal be medlid therwith, for it is greet synne.

23. യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അതിനാല് നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു; യാതൊരു സ്ത്രീയും ഒരു മൃഗത്തോടും കൂടെ ശയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നില്ക്കയും അരുതു; അതു നികൃഷ്ടം.

23. Be ye not defoulid in alle these thingis, in whiche alle `folkis, ether hethen men, ben defoulid, whiche folkis Y schal caste out bifor youre siyt,

24. ഇവയില് ഒന്നുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതികള് ഇവയാല് ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. of whiche the lond is defoulid, of which lond Y schal vysyte the grete synnes, that it spewe out hise dwellers.

25. ദേശവും അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീര്ന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേല് സന്ദര്ശിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം തന്റെ നിവാസികളെ ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

25. Kepe ye my lawful thingis and domes, that ye do not of alle these abhomynaciouns, as wel a man borun in the lond as a comelyng which is a pilgrym at you.

26. ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛത ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ ആ ദേശത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യര് ചെയ്തു, ദേശം അശുദ്ധമായി തീര്ന്നു

26. For the dwellers of the lond, that weren bifor you, diden alle these abhomynaciouns, and defouliden that lond.

27. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജാതികളെ ദേശം ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളെയും ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം;

27. Therfor be ye war, lest it caste out viliche also you in lijk manere, whanne ye han do lijk synnes, as it castide out vileche the folk, that was bifor you.

28. ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളില് യാതൊന്നും സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്യരുതു.

28. Ech man that doith ony thing of these abhomynaciouns, schal perische fro the myddis of his puple.

29. ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളിലും ഏതെങ്കിലും ചെയ്താല് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

29. Kepe ye myn heestis; nyle ye do tho thingis, whiche thei that weren bifor you diden, and be ye not defoulid in tho; Y am youre Lord God.

30. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ നടന്ന ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛമര്യാദകളില് യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും അവയാല് അശുദ്ധരാകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

30. The Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
