1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. The LORD said to Moses,

2. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു നീ കല്പിക്കേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് കനാന് ദേശത്തു എത്തുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവകാശമായി വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിര് ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

2. 'Give the Israelites this order: When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the territory that shall fall to you as your heritage-- the land of Canaan with its boundaries:

3. തെക്കെ ഭാഗം സീന് മരുഭൂമിതുടങ്ങി എദോമിന്റെ വശത്തുകൂടിയായിരിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങളുടെ തെക്കെ അതിര് കിഴക്കു ഉപ്പുകടലിന്റെ അറ്റം തുടങ്ങി ആയിരിക്കേണം.

3. 'Your southern boundary shall be at the desert of Zin along the border of Edom; on the east it shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea,

4. പിന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിര് അക്രബ്ബീംകയറ്റത്തിന്നു തെക്കോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു സീനിലേക്കു കടന്നു കാദേശ്ബര്ന്നേയയുടെ തെക്കു അവസാനിക്കേണം. അവിടെനിന്നു ഹസര്-അദ്ദാര്വരെ ചെന്നു അസ്മോനിലേക്കു കടക്കേണം.

4. and turning south of the Akrabbim Pass, it shall cross Zin, and extend south of Kadesh-barnea to Hazar-addar; thence it shall cross to Azmon,

5. പിന്നെ അതിര് അസ്മോന് തുടങ്ങി മിസ്രയീംതോട്ടിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു സമുദ്രത്തിങ്കല് അവസാനിക്കേണം.

5. and turning from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt, shall terminate at the Sea.

6. പടിഞ്ഞാറോ മഹാസമുദ്രം അതിര് ആയിരിക്കേണം. അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ പടിഞ്ഞാറെ അതിര്.

6. 'For your western boundary you shall have the Great Sea with its coast; this shall be your western boundary.

7. വടക്കോ മഹാസമുദ്രംതുടങ്ങി ഹോര്പര്വ്വതം നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിരാക്കേണം.

7. 'The following shall be your boundary on the north: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to Mount Hor,

8. ഹോര്പര്വ്വതംമുതല് ഹമാത്ത്വരെ അതിരാക്കേണം. സെദാദില് ആ അതിര് അവസാനിക്കേണം;

8. and shall continue it from Mount Hor to Labo in the land of Hamath, with the boundary extending through Zedad.

9. പിന്നെ അതിര് സിഫ്രോന് വരെ ചെന്നു ഹസാര്-ഏനാനില് അവസാനിക്കേണം; ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ വടക്കെ അതിര്.

9. Thence the boundary shall reach to Ziphron and terminate at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern boundary.

10. കിഴക്കോ ഹസാര്-എനാന് തുടങ്ങി ശെഫാംവരെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിരാക്കേണം.

10. 'For your eastern boundary you shall draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham.

11. ശെഫാംതുടങ്ങി ആ അതിര് അയീന്റെ കിഴക്കു ഭാഗത്തു രിബ്ളാവരെ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നിട്ടു കിന്നേരെത്ത് കടലിന്റെ കിഴക്കെ കര തൊട്ടിരിക്കേണം.

11. From Shepham the boundary shall go down to Ar-Baal, east of Ain, and descending further, shall strike the ridge on the east side of the Sea of Chinnereth;

12. അവിടെ നിന്നു യോര്ദ്ദാന് വഴിയായി ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു ഉപ്പുകടലിങ്കല് അവസാനിക്കേണം. ഇതു ചുറ്റും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിര് ആയിരിക്കേണം.

12. thence the boundary shall continue along the Jordan and terminate with the Salt Sea. 'This is the land that shall be yours, with the boundaries that surround it.'

13. മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനിങ്ങള്ക്കു ചീട്ടിനാല് അവകാശമായി ലഭിപ്പാനുള്ളതായി യഹോവ ഒമ്പതര ഗോത്രങ്ങള്ക്കു കൊടുപ്പാന് കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദേശം ഇതു തന്നേ.

13. Moses also gave this order to the Israelites: 'This is the land, to be apportioned among you by lot, which the LORD has commanded to be given to the nine and one half tribes.

14. രൂബേന് ഗോത്രക്കാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കും ഗാദ് ഗോത്രക്കാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കും മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതി ഗോത്രത്തിന്നും താന്താങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശം ലഭിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

14. For all the ancestral houses of the tribe of Reuben, and the ancestral houses of the tribe of Gad, as well as half of the tribe of Manasseh, have already received their heritage;

15. ഈ രണ്ടര ഗോത്രത്തിന്നു അവകാശം ലഭിച്ചതു കിഴക്കന് പ്രദേശത്തു യെരീഹോവിന്നു കിഴക്കു യോര്ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ ആയിരുന്നു.

15. these two and one half tribes have received their heritage on the eastern side of the Jericho stretch of the Jordan, toward the sunrise.'

16. പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

16. The LORD said to Moses,

17. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദേശം വിഭാഗിച്ചു തരേണ്ടുന്നവരുടെ പേരുകള് ആവിതുപുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയും.

17. 'These are the names of the men who shall apportion the land among you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun,

18. ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമായി വിഭാഗിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഔരോ ഗോത്രത്തില്നിന്നു ഔരോ പ്രഭുവിനെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊള്ളേണം.

18. and one prince from each of the tribes whom you shall designate for this task.

19. അവര് ആരെല്ലാമെന്നാല്യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകന് കാലേബ്.

19. These shall be as follows: from the tribe of Judah: Caleb, son of Jephunneh,

20. ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് ശെമൂവേല്.

20. from the tribe of Simeon: Samuel, son of Ammihud;

21. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് കിസ്ളോന്റെ മകന് എലീദാദ്.

21. from the tribe of Benjamin: Elidad, son of Chislon;

22. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു യൊഗ്ളിയുടെ മകന് ബുക്കി.

22. from the tribe of Dan: Bukki, son of Jogli;

23. യോസേഫിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് മനശ്ശെയുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു എഫോദിന്റെ മകന് ഹാന്നീയേല്.

23. from the tribe of Manasseh: Hanniel, son of Ephod; and

24. എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു ശിഫ്താന്റെ മകന് കെമൂവേല്.

24. from the tribe of Ephraim: Kemuel, son of Shiphtan, for the descendants of Joseph;

25. സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു പര്ന്നാക്കിന്റെ മകന് എലീസാഫാന് .

25. from the tribe of Zebulun: Elizaphan, son of Parnach;

26. യിസ്സാഖാര് ഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു അസ്സാന്റെ മകന് പല്ത്തീയേല്.

26. from the tribe of Issachar: Paltiel, son of Azzan;

27. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു ശെലോമിയുടെ പുത്രന് അഹീഹൂദ്.

27. from the tribe of Asher: Ahihud, son of Shelomi;

28. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള പ്രഭു അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് പെദഹേല്.

28. from the tribe of Naphtali: Pedahel, son of Ammihud.'

29. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കു കനാന് ദേശത്തു അവകാശം വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ നിയമിച്ചവര് ഇവര് തന്നേ.

29. These are they whom the LORD commanded to assign the Israelites their heritage in the land of Canaan.
