1. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, മക്കെദോന്യസഭകള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ച ദൈവകൃപ ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

1. We doe you also to wit, brethren, of the grace of God bestowed vpon the Churches of Macedonia,

2. കഷ്ടത എന്ന കഠിന ശോധനയില് ആയിരുന്നിട്ടും അവരുടെ സന്തോഷസമൃദ്ധിയും മഹാദാരിദ്ര്യവും ധാരാളം ഔദാര്യ്യം കാണിപ്പാന് കാരണമായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

2. Because in great triall of affliction their ioy abounded, and their most extreme pouertie abounded vnto their rich liberalitie.

3. വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഹായത്തിന്നുള്ള ധര്മ്മവും കൂട്ടായ്മയും സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവര് വളരെ താല്പര്യ്യത്തോടെ ഞങ്ങളോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു

3. For to their power (I beare record) yea, and beyonde their power, they were willing,

4. പ്രാപ്തി പോലെയും പ്രാപ്തിക്കു മീതെയും സ്വമേധയായി കൊടുത്തു എന്നതിന്നു ഞാന് സാക്ഷി.

4. And praied vs with great instance that we woulde receiue the grace, and fellowship of the ministring which is toward the Saints.

5. അതും ഞങ്ങള് വിചാരിച്ചിരുന്നതുപോലെയല്ല; അവര് മുമ്പെ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ കര്ത്താവിന്നും പിന്നെ ദൈവേഷ്ടത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങള്ക്കും ഏല്പിച്ചു.

5. And this they did, not as we looked for: but gaue their owne selues, first to the Lord, and after vnto vs by the will of God,

6. അങ്ങനെ തീതൊസ് ആരംഭിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഈ ധര്മ്മശേഖരം നിവര്ത്തിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അവനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

6. That we should exhort Titus, that as hee had begon, so he would also accomplish the same grace among you also.

7. എന്നാല് വിശ്വാസം, വചനം, പരിജ്ഞാനം, പൂര്ണ്ണജാഗ്രത, ഞങ്ങളോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം ഇങ്ങനെ എല്ലാറ്റിലും നിങ്ങള് മുന്തിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഈ ധര്മ്മകാര്യത്തിലും മുന്തിവരുവിന് .

7. Therefore, as yee abound in euery thing, in faith and woorde, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your loue towardes vs, euen so see that yee abound in this grace also.

8. ഞാന് കല്പനയായിട്ടല്ല, മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ ജാഗ്രതകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ പരമാര്ത്ഥതയും ശോധന ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നത്രേ പറയുന്നതു.

8. This say I not by commandement, but because of the diligence of others: therefore prooue I the naturalnesse of your loue.

9. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തു സമ്പന്നന് ആയിരുന്നിട്ടും അവന്റെ ദാരിദ്ര്യത്താല് നിങ്ങള് സമ്പന്നര് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം ദരിദ്രനായിത്തീര്ന്ന കൃപ നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

9. For ye knowe the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ, that hee being rich, for your sakes became poore, that yee through his pouertie might be made rich.

10. ഞാന് ഇതില് എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം പറഞ്ഞുതരുന്നു; ചെയ്വാന് മാത്രമല്ല, താല്പര്യ്യപ്പെടുവാനുംകൂടെ ഒരു ആണ്ടു മുമ്പെ ആദ്യമായി ആരംഭിച്ച നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇതു യോഗ്യം.

10. And I shewe my minde herein: for this is expedient for you, which haue begun not to doe onely, but also to will, a yeare agoe.

11. എന്നാല് താല്പര്യ്യപ്പെടുവാന് മനസ്സൊരുക്കം ഉണ്ടായതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാപ്തിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നിവൃത്തി ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇപ്പോള് പ്രവൃത്തിയും അനുഷ്ഠിപ്പിന് .

11. Nowe therefore performe to doe it also, that as there was a readinesse to will, euen so yee may performe it of that which yee haue.

12. ഒരുത്തന്നു മനസ്സൊരുക്കം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് പ്രാപ്തിയില്ലാത്തതുപോലെയല്ല പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ളതു പോലെ കൊടുത്താല് അവന്നു ദൈവപ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കും.
സദൃശ്യവാക്യങ്ങൾ 3:27-28

12. For if there be first a willing minde, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

13. മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്കും സുഭിക്ഷവും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദുര്ഭിക്ഷവും വരേണം എന്നല്ല സമത്വം വേണം എന്നത്രേ.

13. Neither is it that other men should be eased and you grieued: But vpon like condition, at this time your abundance supplieth their lacke:

14. സമത്വം ഉണ്ടാവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവരുടെ സുഭിക്ഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്ഭിക്ഷത്തിന്നു ഉതകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇക്കാലം നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള സുഭിക്ഷം അവരുടെ ദുര്ഭിക്ഷത്തിന്നു ഉതകട്ടെ.

14. That also their aboundance may bee for your lacke, that there may be equalitie:

15. “ഏറെ പെറുക്കിയവന്നു ഏറെയും കുറെ പെറുക്കിയവന്നു കുറവും കണ്ടില്ല” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

15. As it is written, Hee that gathered much, had nothing ouer, and hee that gathered litle, had not the lesse.

16. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി തീതൊസിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും ഈ ജാഗ്രത നല്കിയ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം.

16. And thanks be vnto God, which hath put in the heart of Titus the same care for you.

17. അവന് അപേക്ഷ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു എന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, അത്യുത്സാഹിയാകയാല് സ്വമേധയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

17. Because hee accepted the exhortation, yea, hee was so carefull that of his owne accorde hee went vnto you.

18. ഞങ്ങള് അവനോടുകൂടെ ഒരു സഹോദരനെയും അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; സുവിശേഷസംബന്ധമായുള്ള അവന്റെ പുകഴ്ച സകലസഭകളിലും പരന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. And wee haue sent also with him the brother, whose praise is in the Gospel throughout al the Churches.

19. അത്രയുമല്ല, കര്ത്താവിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നായും നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സൊരുക്കം കാണിപ്പാനായും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷയാല് നടക്കുന്ന ഈ ധര്മ്മകാര്യ്യത്തില് അവന് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കൂട്ടുയാത്രക്കാരനായി സഭകളാല് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവനും ആകുന്നു.

19. (And not so onely, but is also chosen of the Churches to be a fellowe in our iourney, concerning this grace that is ministred by vs vnto the glorie of the same Lord, and declaration of your prompt minde)

20. ഞങ്ങള് നടത്തിവരുന്ന ഈ ധര്മ്മശേഖരകാര്യ്യത്തില് ആരും ഞങ്ങളെ അപവാദം പറയാതിരിപ്പാന് സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ മാത്രമല്ല മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പാകെയും യോഗ്യമായതു മുന് കരുതുന്നു.

20. Auoiding this, that no man shoulde blame vs in this aboundance that is ministred by vs,

21. ഞങ്ങള് പലതിലും പലപ്പോഴും ശോധനചെയ്തു ഉത്സാഹിയായി കണ്ടും ഇപ്പോഴോ തനിക്കു നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ധൈര്യ്യം പെരുകുകയാല് അത്യുത്സാഹിയായുമിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ സഹോദരനെയും അവരോടുകൂടെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
സദൃശ്യവാക്യങ്ങൾ 3:4

21. Prouiding for honest thinges, not onely before the Lord, but also before men.

22. തീതൊസ് എനിക്കു കൂട്ടാളിയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടു കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാരനും ആകുന്നു; നമ്മുടെ സഹോദരന്മാര് സഭകളുടെ ദൂതന്മാരും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു മഹത്വവും തന്നേ.

22. And we haue sent with them our brother, whom we haue oft times prooued to be diligent in many thinges, but nowe much more diligent, for the great confidence, which I haue in you.

23. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്നും നിങ്ങളെച്ചൊല്ലി ഞങ്ങള് പറയുന്ന പ്രശംസെക്കും ഒത്ത ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം സഭകള് കാണ്കെ അവര്ക്കും കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പിന് .

23. Whether any doe inquire of Titus, he is my fellowe and helper to you ward: or of our brethren, they are messengers of the Churches, and the glorie of Christ.
