1. സംശയവിചാരങ്ങളെ വിധിക്കാതെ വിശ്വാസത്തില് ബലഹീനനായവനെ ചേര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

1. If there is someone whose faith is weak, be kind and receive him. Do not argue about what he thinks.

2. ഒരുവന് എല്ലാം തിന്നാമെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു; ബലഹീനനോ സസ്യാദികളെ തിന്നുന്നു.

2. One man believes he may eat everything. Another man with weak faith eats only vegetables.

3. തിന്നുന്നവന് തിന്നാത്തവനെ ധിക്കരിക്കരുതു; തിന്നാത്തവന് തിന്നുന്നവനെ വിധിക്കരുതു; ദൈവം അവനെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

3. The man who eats everything should not think he is better than the one who eats only vegetables. The man who eats only vegetables should not say the other man is wrong, because God has received him.

4. മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ ദാസനെ വിധിപ്പാന് നീ ആര്? അവന് നിലക്കുന്നതോ വീഴുന്നതോ സ്വന്തയജമാനന്നത്രേ; അവന് നിലക്കുംതാനും; അവന് നിലക്കുമാറാക്കുവാന് കര്ത്താവിന്നു കഴിയുമല്ലോ.

4. Who are you to tell another person's servant if he is right or wrong? It is to his owner that he does good or bad. The Lord is able to help him.

5. One man thinks one day is more important than another. Another man thinks every day is the same. Every man must be sure in his own mind.

6. ദിവസത്തെ ആദരിക്കുന്നവന് കര്ത്താവിന്നായി ആദരിക്കുന്നു; തിന്നുന്നവന് കര്ത്താവിന്നായി തിന്നുന്നു; അവന് ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; തിന്നാത്തവന് കര്ത്താവിന്നായി തിന്നാതിരിക്കുന്നു; അവനും ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

6. The man who worships on a special day does it to honor the Lord. The man who eats meat does it to honor the Lord. He gives thanks to God for what he eats. The other man does not eat meat. In this way, he honors the Lord. He gives thanks to God also.

7. നമ്മില് ആരും തനിക്കായി തന്നേ ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല. ആരും തനിക്കായി തന്നേ മരിക്കുന്നുമില്ല.

7. No one lives for himself alone. No one dies for himself alone.

8. ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നാം കര്ത്താവിന്നായി ജീവിക്കുന്നു; മരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് കര്ത്താവിന്നായി മരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും മരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും നാം കര്ത്താവിന്നുള്ളവര് തന്നേ.

8. If we live, it is for the Lord. If we die, it is for the Lord. If we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

9. മരിച്ചവര്ക്കും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും കര്ത്താവു ആകേണ്ടതിന്നല്ലോ ക്രിസ്തു മരിക്കയും ഉയിക്കയും ചെയ്തതു.

9. Christ died and lived again. This is why He is the Lord of the living and of the dead.

10. എന്നാല് നീ സഹോദരനെ വിധിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അല്ല നീ സഹോദരനെ ധിക്കരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? നാം എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായാസനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

10. Why do you try to say your Christian brother is right or wrong? Why do you hate your Christian brother? We will all stand before God to be judged by Him.

11. The Holy Writings say, 'As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before Me. And every tongue will say that I am God.'

12. ആകയാല് നമ്മില് ഔരോരുത്തന് ദൈവത്തൊടു കണകൂ ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

12. Everyone of us will give an answer to God about himself.

13. അതുകൊണ്ടു നാം ഇനി അന്യോന്യം വിധിക്കരുതു; സഹോദരന്നു ഇടര്ച്ചയോ തടങ്ങലോ വെക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് മാത്രം ഉറെച്ചുകൊള്വിന്

13. So you should stop saying that you think other people are wrong. Instead, decide to live so that your Christian brother will not have a reason to trip or fall into sin because of you.

14. യാതൊന്നും സ്വതവെ മലിനമല്ല എന്നു ഞാന് കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവില് അറിഞ്ഞും ഉറെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു. വല്ലതും മലിനം എന്നു എണ്ണുന്നവന്നു മാത്രം അതു മലിനം ആകുന്നു.

14. Christ has made me know that everything in itself is clean. But if a person thinks something is not clean, then to him it is not clean.

15. നിന്റെ ഭക്ഷണംനിമിത്തം സഹോദരനെ വ്യസനിപ്പിച്ചാല് നീ സ്നേഹപ്രകാരം നടക്കുന്നില്ല. ആര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചുവോ അവനെ നിന്റെ ഭക്ഷണംകൊണ്ടു നശിപ്പിക്കരുതു.

15. If your Christian brother is hurt because of some foods you eat, then you are no longer living by love. Do not destroy the man for whom Christ died by the food you eat.

16. നിങ്ങളുടെ നന്മെക്കു ദൂഷണം വരുത്തരുതു.

16. Do not let what is good for you be talked about as bad.

17. ദൈവരാജ്യം ഭക്ഷണവും പാനീയവുമല്ല, നീതിയും സമാധാനവും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവില് സന്തോഷവും അത്രേ.

17. For the holy nation of God is not food and drink. It is being right with God. It is peace and joy given by the Holy Spirit.

18. അതില് ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ സേവിക്കുന്നവന് ദൈവത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും കൊള്ളാകുന്നവനും തന്നേ.

18. If you follow Christ in these things, God will be happy with you. Men will think well of you also.

19. ആകയാല് നാം സമാധാനത്തിന്നും അന്യോന്യം ആത്മികവദ്ധനെക്കും ഉള്ളതിന്നു ശ്രമിച്ചുകൊള്ക.

19. Work for the things that make peace and help each other become stronger Christians.

20. ഭക്ഷണംനിമിത്തം ദൈവനിര്മ്മാണത്തെ അഴിക്കരുതു. എല്ലാം ശുദ്ധം തന്നേ; എങ്കിലും ഇടര്ച്ച വരുത്തുമാറു തിന്നുന്ന മനുഷ്യനു അതു ദോഷമത്രേ.

20. Do not destroy what God has done just because of some food. All food is good to eat. But it is wrong to eat anything that will make someone fall into sin.

21. മാംസം തിന്നാതെയും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കാതെയും സഹോദരന്നു ഇടര്ച്ച വരുത്തുന്ന യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.

21. Do not eat meat or drink wine or do anything else if it would make your Christian brother fall into sin.

22. നിനക്കുള്ള വിശ്വാസം ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നിനക്കു തന്നേ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; താന് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതില് തന്നെത്താന് വിധിക്കാത്തവന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .

22. Keep the faith you have between yourself and God. A man is happy if he knows he is doing right.

23. എന്നാല് സംശയിക്കുന്നവന് തിന്നുന്നു എങ്കില് അതു വിശ്വാസത്തില് നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനായിരിക്കുന്നു. വിശ്വാസത്തില് നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിക്കാത്തതൊക്കെയും പാപമത്രേ.

23. But if he has doubts about the food he eats, God says he is guilty when he eats it. It is because he is eating without faith. Anything that is not done in faith is sin.
