1. THIS IS the third time that I am coming to you. By the testimony of two or three witnesses must any charge and every accusing statement be sustained and confirmed. [Deut. 19:15.]

2. ഞാന് രണ്ടാം പ്രവാശ്യം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഇരുന്നപ്പോള്ഞാന് വീണ്ടും വന്നാല് ക്ഷമിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് ദൂരത്തിരുന്നുകൊണ്ടു ആ പാപം ചെയ്തവരോടും മറ്റെല്ലാവരോടും മുന് കൂട്ടി പറയുന്നു.

2. I have already warned those who sinned formerly and all the rest also, and I warn them now again while I am absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come back, I will not spare [them],

3. ക്രിസ്തു എന്നില് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് തുമ്പു അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ അവന് നിങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു ബലഹീനനല്ല, നിങ്ങളില് ശക്തന് തന്നേ.

3. Since you desire and seek [perceptible] proof of the Christ Who speaks in and through me. [For He] is not weak and feeble in dealing with you, but is a mighty power within you;

4. ബലഹീനതയാല് അവന് ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും ദൈവശക്തിയാല് ജീവിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളും അവനില് ബലഹീനര് എങ്കിലും അവനോടു കൂടെ ദൈവശക്തിയാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ജീവിക്കുന്നു.

4. For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He goes on living by the power of God. And though we too are weak in Him [as He was humanly weak], yet in dealing with you [we shall show ourselves] alive and strong in [fellowship with] Him by the power of God.

5. നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വാസത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ പരീക്ഷിപ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശോധനചെയ്വിന് . നിങ്ങള് കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവര് അല്ല എന്നുവരികില്, യേശുക്രിസ്തു നിങ്ങളില് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

5. Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you--unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?

6. ഞങ്ങള് കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവര് അല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും എന്നു ഞാന് ആശിക്കുന്നു.

6. But I hope you will recognize and know that we are not disapproved on trial and rejected.

7. നിങ്ങള് ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങള് കൊള്ളാകുന്നവരായി തോന്നേണ്ടതിന്നല്ല, ഞങ്ങള് കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവര് എന്ന പോലെ ഇരുന്നാലും നിങ്ങള് നന്മ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നത്രേ.

7. But I pray to God that you may do nothing wrong, not in order that we [our teaching] may appear to be approved, but that you may continue doing right, [though] we may seem to have failed and be unapproved.

8. സത്യത്തിന്നു അനുകൂലമല്ലാതെ സത്യത്തിന്നു പ്രതിക്കുലമായി ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒന്നും കഴിവില്ലല്ലോ.

8. For we can do nothing against the Truth [not serve any party or personal interest], but only for the Truth [which is the Gospel].

9. ഞങ്ങള് ബലഹീനരും നിങ്ങള് ശക്തരും ആയിരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞങ്ങള് സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ യഥാസ്ഥാനത്വത്തിന്നായി തന്നേ ഞങ്ങള് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

9. For we are glad when we are weak (unapproved) and you are really strong. And this we also pray for: your all-round strengthening and perfecting of soul.

10. അതുനിമിത്തം ഞാന് വന്നെത്തിയാല് ഇടിച്ചുകളവാനല്ല പണിവാനത്രേ കര്ത്താവു തന്ന അധികാരത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ഖണ്ഡിതം പ്രയോഗിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു ഇതു എഴുതുന്നു.

10. So I write these things while I am absent from you, that when I come to you, I may not have to deal sharply in my use of the authority which the Lord has given me [to be employed, however] for building [you] up and not for tearing [you] down.

11. തീര്ച്ചെക്കു, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, സന്തോഷിപ്പിന് ; യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുവിന് ; ആശ്വസിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; ഏകമനസ്സുള്ളവരാകുവിന് ; സമാധാനത്തോടെ ഇരിപ്പിന് ; എന്നാല് സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും ദൈവം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

11. Finally, brethren, farewell (rejoice)! Be strengthened (perfected, completed, made what you ought to be); be encouraged and consoled and comforted; be of the same [agreeable] mind one with another; live in peace, and [then] the God of love [Who is the Source of affection, goodwill, love, and benevolence toward men] and the Author and Promoter of peace will be with you.

12. വിശുദ്ധചുംബനംകൊണ്ടു അന്യോന്യം വന്ദനം ചെയ്വിന് .

12. Greet one another with a consecrated kiss.

13. വിശുദ്ധന്മാര് എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വന്ദനം ചൊല്ലുന്നു.

13. All the saints (the people of God here) salute you.

14. കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്നേഹവും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ കൂട്ടായ്മയും നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരോടുംകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

14. The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).
