1. അവന് തലപൊക്കി ധനവാന്മാര് ഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് വഴിപാടു ഇടുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

1. And looking up, He saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,

2. ദരിദ്രയായോരു വിധവ രണ്ടു കാശു ഇടുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു അവന്

2. and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites.

3. ഈ ദരിദ്രയായ വിധവ എല്ലാവരെക്കാളും അധികം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായി നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

3. And He said, 'Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put [in] more than all.

4. എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയില് നിന്നല്ലോ വഴിപാടു ഇട്ടതു; ഇവളോ തന്റെ ഇല്ലായ്മയില് നിന്നു തനിക്കുള്ള ഉപജീവനം ഒക്കെയും ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put [in] all the livelihood which she had.'

5. ചിലര് ദൈവാലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അതു മനോഹരമായ കല്ലുകളാലും വഴിപാടുകളാലും അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്

5. Then, as some spoke about the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said,

6. ഈ കാണുന്നതില് ഇടിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ കല്ലു കല്ലിന്മേല് ശേഷിക്കാത്ത കാലം വരും എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

6. These things which you see--the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.'

7. ഗുരോ, അതു എപ്പോള് ഉണ്ടാകും? അതു സംഭവിപ്പാറാകുമ്പോഴുള്ള ലക്ഷണം എന്തു എന്നു അവര് അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

7. So they asked Him, saying, 'Teacher, so when will these things be? And what [will be] the sign when these things are about to happen?'

8. അതിന്നു അവന് ആരും നിങ്ങളെ തെറ്റിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് . ഞാന് ആകുന്നു എന്നും സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു അനേകര് എന്റെ പേരെടുത്തു വരും; അവരെ അനുഗമിക്കരുതു.

8. And He said: 'Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am [He],' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them.

9. നിങ്ങള് യുദ്ധങ്ങളെയും കലഹങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു കേള്ക്കുമ്പോള് ഞെട്ടിപ്പോകരുതു; അതു ആദ്യം സംഭവിക്കേണ്ടതു തന്നേ. അവസാനം ഉടനെ അല്ലതാനും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. But whenever you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for these things must happen first, but the end will not come immediately.'

10. Then He said to them, 'Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

11. വലിയ ഭൂകമ്പവും ക്ഷാമവും മഹാവ്യാധികളും അവിടവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകും; ഭയങ്കരകാഴ്ചകളും ആകാശത്തില് മഹാ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകും.

11. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful events and great signs from heaven.

12. ഇതു എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും മുമ്പെ എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അവര് നിങ്ങളുടെമേല് കൈവെച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെയും നാടുവാഴികളുടെയും മുമ്പില് കൊണ്ടുപോയി ഉപദ്രവിക്കയും പള്ളികളിലും തടവുകളിലും ഏല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

12. But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and they will persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers on account of My name.

13. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സാക്ഷ്യം പറവാന് തരം ആകും.

13. But it shall turn out for you for a testimony.

14. ആകയാല് പ്രതിവാദിപ്പാന് മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി വിചാരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സില് ഉറെച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

14. Put it then in your hearts not to practice beforehand giving your defense;

15. നിങ്ങളുടെ എതിരികള്ക്കു ആര്ക്കും ചെറുപ്പാനോ എതിര്പറവാനോ കഴിയാത്ത വാക്കും ജ്ഞാനവും ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും.

15. for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict nor to withstand.

16. എന്നാല് അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരും ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരും ചങ്ങാതികളും നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും നിങ്ങളില് ചിലരെ കൊല്ലിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

16. You will be betrayed even by parents and relatives, friends and brothers; and they will put [some] of you to death.

17. എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും.

17. And you will be hated by all [people] for My name's sake.

18. നിങ്ങളുടെ തലയിലെ ഒരു രോമംപോലും നശിച്ചുപോകയില്ലതാനും.

18. But not a hair of your head shall by any means perish.

19. നിങ്ങള് ക്ഷമകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണനെ നേടും.

19. By your patient endurance you shall possess your souls.

20. സൈന്യങ്ങള് യെരൂശലേമിനെ വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോള് അതിന്റെ ശൂന്യകാലം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്വിന് .

20. But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has drawn near.

21. അന്നു യെഹൂദ്യയിലുള്ളവര് മലകളിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അതിന്റെ നടുവിലുള്ളവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകട്ടെ; നാട്ടുപുറങ്ങളിലുള്ളവര് അതില് കടക്കരുതു.

21. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the fields enter into her.

22. എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ആ നാളുകള് പ്രതികാരകാലം ആകുന്നു.

22. For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that has been written.

23. ആ കാലത്തു ഗര്ഭിണികള്ക്കും മുല കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ദേശത്തു വലിയ ഞെരുക്കവും ഈ ജനത്തിന്മേല് ക്രോധവും ഉണ്ടാകും.

23. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing a baby in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath among this people.

24. അവര് വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയാല് വീഴുകയും അവരെ സകലജാതികളിലേക്കും ബദ്ധരായി കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ജാതികളുടെ കാലം തികയുവോളം ജാതികള് യെരൂശലേം ചവിട്ടിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും.

24. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25. സൂര്യനിലും ചന്ദ്രനിലും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളിലും ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടാകും; കടലിന്റെയും ഔളത്തിന്റെയും മുഴക്കം നിമിത്തം ഭൂമിയിലെ ജാതികള്ക്കു നിരാശയോടു കൂടിയ പരിഭ്രമം ഉണ്ടാകും.

25. And there shall be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, as the sea and the waves roar,

26. ആകാശത്തിന്റെ ശക്തികള് ഇളകിപ്പോകുന്നതിനാല് ഭൂലോകത്തിന്നു എന്തു ഭവിപ്പാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പേടിച്ചും നോക്കിപ്പാര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യര് നിര്ജ്ജീവന്മാര് ആകും.

26. men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming upon the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27. അപ്പോള് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് ശക്തിയോടും മഹാതേജസ്സോടും കൂടെ മേഘത്തില് വരുന്നതു അവര് കാണും.

27. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28. ഇതു സംഭവിച്ചുതുടങ്ങുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു അടുത്തുവരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിവിര്ന്നു തല പൊക്കുവിന് .

28. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.'

29. ഒരുപമയും അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഅത്തി മുതലായ സകല വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെയും നോക്കുവിന് .

29. Then He spoke to them a parable: 'Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.

30. അവ തളിര്ക്കുംന്നതു നിങ്ങള് കാണുമ്പോള് വേനല് അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സ്വതവെ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

30. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.

31. അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ഇതു സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോള് ദൈവരാജ്യം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് .

31. So you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that the kingdom of God is near.

32. സകലവും സംഭവിക്കുവോളം ഈ തലമുറ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

32. Assuredly I say to you, this generation shall by no means pass away till all things are fulfilled.

33. ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല.

33. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.

34. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം അതിഭക്ഷണത്താലും മദ്യപാനത്താലും ഉപജീവനചിന്തകളാലും ഭാരപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു ആ ദിവസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പെട്ടെന്നു കണിപോലെ വരാതിരിപ്പാന് സൂക്ഷിച്ചു കൊള്വിന് .

34. But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, and that Day come upon you unexpectedly.

35. അതു സര്വ്വഭൂതലത്തിലും വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും വരും.
യെശയ്യാ 24:17

35. For it will come as a snare on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.

36. ആകയാല് ഈ സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുവാനും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ മുമ്പില് നില്പാനും നിങ്ങള് പ്രാപ്തരാകേണ്ടതിന്നു സദാകാലവും ഉണര്ന്നും പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിന് .

36. Watch therefore, praying always that you may be counted worthy to escape everything that is about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.'

37. അവന് ദിവസേന പകല് ദൈവാലയത്തില് ഉപദേശിച്ചുപോന്നു; രാത്രി ഔലിവ് മലയില് പോയി പാര്ക്കും.

37. And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet.

38. ജനം എല്ലാം അവന്റെ വചനം കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതികാലത്തു ദൈവലായത്തില് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലും.

38. Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.
